so much fun! Ive been wrapping chipboard with cardstock for far too long and inevitably most crack, I love your tyvek tape idea!! Now i need to cruise thru Amazon for a roll of my own, im seeing booki binding tape,,,hoping to locate the tyvek rolls
I love the tyvek tape. Although I have seen people successfully use pieces of the polythene packaging we tend to have in the UK instead of tyvec. Happy hunting☺️🤗💜

Thanks for this video! You made this process look effortless. I am definitely getting some Tyvek tape. I have been cutting up a Tyvek painters protective jumpsuit thing that I found in the garage. It is not as easy to work with as your roll of tape. Great tutorial.

You absolutely could love. The chipboard I use is 1/8th inch thick, so layering up the cereal box card to around that would be perfect. I used to make alot of 6 X 6 baby albums and bought my chipboard to save time, but I've used all sorts of card. Every piece of card that comes into the house gets assessed for sturdiness and suitability for junk journaling😅 My brown paper was from a roll of tissue paper I'd bought for packing my Etsy orders. 😊🤗💜

Anyway 24 sheets with some ephemera. Sheesh!! Why are hobby’s so expensive?🤨 As for your angry baboons; I was lamenting yesterday after my second failed attempt at an envelope JJ that “Not even Julie’s angry baboons won’t want to come tear this apart. There’s no sport in it.” *smdh* Every one I make tears at one flap. Minimum. I reinforce with tape, Tyvek, etc. I make sure it dries before I fold it…I’m lost. 🤷♀️
Totally agree love, the price they charge is OMG. I haven't put em on my Amazon storefront because tbh I wouldn't recommend them. Had I paid full whack for mine I'd be hopping mad that they crack. Mine all came 50% off and 3 for the price of 2 back when Create and Craft here in the UK stopped stocking them and sold of their stocks. I got a full collection with paper,chipboards and stickers for about £10 and then hoarded them😅 As for envelope journals, I haven't found a way of making one that I'm happy with unless I use new sturdy envelopes or take the envelopes apart and back them and reinforce the folds. By then I've lost the will to live😅🤣😘🤗💜

I use iams cat biscuit bags and cut them to for instead of tyvek. Even your angry baboons couldn't tear them up. If even bet that angry gorillas couldn't either.

Another alternative to tyvek is the reusable supermarket shopping bags in the uk - not the bag for life ones, the sturdier ones.

Totally agree love, the price they charge is OMG. I haven't put em on my Amazon storefront because tbh I wouldn't recommend them. Had I paid full whack for mine I'd be hopping mad that they crack.
Mine all came 50% off and 3 for the price of 2 back when Create and Craft here in the UK stopped stocking them and sold of their stocks. I got a full collection with paper,chipboards and stickers for about £10 and then hoarded them😅
As for envelope journals, I haven't found a way of making one that I'm happy with unless I use new sturdy envelopes or take the envelopes apart and back them and reinforce the folds. By then I've lost the will to live😅🤣😘🤗💜

I use iams cat biscuit bags and cut them to for instead of tyvek. Even your angry baboons couldn't tear them up. If even bet that angry gorillas couldn't either.
