Relationships with MrBig-alikes are actually addictive. You never know where you stand, trying your best to win him over while he actually lives his life without taking you into consideration. Unfortunately the effort is futile and you gotta stand your ground, have some self respect and walk away from a relationship that won't ever feel mutuality fulfilling. Took me ten years to grasp, their happy ending would only take place on TV.
Exactly. These kind of relationships are like a drug addiction, but only for one party. One person invests a lot of energy into the relationship, while the other person isnt investing any energy and is just basically "along for the ride". The one investing all the energy constantly battles to earn validation because they want that "fix" desperately, which usually comes in the form of breadcrumbs. Also, the one investing all the energy always gets their heartbroken when the other one going along for the ride easily just moves on because they had zero investment in the relationship. Its a very toxic dynamic.

Kinda been there-done that and although THANK GOD it didn't prosper, I cannot imagine what women who have affairs with married men and they actually end up keeping them must deal with the rest of their lives. Just like the friendship of those girls, relantionships like Big and Carrie's is BS. After all they went through and given their profiles and recurrent behaviours, there is NO WAY they were gonna end up getting married. Gotta hate Hollywood for making it look like it's all real and possible, huh?
+Marie Bellucci I totally agree. Almost like our intelligence was insulted. Real life Bigs dont have an epiphany where they fly to another continent to express their love to the very woman they have been jerking around for years. She is easy to manipulate because he knows she is crazy about him no matter what the language she tells him to fuck off in. They just remember said woman when they are thumbing through old phone numbers in their phone or when they find themselves in the vicinity of the woman's house, everything done at their whim and convenience. Their happy ending would have been more realistic if it had been a dream sequence and that in itself is a huge hilarious irony.
The show runners were strong armed into putting Carrie in a fairytale ending with big. She was supposed to end the show single and near the wrong side of 40.
+Marie Bellucci it is possible in real life. But it most likely ends in an expensive divorce. And in real life, emotionally unavailable or any other kinds of a-holes aren't as honest as Big about their feelings.
Carrie's biggest mistake with Big was how they started. On their first date she wore a dress where she was practically naked then jumped into bed with him. It's no wonder he did not take her seriously. If you are looking for a serious relationship you might want to take things a bit slower. Still no guarantee it will work out the way you want but I think the odds are in your favor.
Yes, heaven forbid women should be honest or authentic or just THEMSELVES! The biggest mistake is believing that if a guy has sexist double standards, he'll shrug them off when you hook up with him. Women are people. WTF is this antediluvian double standard? Real men are not scared of women liking sex.
@@lizziebkennedy7505 The double standard is wrong but it still exist. A woman can be herself all she wants but men buy into the double standard and some men will not see a woman as serious girlfriend material when she jumps into sex on the first date. But sometimes it does work out. There is no formula to follow that will guarantee things will work out the way you want. But as I said the odds are more in your favor of the man taking you seriously when you don't jump into bed on the first date.
Okay, come on. You prepare fondue, one of the easiest dishes on the face of the Earth, and you still manage to screw it up? Cheese and bread are already delicious, how could melting the cheese make it terrible?
It's cheap revolting low quality cheddar. It's not real cheese, it's plastic. Big is an asshole but he has definite gastronomic standards, which Carrie does not.
Ladies, there is a misconception that people like Mr. Big will only go for Natashas. This is incorrect. Their hearts and intentions are unpredictable so it doesn't matter what position you have as a professional or what you do in life: people like Mr. Big are not healthy for *any* relationship. They are emotionally draining. I had a somewhat Mr. Big in my life (meaning he was not completely like Mr. Big in SATC but had many of his traits). The relationship was toxic because of these traits and it spiralled down terribly. But this experience helped me because I dodged an ACTUAL Mr. Big two years later, and that was a g-r-e-a-t feeling! It's not worth the pain. So if you're a healthy, stable, normal woman, regardless of what you do in life, don't let a Big in it, you will regret it!
