Oh my word, I about choked on my water when I heard my name! 😂 Thank you so much for the shout-out!! I’m so flattered that you are enjoying my channel. 👏❤️❤️
I made my son his own drawer in kitchen with everything he needs as soon as he could walk and open it. He has always gotten his own supplies, dishes, napkins, etc. Works great, he is 4 now. I appreciate how you let kids be independent. Really important to me too.
Your comment reminded me of a video on TH-cam by “real mom real solutions laundry”. She has many children, she and her husband brainstormed and have a system for laundry and clothing storage that is great for kids independence.
One of my earliest, and favorite, childhood memories is "making pudding." It was from a box, but I felt such a feeling of accomplishment and I couldn't wait to learn more. By twelve I was volunteering to make full dinners and bake bread from scratch. Cooking as a kid was probably the most valuable gift I received from my mother, grandmothers and assorted aunts and cousins. We did many other crafts and projects, but cooking continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. It always makes me happy to see little children so excited about cooking.
When you were organizing your outfits I had to smile. I worked 5 days a week as a nurse so all I had to do every morning was put on scrubs, shoes and go. Wearing scrubs was the best part of my job, though you do get tired of looking at them.So comfortable - like working in pajamas. Before I went to bed each night I'd pull out my clean scrubs for the next day, my underwear and socks,so in the morning I was all set to go. I have very fine hair that dries very quickly, so I'd wash it in the shower, comb it and by the time I got to work it was dry, then all I had to do was put it in a bun or a braid . Now I'm retired I have a lot more trouble deciding what to wear each morning.
To label your bag organizer and make it kid friendly you can use nail polish and either paint around the rim of each section or the letters to help identify the different sizes. Then, if you ask a child to get a sandwich bag it can be the "pink" section or gallon bags can be "white"
Megan, your idea for the bins would work if you install a shelf with very low sides that pulls out on slides. That way everything can be in the cabinet with easy accessibility. The plates can be flat and the mixing bowls should fit.
I love that baggie organizer for the kitchen drawer - that’s brilliant! And your planner with the marker colors is not juvenile, it’s so pretty and organized! Happy May! 🌺🌸
Megan what do your kids do all day? Could you do a daily routine video? My kiddos are the same age as yours and I struggle to keep them engaged and entertained throughout the day!
What we do with our daughters dishes is keep them in her play kitchen. Her play kitchen is in our kitchen. It doesn't look the nicest but it works for us. She can pretend to cook while I'm doing stuff. We don't have play dishes, she just plays with her normal dishes. Then when I ask her to take her plate or bowl to the table she can and it frees up space in my cabinets.
32:11 it's funny you say you purposely did not match them because I sat starring at them wondering why they looked different. 😂 I absolutely need matching bins!
Bust out the Cricut and make some labels for your baggie organizer. You will thank yourself later! 😊 Some clear labels with a nice font will still allow the wood to shine, and give a hand stenciled appearance. For the bowl side if the cupboard, maybe get a three drawer plastic bin thingie, or stacking bins.
You are an inspiration to many Megan. I am a grandmother and just love getting new markers, art pencils, pens, and all sorts of office type stuff. My grandkids gave me a very pretty planner for my Bday and a devotional coloring book. I have been enjoying both of these. NOTHING better than new notebooks!
I love writing with colored markers, pens, or pencils! It is definitely not juvenile! Color is inspiring! I love the idea of storing a bag of necessities for each season in the trunk of your car. I put a few beach towels in there too for those times when the kids get wet in a splash pad or creek. I have used plastic bags a few times to put muddy soccer cleats and clothes in for the ride home after games played in the rain or snow. We keep a first aid kit in there also. I love that you share devotional type books with us. I am always looking for things to inspire me as a mom.
It seems that lower cabinet is for kids to set the table and help themselves. Given that, the pumping stuff could go elsewhere. Just 1 tub with cups and a stack of bowls and plates would be useful. If you add a raised wire rack and use a smaller tub, you can get more out of that cupboard because it's really too big for what you want to put into it right now.
