@@jonehaney8939 Think of it as being amused at what a moron would do with that tableware. if i am correct, in his head, he is thinking of all the damage it would cause, all the people mad at each other and the moron who was only trying to help.
@@jonehaney8939 The idea is that the plate could be easily ruined by being treated like a normal plate - like seeing a beautiful wooden home and saying “Hope they never forget to blow out a candle”

In Germany we say: "Was ist das für ein Killefit?"
And in English they actually say "a lot of effort must have GONE into this." 😊 The German is flawless though!

It's a common mistake in casual speech nowadays - and of course very German of us to correct it. 😂
