Josh was awesome to help you Isaac. It did end up being a mission!! But so necessary. I remember the days of glueing egg cartons to the walls for sound! 😀
Sounds so much warmer. Those friends from musician days have really come through for you. Shows your good karma coming around. The studio/storm shelter/rehearsal space is really evolving nicely. ✌️❤️🎤
My late son was the first manager for The Datsuns. They just did another tour through Europe last year. I can remember their younger days practicing in our local town hall, trying to get the acoustics right.
You guys are doing a fabulous job making your home come together to accommodate you interest. The music studio is going to be fun to hear what you come up with.❤❤
Instead of putting acoustic foam on the door, you could do a double whammy by insulating it with foam board. It would be somewhat sound deadening and bonus would insulate the door.
Hey Isaac the studio looks amazing you did an awesome job yeah i cant wait for that sweet music you never know someday could turn into a family band too. Amber is a cutie too ❤
I would definitely put insulation panels on garage door to dampen outside noise. Then hang some ultra thick in front of it. It will help trap low end .
My son foamed up his walls. Not for music recordings though. He's a gamer and they try to get in deep on their recordings too. It's amazing fr. I could barely hear him outside of his room anymore.
Don't know if this makes sense but can you get the long curtains they have in hospitals that hang from the ceiling and divide the room from the booth wall to the outside wall Sectioning the 2 rooms from one another
Enjoy these videos. My son plays guitar , keyboard, and harmonica. Thinking about getting him a kickboxx suitcase set any suggestions on a good brand .
Do you compose and perform your background music? Looking to start creating content for a woodworking channel to start with and lookng for options. And it does sound much better with the improvements!
Hercules guitar stands the best ever. Do you know if you need any more cheap insulation you can go to Lowe’s and get foam board like for using construction 4 x 8 sheets of R-tech half inch thick under $10 a sheet and you use those same nails that you used to put up the foam with a plastic washer not as pretty but cheap as hell and I know that acoustic foam is extremely expensive can’t wait to hear the music❤
I know nothing about music, but I'm curious. Why wasn't that small room right there with the window used for a recording studio? Can't wait to hear new music.❤
@@IsaacTurnerMusic lol what is a sound booth compared to a studio? Like I said I know nothing about making music. Maybe a video on this would be great for us who love the music but really don't know what goes Into it.
I don't consider this a mistake at all. I just think of it as that you just hadn't done it yet! you didn't really have to play it like a mistake. you could have just told us I just hadn't gotten to it yet and now it's time to do the sound deadening of my recording studio. We would have never known that you felt like it had been a mistake! To me it was just natural to think it was the last step in a recording studio build.
Those acoustic foams are just waste of money. Affects only about 7-8Khz and does nothing below that. Really quick demonstration why you should build thick wool panels to get more balanced room response. th-cam.com/video/_o1C4Pk8DDI/w-d-xo.html

I don’t! I make too many TH-cam videos to be able to keep up
