My parents retired when I was in High School. They sold our house in the village and we moved to the country and lived in a double wide motor home. It was beautiful. We had a lovely meadow across the road. I can still see my father look for deer in the early mornings. My mother had beautiful taste and the inside was just as gorgeous as our view. We were happy. That’s the most important part. ♥️ I absolutely love your home. Thank you for giving us a tour and so many great ideas.
Oh my goodness! I love this woman! With what is going on in the world today, many people are going to be "humbled" and need to stop living beyond their means. A manufactured home gets a really bad rap, and they are one of the most loveliest places one can live. Your home is beautiful and you should be so proud of what you have created. @@51Lorie I had a beautiful manufactured home after my divorce in 2005, eventually I moved into a 1950's rambler house that was bank repo, re-did it. After my stroke, in 2014 I had to sell the house. Now, I am back in a trailer but it is not the location I want. I am trying to get into a senior apartment (at age 56) and the waiting list is years. Mobile homes really are lovely places to live. so tired of the stigma.

Couple of years ago, I bought a 16x66 mobile home(in great condition with a room addition) on acreage(one acre cleared around the mh, rest is wooded) with a pole barn,. Retired last September, sold my house(3 floors and didn't use 2 of them) and moved into the mobile. I love it! Everything on one floor, easy to clean and I've been doing DIY projects to make it my own. I get to have coffee on my deck in the mornings and look at my own private park.
Very clever farmhouse decor! Lucky you to have so much land. Very smart move there. You have a lovely home & it was a surprise because it looks like divided rooms in a house, not a long trailer. This is a great help to tiny home & those downsizing their homes. Your deck & front porch make for a lot of living space! Ty for sharing your home.

I absolutely love what is done with a mobile home can't even tell it's a mobile home. I found it interesting that they dug basement. That was so awesome. Basements are hard to come by here in Florida LOL most of the time when you dig it hit rock and water LOL I would wonder if you would give a tour of the basement sometime in the future. I just really love how you decorated your home and I like the little nook that came from putting in a stairway to the basement. And great idea putting a shelf over your kitchen window. What an adorable home! So cozy & comfy. I bought a double-wide mobile home for my retirement & really loved it. I was fixing it up, added roof to the deck & a carport. Then my son bought a house with a space for me so we sold my home. I miss it but our new home is lovely too. You've done a great job.!

Love your style and decor. You don't have the typical home filled with Hobby Lobby and Marshall's stuff and I love that. Love the stenciled backsplash in the kitchen and your collections throughout. I always second guess myself about arranging things and how things look too. If you love it that is all that matters. You have more coziness and fun things to do on your property than most people. I would love a pool, but we only get warm enough about four months and then hot enough for two. You've made me rethink having a smaller home, yours works great. So inspiring, thank you for sharing.

I love love love your home! For me, the size and grand stature of a home does not mean much to me as I have been in many that were not as warm and welcoming as yours. Right now my husband and I live in a 400 ft.² converted garage! When people step inside almost immediately they love it, feel welcome, and often declare they want to move in! Let me start by saying something some of us (def including myself) have unfortunately forgotten "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like HOME" and you have done a bang up job at making that mobile home a very nice Home! I have really needed to be reminded of that, since moving into our forever home after renting for 20 years, I fret about how the house and decorations should look to me and everyone else that comes to visit, but I simply need to remember it's HOME, our home, we need to enjoy it, feel comfortable and safe here, so thank you! I absolutely love what is done with a mobile home can't even tell it's a mobile home. I found it interesting that they dug basement. That was so awesome. Basements are hard to come by here in Florida LOL most of the time when you dig it hit rock and water LOL I would wonder if you would give a tour of the basement sometime in the future. I just really love how you decorated your home and I like the little nook that came from putting in a stairway to the basement. And great idea putting a shelf over your kitchen window. You have added so much . Coziness to your home. And I especially love you little TV room. Thank you so very much for sharing your home. Oh my goodness !! I had a mobile home I lived in for 15 years and loved it ! It is still home to me when I pass but it even though we sold it 6 yrs ago to a new family. Your home is absolutely the cutest !! You have done an amazing job with the DIY’s and decor. This has got to be one of my favorite homes she has featured on this channel and I mean that ! Just wanted to mention the U.S. flag is hanging backwards, the blue is always on the left whether flying or hanging, learned that right after 911. Great idea too having a basement. I think this is on my top 3 of the home tours! I love it because shes right, you don't need big expensive things to make a home beautiful. I make a lot of things in my home as well so I appreciate this a lot. This home is so warm and cozy and beautiful!

What an adorable home! So cozy & comfy. I bought a double-wide mobile home for my retirement & really loved it. I was fixing it up, added roof to the deck & a carport. Then my son bought a house with a space for me so we sold my home. I miss it but our new home is lovely too. You've done a great job.!

I saved this video a week ago and I'm just getting to it. What was I waiting for. Absolutely gorgeous. I love everything you've done. I live in an apartment and I also decorate in the very same manner. There is nothing new in my apartment. All hand-me-downs, found on the side of the road, refurbished, diyed... keeping this in my saved videos to watch again, I may have missed something...LOL
Love your style and decor. You don't have the typical home filled with Hobby Lobby and Marshall's stuff and I love that. Love the stenciled backsplash in the kitchen and your collections throughout. I always second guess myself about arranging things and how things look too. If you love it that is all that matters. You have more coziness and fun things to do on your property than most people. I would love a pool, but we only get warm enough about four months and then hot enough for two. You've made me rethink having a smaller home, yours works great. So inspiring, thank you for sharing.

Your home is beautiful! I've lived in a mobile home and my in-laws lived in a mobile home. Even so, I would have never guessed your home was a mobile home! You and your husband are obviously smart people. The entrance to the basement is genius - that landing is perfect! I hope you will do a tour of the basement soon.
I love love love your home! For me, the size and grand stature of a home does not mean much to me as I have been in many that were not as warm and welcoming as yours. Right now my husband and I live in a 400 ft.² converted garage! When people step inside almost immediately they love it, feel welcome, and often declare they want to move in! It’s the heart of a home that speaks louder than any interior design regardless of how expensive it was to put it all together. Nicely done! Stephanie Johnson
Wow! I have viewed a lot of lovely mobile homes, but this one is the most amazing "repurposed" one I've seen. I love the basement idea. Basements are rare in Georgia, but I love the concept of one. Let me start by saying something some of us (def including myself) have unfortunately forgotten "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like HOME" and you have done a bang up job at making that mobile home a very nice Home! I have really needed to be reminded of that, since moving into our forever home after renting for 20 years, I fret about how the house and decorations should look to me and everyone else that comes to visit, but I simply need to remember it's HOME, our home, we need to enjoy it, feel comfortable and safe here, so thank you!
