Looks into the camera “do you know what to do when there’s nothing to wipe with?”
Scene opens* you and your girl walks into mcds to order some food. Some guy comes and eyes your girl, then walks passed you. He turns around and squeezes your butt.* "Do you know what to do when...."
Situational awareness or presense of mind, quick physical reactions or reflexes, mental strength or toughness, composure or self-confidence, resourcefulness, the instinct or the will to fight back and defend yourself, knowing when to fight back or when to just run away as fast as you can, avoiding people places and situations that potentially lead to heated altercations or violent encounters, and your martial arts/fighting/self-defense skills and techniques (if you have any or some) which you have spent long periods of time practicing and training, can drastically increase your chances of successfully defending yourself and surviving potentially violent self-defense encounters. Speaking based on my personal experience as a self-defense practitioner.
When I was training regularly, I saw some real fruit from practicing falls. I found myself flying off the hood of a moving car and I instinctively rolled forward (shoulder, spine, opposite hip) and was able to escape injury. I was shocked at muscle memory! Other than the road scuffs on my new shirt, I was untouched by what could have been a nasty situation, and gained vital distance that saved my life. Training works.
Can I try replicate this scenario personally with you? I’m 6ft7 and weigh 280pounds. From my experience, and especially if I have the element of surprise, once I’m on top of someone, they ain’t getting up.
@@radiantgrxnger Are you saying it's pointless to train in something when there's a small possibility of someone who far exceeds them attacking them compared to the average person?
@@hysterical5408 No. I’m saying it’s pointless training in a martial art that’s been proven time & time again to not be effective in neutralising a threat who far outweighs the victim physically. Anyone that tells you size doesn’t matter, has no experience in street fighting. Size absolute matters. My fundamental point is there’s very few martial arts, or self-defence training that have a proven track record of having the capability to neutralise a threat who’s physically superior to you. BJJ would be a unique example (which I can provide countless examples of) where a much smaller man is able to successfully restrain another man twice his size & strength.
@@radiantgrxnger now that's interesting cause I study BJJ and I would honestly report the opposite most of the time. Not to mention how, once in a self defense scenario there's the possibility of multiple people ganging up on you and weapons. The only value I put in my Bjj training is my stand up grappling because of that, though that could just be a difference in experiences.

@@BudoBrothers wait, is this self-defense for schoolchildren? then maybe. but I doubt that it is possible to knock down to the ground like that. the assistant grabs the victim (coach) by the backpack and knocks him down with one hand, but the fact is that the victim's body is heavier and stronger than the backpack and the attacker's hands, I would recommend here to throw off the backpack and quickly turn around for a fight

Whatever u practice - spar - all kinds of ways - different size opponents. MMA style but with safety. With weapons (padded batons and knives) - multiple opponents, etc...
Best thing is don't walk around like an idiot with your head down. All this is completely unnecessary. If you are already on the ground you've already done something wrong. Be Aware! That's why I always one strap so if someone grabs my bag I can easily release and run away or spin around.
Well, the replacement for DUST has emerged. Listen to these monetization and clout chasing clowns that don't care about any of you, if you want to INCREASE your risk of injuries or death by NOT thinking intelligently during a robbery or physical attack. This is lazy and full-on rhetoric - but little else.

Great explanation and strategy! I have done several years of martial arts and was not aware of these tips!
Sweet! Love hearing that. We’ll keep these vids coming 🙌🙏
Excellent advice about real world. This is my idea of a true martial artist. Thanks for the advice.

In Australia self defence in a legal mannor iz less or of the same force so you might still get charged for punching them or knocking them up
It takes a certain level of fear?