Megan,I love what a diligent homemaker you are. It is so encouraging for those of us who work outside of our homes and who are mothers as well. Thanks for sharing your home and family with us.💖😊
For the Ziplock bag sorter, you can buy colored dot stickers at the dollar store. Just assign each size bag a different colored dot, that way your daughter can easily find the correct sized bag.
I'm having my second baby in June and have all these things I want to do before he comes, but I knew I still have time so I organized for the next few months and the month after baby so that I had little goals per week. you seriously inspire me Megan, thanks for sharing your monthly reset.
You could put colorful labels over the ones that are there on the bag organizer so it’s easier for Evany to tell which one is which until she gets older.
Put the glass bottles in the lower cabinet toward the back and put the kids cups, bowls and plates to the front and put your baby/pumping bottles in the cabinet they were already in bottom shelf and your miscellaneous bowls on the 2nd shelf of the cabinet where you had the bottles. Good video. Look forward to your organizer.
Great video!! I think you need one of those shelves that are wire or plastic in you cabinet and a smaller bin that way you can put the cups in the bin and the kids plates and bowls on the shelf above . The bowls should still be able to fit beside that win win!!
Was waiting for another video! You are such a positive light in this world❤ thank you for your content- it helps a lot of us more than you know I'm sure!
Idea 💡. Put the pumping stuff I'm a smaller bin in the cupboard you had it before and you have room to put the stack of bowls back in the cupboard as well.
I would leave the water bottles down there and put the bowls on the other side, then find a shorter bin that you can slide in the cabinet they are in now for the pumping stuff. It will be more contained and organized, but makes better use of the space below.
Fletcher was eating as many pretzels as he was placing....too cute! So glad you are teaching your children to set the table, help with cooking and laundry, etc. Their spouses will thank you one day!
I'm sure your coloring-coding planner is a throw-back to when you were a teacher. I know I picked up the habit when I was lesson planning to use color for organization and just because it made my heart happy. Enjoy your coloring! LOL
Little suggestion on the wood box for the plastic bags. You said you wished they were in colors so Evonnie could know which one to get for you. If the lettering is engraved, you could take a marker and color in the letters what color you want to correspond to which bag. :)
You need a little shelf putting in your cupboard so that the plates and baking items can go on it and then your baskets underneath. I actually put my clothes out the day before otherwise it would take me sooooo long in the morning if I don't.
I love the oven cheese idea, it would be great once in a blue moon. I bought a 5 pound block of medium cheddar today (cheapest cheese in the store, per unit) for $32.95 Canadian....
I really enjoyed this video! You covered so many important goals for May! Your children are growing so fast, especially the baby! They are all beautiful, too! Have a wonderful week!
Thank you for this video. I loved that you talked about some things you wanted to do and then you showed doing them! You’ll figure out the lower cabinet situation; perhaps some little shelves with smaller baskets where you could put two tiers? Also, thank you for the recommendation at the end and for the Target marker colors. Must check them both out! I love the receptacle you have the markers in. Would you be able to share where you found it? Very glad I found your channel. I love all things organization, planning and sound doctrine. So wonderful to see a young woman committed to the Lord and to her family~it truly is a full time job! p.s. the Elizabeth George book is very good!
I just ordered the mini bundt tins you used back in march..couldnt find any indiv ones in Australia!! only a tray of 12..none in any shops or online..but some pistage was $54!!! Postage to Aust & within Aust is never cheap..bur books thru Book depository include postage! And they are much cheaper than a traditional bookshop.
I love the bag drawer organizer! That's cool they have the spots marked but of course that's when the kids get older and can read. I guess somehow it could also be color coded!😉 if you can remember to tell your child the right color. keep us posted how it works.
Put a color sticker by each of the plastic baggies! you can always tell your kids get me a blue baggie, or green baggie etc. whatever colors you choose!
