I saw this video on another channel, and I commented about this guard there as well, but you really can't commend him enough. He is one of the keenest guards that I've ever seen! He literally checks every single person that comes near him or his horse. You'll see him craning his neck to make sure people abide by the rules. Well done!
Actually there are a few young Guards both from Lifeguards and Blues and Royals Regiments all doing the same, ever watchful for the vultures trying to grab reins lean on the horse or just become a pain in the butt.
It’s about time they stop the public getting close to the soldiers and horses, it isn’t fair on both of them with all the pawing and camera flashes and constant loud voices. Can they not put a barrier up around them? No one takes any notice of the signs or the safety of those doing their duty 🙏
@@ThEhObBiT1959 Any form of barrier is not possible it's a public footpath in Whitehall under control of Westminster council not MOD . Plus a barrier would potentially be more dangerous to horse and Trooper than any tourist if the horse became unsettled and ran forward .
Well done Trooper. He never stopped watching what the tourists were doing. A very calm horse but I hate to see them being so crowded, and treated like tourist attractions rather than being respected as the King's Guard.
Here we go,let’s crowd the horse stick our fingers up,try to speak to the guard, rub the horses nose til it bleeds, grab the reins, poke cameras in the horses face.Pretend we’re not scared…Anything but act normal🤪
I enjoy watching as I will never get to see the guards and horses. Please GET out of my way with your spoiled, rich attitudes, cameras. You don't even look at there beauty.
@debbiewilcox7262 hi debbiewilcox7262 I totally agree with It is a shame how they turned it into A photo shoot It is so special to watch the guards how they carry on their duty and show the world what they do I really dislike it when people laugh at the guards, people make fun at them,it is very sad Im from Australia, but i watch them how they carry on their duty with grace, and seriously ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 👋👋🌻😊
He's my favourite guard and he doesn't take any sh...t from anyone and is very very good at his job. You can tell by his face what he thinks of the tourists. Very handsome too.
Haha. That guard makes me laugh. Proper hawk eye. :) In all honesty though. The Police should step in when the crowds become too big or close o the horse.
You can literally see the shame on her face for ages after being told to get off the reins, well it was stupid to do it and part of the blame must fall on the Tour Guides not telling them over and over not to touch the reins or guards. Even the stupid face to face photos should also stop, a simple photo of you and a Kingsguard Horse and Trooper should be enough. Excellent work by a Guard who truly care about his horse and its welfare well done mate. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
There was one nice younger woman, was touching bridle, but unlike many jerks, she was nice about it when guard said something. She didn't get an attitude, or keep trying like many do. So 👍👍👍👍👍
How does a person in any world think it is OK to press your face against an animal that doesn't know you? My dog is the sweetest boy you can imagine, but if a stranger walked up to him and did this, I don't know how he would react. (3:42). At some point they are going to have to put a barrier between public and guards
Apparent;y these adults had mommies that never told them "look, don't touch". Now they are out and about in public places acting pathetic, rude and disrespectful.
You know what bug's me, no matter where there from in the world, there's a big enough sign saying not to touch the rain's, and he still has to yell at them before they say sorry, and it's not like they couldn't read it cos she spoke perfect English, and had glasses on, AND THE SIGHN WAS BIG ENOUGH TO READ!!!! So why are people still being so damn thick about it!!!! I mean the horse isn't a toy, it's at work not rest. Sarah from Yorkshire. X
This ridiculous behaviour needs to stop. There is no respect whatsoever for the guards and horses. Tourists think they are there for a photo opportunity.
I would like for them to be treated the same, ppl in your space, walking up to you with hands out, pushing you to get closer, etc! If they're so interested in the horses, should have a petting zoo/educational center, separate from Kings Guard, that explains to keep HANDS OFF these horses!!! Madness! 😮
Some people were only taking a picture of that horse's face with them, not of the guard at all. What a sight to remember. 🙄 And how they even dare to go so close to that horse? It's not their horse neither is that place a petting farm.
I would love to be in charge of the button that drops the bollards down. I would wait till they were all leaning on them then press the button. Inthink i am evil
They allow far too many people in this area all at once, about time they should cut down the numbers allowed to gather and make it a DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSES AT ALL ruling.
Theyre preventing the guard from doing his job of watching activity up and down and around the area. Hes not there to babysit or micromanage tourists. He needs to start taking control of this crowding and touching and make them move over. Ive seen other guards do it.
Hello from Spain, I hope the horses get disinfected after every duty with the amount of people that just have to touch. STOP BLOODY TOUCHING. Why do they have too., you can see the guards getting fed up with it. It's like "look at me I'm touching a horse". Those poor horses they don't like the most sensitive part of their bodies continually get pawed at. I keep shouting at the screen stop it. And why do they STILL have to touch the bridle or reins to take a picture. I wish more protocols were in place to protect them. I'm glad the guard can say something but they seem to have to keep their mouths shut most of the time.
The Police Horses may have come through St James Park, which you can access through Horse Guards Parade. The Police have stables in Hyde Park, Lewisham, Scotland Yard, Hammersmith, West Hampstead, Kings Cross and a place in Surrey. Horse Guards is stables, barracks and Household Cavalry Museum, all of which are MOD. I hope this helps you a little 😊
What is it with all these finger gestures, some of them look really rude, all this really needs to stop I feel sorry for the horses and guards no respect whatsoever, We British are to soft with tourists....
Why don’t they put the people behind the bolders permanently. Much safer for the horse and the guards. These toerist think they are in a pettingzoo. No respect for the animals or the guards.
That poor cruelly treated horse. Can no one stop him having his nose pawed for the hour he's on duty.😢 Even the Guard tolerates it and thinks it's acceptable.
This Guard is vigilant in keeping his horse safe from tourists. Nothing is going to get passed him. I admire him.

