That C17 gets up and on it faster than I do in a morning! Breathtaking take off there, with a little goodbye wave to RIAT 2024! Thanks again, Ted and Nikos, for bringing the show to me, when I couldn't get to the show
I love your channel!! As an Air Force Veteran who spent over 5 years in the UK at RAF Alconbury, then at Beale AFB, CA, I can whole-heartedly endorse the experience you bring to viewers!! Keep up the great work! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. 🎅🤶🎄☃👼🕍
Brilliant clip. Love watching, tactical departures, Up up and away. Good to know there always ready for action. At a moments notice. God Bless Our Air Force and our Alies. For all the do to keep us safe.
Having lived all over the world on US military installations I can say without hesitation watching a C17 fly is one of the most amazing things. It's such a big aircraft no matter the speed it always looks like it's hanging in the sky by a string. Almost like the human brain can hardly comprehend such a big thing flying in the sky. It's truly an amazing sight to witness in person...as amazing as the footage is it doesn't hardly do it justice
Loved jumping out of those things. Like, how much more leg room do you need the answer is none...none more. Flying to el salvador on a c130 was just...cramped.
I was Air Force stationed at Rhein Main Germany from 81 to 84. C-17 wasn't around then but I loved the C-130. Did a sports jump out of a huey. That was fun.
So, that’s how to depart RIAT! A very impressive C-17 tactical take off with a nice wing wave 👋 This is one of the great things about RIAT departures day and the next will be here before we know it
These takeoffs are even greater when you're a passenger. You don't think of g forces when flying in a heavy, but you'll change your mind during a combat takeoff😁
Hey ted, mind if I use this clip in one of my upcoming videos? Ill give full credits to you in the top right hand corner and in the video description. If not, I understand! Have a merry christmas mate.
Oii oiii. Well the C-17 is a heavy airlift aircraft. It’s huge but it is extremely agile for its size as you can see in this video and in many of our videos. Oh and can carry 64,000 pieces of salmon
@@gero0054yes but the Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) has Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden and the United States as it's members states The SAC C-17's are registered and flagged in Hungary bearing the national military aircraft insignia of the nation. But all the member nations share the flight hours on the C17.So it could have been any of the pilots of these nations.
That's how you make an entrance as you leave! Climbing high with a wing wave! Power with a plot twist. Nice work
Oii Oii Dan this was one incredible departure

If only easyJet and similar took off like that. Airbus/Boeing flights to holidays are boring. That would be a good start to a week in the canaries.
Is this a Marines Toy delivery?
Hold on to your cheese! 😮
I get the impression that the C-17 is heavy and unable to do agile maneuvers.

Wonder what nationality the pilots were. Seems like they love to use the aircraft the way it is meant to be used 😂
I‘d think Hungarians, because Pápa Air Base, their homebase, is in Hungary
