  • I'm back and hopefully no more breaks. Just hit 700 subs and I appreciate all the support! Here's SJC Chicago 2006, the last event before U.S Nationals 2006! The yugioh landscape was changing and players were joining new teams as a result. Chaos Return was still the best deck...for now.

    It's fun to see coverage afterwards of an event from 16 years ago. Still my only top ever at a big event and was such a fun memory.

    Great video. What's the thing with those teams you're always talking about? Does they still exist?

      Most of the teams are now gone. Once Konami took over tournaments (over UDE), they didnt push the team narrative. Many teams would later break up either because players quit or they joined new teams. We've seen a resurgence of teams over the years though. Teams like Luxury, PPG, Jobber and E-man Games are all big teams..to name a few lol. Dale Bellido was last seen in 2017 playing for the PPG team.
