- Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a few updates we have done throughout the new house including the new roman shades, new rug and new home decor. I'm also sharing my beef stew recipe! Hope you enjoy!

2 Tablespoons tomato paste
2 Tablespoons Worcester
1 Tablespoon of soy sauce
3 Tablespoons of Italian herbs
1/2 Tbs sugar
Bay leaf
baby potato
Plantain
Russet potato
1 cup frozen peas
Chicken bouillon to taste
Fresh parsley or cilantro

I kind of like the first rug since the reddish orange can be for Fall but I do agree the darker rug matches much better but it's a tad long. The stew looks amazing!!! 😋

That stew looks yummy. I plan on making it as soon at the temperature is a bit cooler. For the runner rug in my opinion another color would be better. That pot looks awesome! Your new home is coming together nicely. 😊

I actually really liked both runners! But I know what you mean you’re like, ugh I don’t wanna keep it unless I LOVE it. I’m glad I’m not the only one who is indecisive. Sometimes you just have to see multiple options in your space before you can decide on something. Also the stew looks AMAZING 😋😋😋

Your beef stew looks yummy. I always use cubed, bite-sized pieces of beef.
I think you should return them both and find another rug.

Hi Liz. I like the lighter colored rug with no pink. Looks so good. And loved seeing the plantains in your stew 👍🏾 They are added to Haitian beef stew sometimes too. Thyme and parsley are also great additions for flavor. I swear my food tasted better when I add a bouquet garni or some pepper with cloves. A green bell pepper if you don't like spicy.

The pan! Just because I use it alll the time. I typically only use a pot for stews and soups 😊