Always watchful. Well done Guard

I think he comes across as slightly hyper vigilant , a bit odd 😮
@@kaafromoz True!
Not odd at all. If horse bit them they would soon kick up a fuss
They could put big flashing lights with bright red arrows pointing to the sign and not one person would see/read it. 🙄
bslaydon7023 And "people" would still touch the reins. SMH.

This guard is becoming the new star. He moves his head every time someone gets extremely close. Good job young man. Thank you for being vigilant.
I really love this Guard. He takes no prisoners…if they dare touch the reins!🐎💕
You can almost hear what the Kings guard is thinking about those tourists.
This is such a nice guard. He sure takes care of his horse… the horse is very sweet too they work so well together.
He checks each person to make sure not touching reins, he's very attentive and makes sure horse is ok
Here we go,let’s crowd the horse stick our fingers up,try to speak to the guard, rub the horses nose til it bleeds, grab the reins, poke cameras in the horses face.Pretend we’re not scared…Anything but act normal🤪
Excellent guard. Always attentive to what the public are doing to his horse.
Watched this guard before, he appears to be very young and very vigilant.
Love this guard great job 👏 .
Excellent Guard...he watches everyone and where their hands are going ..Well done to him
I love this guard he is amazing an always keeping a good eye on whats going on.
This guard is a man’s man, no bs
He takes care of his partner with great diligence. I liked the armed police giving the horse a nice rub.
Well done guard.
This guard is on the ball today 😊 touch the reins at your peril 😂.
This guard is very attentive. It must be stressful when they all crowd around. I get stressed just watching.
This not a photo shoot,it is a privilege for everyone.
I enjoy watching as I will never get to see the guards and horses. Please GET out of my way with your spoiled, rich attitudes, cameras. You don't even look at there beauty.

Seen so many when the guard tries to move or flick rein out of reach they cling on like limpets on the rock 😢
Notice the girl before seemed to ask guard if she could touch the horse.
Love love this guard

Soon I hope..Putting camera phonez right in the horses' face is despicble ... STOP IT you foolish people. Behave yourselves..it's like human zoo
I thought the same but then realized they are guarding and couldn’t move quickly if blocked in the box.
a sign saying do not touch horses can be put up@@kaydunlap4455
The guards head keeps moving side to side 😂
This guard is my favorite! 💕
Love him and his steed
Wonderful
Ce garde est très attentionné ! Il est mobile sur sa monture !!!! Super ! 👍 ❤
This guard is just the very best. So alert, doesnt miss anything. ❤❤❤
It must be annoying, for the horse, everyone keep rubbing his face,it would be frustrating ❤
My favourite Guard ❤
I really wish Guards could really give idiots a really hard kick or2. 😂😄
Or 3😂😂😂

Yes, and didnt glare at him like so many others do
Love this guard ❤❤❤❤
Is this the entrance to the petting zoo?? Get back from the horse and guard leave him to do his job!!
You said it!!
If I got half the petting and foreplay as does this horse by those women, I would not have spent half my life in prison.
This ridiculous behaviour needs to stop. There is no respect whatsoever for the guards and horses. Tourists think they are there for a photo opportunity.