After a lot of break ups, cheating, dragging other people into their games and bullsh*t they did end up together. Because they got old and no one else wanted them. 🎉
God she comes off as way too desperate for a man like him . That’s what drove him away so many times. She could never just enjoy their time together she always had to put a label on it and try to make him a hopeless romantic when he is not. Although their sexual chemistry was enticing their actual relationship was toxic and exhausting.

Carrie had Big sussed early on,he protected his feelings fiercly&she was prepared to put upwith it forperiods of time, then she'd burst, which is whythey split upso often. They were always in an on/off relationship throughout the wholeseries, they needed to grow, which they did, before they could have a grownup relationship. She was an asshole tohim too!
You know everybody said Big was "emotionally unavailable." all Big did was not give in to Carrie about marraige. Carrie pushed and pushed him. SHE NEVER LISTENED. Maybe she shoud've asked the reaons about Big not wanting to commit. Right from the start, Carrie pushed marraige. From her POV it makes Big look bad. (Back in the Day I thought Big was cold hearted and evil. After "And just like that" my feelings changed. You can't push a man like Big. He'll run away.

I had a situation like that. But it’s very easy to cut someone loose FOREVER if you only want that. You need to do it. He doesn’t have anything to do with it.
Tell him that he either marries you or to leave you alone they get Confy.
that blue sweater-cardigan with all the holes (at the start of video) makes me want to go crabbing lol
Love need you now by Lady antebellum Mr big and Carrie great song l sing that song every week
I don’t think Carrie was needy....
she just wants answers!
Nini LaRouge And a decent man would have given her straightforward answers. She should have inferred from Big’s lack of responses that he didn’t care and walked away.
I was saved from a man like mr. Big by another man, by a very Man who loves me. The mr.Big one always made me feel such an idiot and yes, I was. I was it because I cheated the man who saved me, my Aiden, with mr.Big, even if I knew he was totally wrong for me. BUT, the difference between Carrie and me is that my Aiden apologized me and I finally understood what love is. It needs work hard, patience, comprehension. Mr. Big likes only simple things... Ladies, be carefull please, don't let they treats you like the last thing in the world because this is NOT love.
Hugs from Italy 🌼
I love Carrie and Big. She knew who she wanted and she waited for the man if her dreams. What was Carrie supposed to do, marry Aiden and not love him? Aidan, always wanted to change Carrie. She couldn't smoke because he didn't like it. I admire Carrie for waiting for the love of her life.
Brilliant point...there's nothing like the love of your life
Love them together officially
Ohh my God Mister Big, wearing a turtle neck Shrit is a dream ❤️❤️
I guess no matter what anyone says- every single woman has a Mr Big in her life and would go back to him asap if that would be possible. Carry is just prolonging this painful game…from his side. Carry was in love in MB from the first sight
Kinda been there-done that and although THANK GOD it didn't prosper, I cannot imagine what women who have affairs with married men and they actually end up keeping them must deal with the rest of their lives. See, if he was a serial cheater to begin with, what makes a woman think SHE -of all peolpe- is gonna change him? If he left a wife (or two) for her, then chances are he's gonna leave HER at one point for another woman, right? Mere statistics.
The Big/Aidan debate bugs me Carrie was always in love with Big, he stole her heart straight away & she wanted everything back off him @ once. He wasn't prepared to give it all straight away & even married Natasha cos he could'nt give everything away & he knewNatasha couldn't reallyhurt him emotionally,Carrie could. You know or it's pretty obvious if you don't want wot Aidans offering youdon't love him or you'd be walking on air to find such a brilliant man.SATC shows you can't choose who U luv.
TheShipperfan s
How could Carrie hurt him emotionally ? It seems like he always hurt her
Everyone is tripping over the fondue lmao chillll
Mr.Big is just as much to blame.
Playing with Carrie's feelings...
yeah, carrie was a real fool. yet i can see why she left aiden,,,he was way too pushy, and she felt trapped. but settling for big's shabby treatment of her, was really pathetic.
Idk, I kinda liked the way he treated her. Taking her to restaurants etc. Much better than sitting at home with KFC.
laceydays1 i feel like Big gave her what he could and she just was never content. She knew the kind of man he was and she was constantly trying to push him to be something else.