At one point the horse seemed to be actually posing with each tourist he snuggled up to them, I thought he might start smiling.
Think thats the one thats called quasimodo, quasi for short
I hope the horses get vaccinated ❤❤❤
These guards are wonderful but how tedious having to spend their valuable time watching silly tourists 🇬🇧
Don't mess with my Guard, he'll put you in your place fast.
Some people were only taking a picture of that horse's face with them, not of the guard at all. What a sight to remember. 🙄 And how they even dare to go so close to that horse? It's not their horse neither is that place a petting farm.
Nie trzeba być geniuszem żeby dostrzec że strażnik musi mieć oczy dookoła głowy i ma powody by być zestresowanym... 😐
I love this Kings Guard 😍
I would love to be in charge of the button that drops the bollards down. I would wait till they were all leaning on them then press the button. Inthink i am evil
Not a petting zoo. The horse must be. Fed up
They allow far too many people in this area all at once, about time they should cut down the numbers allowed to gather and make it a DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSES AT ALL ruling.
Why do the tourists have to touch the horses nostrils it's a sensitive area that will irritate the horses
Time to BAN TOUCHING THE HORSES….THIS IS TORTURE !!!
Shouldn't put the camera too closely to the horse and have to lean on the horse thats what will stress them
Why do they have to stand practically on top of the horse and guard?
Hate that when tourists laugh at the horse. I hope one day all those fingers will be gone. Good shout.
Theyre preventing the guard from doing his job of watching activity up and down and around the area. Hes not there to babysit or micromanage tourists. He needs to start taking control of this crowding and touching and make them move over. Ive seen other guards do it.
They should stop everyone from touching the horse. People are ignorant.
Nice to receive an apology. Is this a first and rare occasion?😊
Die armen Pferde!
Was für eine Geduldsprobe für den Guardian.
FFS! KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THE HORSE!!!!

Horse and rider Patience of saints
Why didn't people run up to the police horses for more selfies? Why do they think the Royal Guard horses are any different?
I think there should be NO touching period. Poor horses…hands everywhere.
Bootman😊
The problem is one person touches the horse and like Lemmings they all have to jump in.
At least she apologised
I guess most of these people must live in big cities where you don't get to see horses much
Do they not know the horse is saying get lost leave me alone
Watch out ... he's watching all of you 🧐🤨😡😡
Another touchy-feely group. Just surround that horse
Imagine being home and showing your photos and friends asking who are these people in your photp?
Бедный гвардеец, смотрит сверху, что у людей в руках, не кормят ли они лошадь.
Нужно заграждение или полицейского рядом
NEARLY ALL CHINESE UN REAL
Everyone has to rub the horse's nose.
What is the attraction? Standing like fools next to a horse. And everyone wants to touch it’s nose.
It’s a pity they were all as on point as this guard
What arrogance and lack of respect. Maybe it's a cultural thing or bad upbringing, or both, but the lack of learning British etiquette is inexcusable.
Question how would these parents like it if someone constantly stroked their children’s face or back of their head. ?
I'm curious. Hope someone knows the answer. Do the Guard's and Police mounts stable at the same place? Greetings again Fremantle Western Australia 🇦🇺

6:28 - GET OFF!!! 😡
Bunch of Einsteins here.
Why do these idiots have to lean on the horse, hes an animal not a pillar, no one has any respect for the horse or the guard, there shameful
at least she said sorry
Turn the other way around and a person starting petting you and rubbing your neck and face, what would you do ?
What's with all the ✌✌? Annoying!
What is it with all these finger gestures, some of them look really rude, all this really needs to stop I feel sorry for the horses and guards no respect whatsoever, We British are to soft with tourists....
Whatever happened to that Karen lady that caused such a disturbance?
Why don’t they put the people behind the bolders permanently. Much safer for the horse and the guards. These toerist think they are in a pettingzoo. No respect for the animals or the guards.
Why do they pet the horses
Off to the dungeon with them...
the tower
That poor cruelly treated horse. Can no one stop him having his nose pawed for the hour he's on duty.😢 Even the Guard tolerates it and thinks it's acceptable.
The Guard has no choice really.
Past
😂 well spotted 👍
Stop it with the selfle sticks in front of the horse,u r going to scare it.
This is so wrong,