This scene is so good
Eeew slurpy kissing melted cheddar cheese breath
Exactly what i was thinking
Wow u guys never had fun, did u
i had the same exact reaction 😂
@@vixxp2856 they've probably never kissed anyone 😂
How do you fuck up fondue??? Its so easy. White wine, garlic, gruyere, gouda and emmentel cheese. Thats it!!!
this fondue looks disgusting!
l
If you are seeing a guy and you don't tell your three closest friends your soulmates about it there is a big problem..pun intended
He's a master at word salad.
Big was a narcissist to the T and Carrie was codependent.
Every moment of my life is for real, baby!
Addiction # Attraction # my man miss me too officially#
He is so sweet he didnt offend her at all
... how do you fuck up a cheese fondue tho???
OMG I LOVE BIG AND I{M OBSSESED WHIT HIM
Makes me laugh my ass off those two.
Aiden and Big wasn't her type. She was outgoing and Aiden wasn't and Big she was changing for him plus putting up with bs too much of it.
Cerrie and Mr.Big❤❤💔👍
I called my ex Mr Big..And it wasnt out of admiration like many thought including him he was successful unavailable a******
Denise Branch I did too! We had the most unusual thing. I’m a Capricorn and so was he. I loved his friendship and the sex was good I was in high school. Man the games lol sure was fun though.
If men could harness 1/100th the charm Big has, they would be able to own any woman’s soul. Most women go a lifetime without feeling this level of chemistry. Regardless of the toxic aspects of their relationship.
I love/loved this show back in the 1990's never missed an episode 😍 I wish they'd come back with the same players, or maybe their Children !!! And still have all Original Players in this Series, I absolutely love watching the Rerun's but would love to see them all now maybe giving their Children advice, and Samantha and her HOT Husband can play the cool Aunt and Uncle 😘 Come on bring all the Originals and few extras back on to a New Sex in the City 🤔🤔🤔
Well you sort of got your wish! Except no Samantha
It all came down to communication...big was scared from his divorce
Jessie K AMEN. It really is a joke.
Mehregan
Chris Noth is a good actor, because we all hate Mr.Big.
I love Mr. Big and Carrie
Why didn’t Big have any friends? 🤔
He is rich, smart and handsome! Those people have no real friends! Trust me!
Esto esta lleno de mujeres despechadas 😂 Go Big!
“I don’t know what officially means” OH MY GOD 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Okay, come on. You prepare fondue, one of the easiest dishes on the face of the Earth, and you still manage to screw it up? Cheese and bread are already delicious, how could melting the cheese make it terrible?
It needs some wine maybe. Go look up a fondue recipe. it's more than just heating up cheese
it's a tv show.......
It's cheap revolting low quality cheddar. It's not real cheese, it's plastic. Big is an asshole but he has definite gastronomic standards, which Carrie does not.
they're the cutest omg
The standing still moment...
...adorable and funny as heck! :D
Weird thing. But they kiss waaay too loud....
Things you do for love.hahaha
Cont.Charlotte was the same, she married Trey, someone she thought she should marry & thought Harrywashorrible, but thebaldgood sex guywasHER ONE.
"Clean."
Hm, Big and I have a similar break-up ritual
I need to go sleep now😪😪😪
You know everybody said Big was "emotionally unavailable." all Big did was not give in to Carrie about marraige.
I get why she doesn’t wanna tell her friends. I’ve been there.
He just wants her to stop talking and I can’t blame him
Quando Raffa ti venivo a trovare nella casa in affitto a Chieti alta
Before there was future we had mr.big
❤❤❤
If i were a girl i would choose steve over any of the others and as a man i would choose charlotte as a wife and sam as my best girl friend.....tge rest two r good as frnds
A guy like BIG is crazy toxic chemistry … trust
Carrie and bug belong together.
Who know the song?
Did u cry
No i listened a lot of Sinatra
In a world so obsessed with inclusion and “tolerance” why does everyone hate “a way of” love ?