Hi Megan, I enjoyed your video so much today! I actually saved it so I can go back & watch it again. I loved all the things you touch on. So many fun ideas😊❤️ Enjoy your day & happy Spring😊🌸🌷
I love how you get your children involved in projects around the house. I love that organizer for the drawer. I didn't know you can get modest skirts from Amazon. I will have to order me some. Also, I will be checking out your website fir the concrete trays- I love the colors! I need to do a plan for the month of May too. What a great idea.😊💖
Hi Megan, another awesome vid Tfs. A tip from a grandma would be, stick to your intention which was to help the littles reach for their things, therefore the basket with the bottles should not be there neither should the other things you had there previously. Your plan is an excellent one don’t give up on it. I think the children will benefit from being able to access these things, am sure you know kids love to help. Diana Romero❤️🙏🏼💐
Hi Megan. so proud of the kids helping you. Evonnie did such a great job with the beads. I really like the baked cheese snacks. Great Video. Thanks for sharing!!!
The pretzels look so good! My daughter (age 7) loves to cook and truthfully it’s not my fav thing to do with her - but those look super manageable!! On my list to do this week! Also my vote is keep the kid cups in the bin and stack the bowls and plates next to it - kids setting the table or getting their own water is a game changer! 🎉 I’ll be getting a cup bin myself after this lol I tried standing them but they always knock them over anyway!
You might want to try those metal shelf organizers in the kids cabinet to help it stay organized. I’m trying to get more organized too and I’m having a hard time getting started and what tools to get that will work.
maybe the extra clothes for emergencies could be something fun and nice, because you probably have to replenish the emergency stuff at least once a month anyway, it wouldn't be difficult to keep that piece refreshed as well.
You would think. But I really don't use it that much since I keep extra clothes for the baby in the diaper bag. But just last week I DID use my 3 year old's extras. And boy did I feel like a super hero mom! I was all prepared!
Just an idea. For the bottom cabnet, maybe install a shelf so you can use the full height of it. Plates and bowls can go on the top and everything else on the bottom.
Does the two organizers fit side by side behind each other? Then the baby bottles in n ziplock for sanitising purpose in the one container in the back and the plates in front next to other container....just an idea
Hey Megan! I wonder if adding a shelf on that lower cabinet would help with being able to keep the dishes for the kids for easy reach and a spot for the bowls.
I used to get hello fresh which is also owned by green chef and loved it we are taking a lil break but never unsatisfed by them. 1 thing i wanted to say was this ... my son made the pickled onions like we would with our hello order to put on soft tacos sooo yummy and nice to have in the fridge in a mason jar.. wondered if you have tried making them too? cindy : )
Love seeing the kiddos enjoying the outdoors. But please Megan, do not leave them alone. Not even for one second. Too many children have gone missing. We're living in a different world. What a great idea! to store the dishes so the children can reach them to set the table on their own. Would love to see a video of them doing that, please. TYFS.
You are sooo a teacher- look at you organizing! 😄 You could put a label outside of your storage bags like: quart, gallon, snack...so you can quickly see the sizes😉
Add colored dot stickers by words then kids will learn. 1 dot snack, 2 dots lunch baggies, 3 dots freezer and 4 gallons or do by single different colored dots.
Megan, I couldn’t quite see into your cupboard to see if yours already has it, but mine has a short (shallow) upper shelf in the back. That’s where I keep my fix and mix bowls. Maybe Josh could install one there for you. Also, YT channel Plant Based Bride does some amazing planner layouts that may give you some ideas (bullet journaling) as well as AmandaRachLee.
awe how cool on the ziplock organizer-funny, I just finished making my organizers today!! I saw the one on Amazon like you got which is great, but I wanted more spaces and wanted to arrange the drawer a bit differently so I used 1/4" melamine board, which we used melamine inside our cabinets when we made them! So I also included smaller sectioned boxes for the small 3" ziplocks, twist ties and chip clips! I still need to label each box organizer but I think I'm gonna love it-my drawer looks so much better just like yours looks great!! SO fun to organize!!
Although I have grown children, I definitely have to keep track of my week. I use a simple calendar that fits in my purse. I pick up grandchildren from school three days a week and sometimes they have after school activities. My husband is a Pastor and we stay very busy with church. Loved that baggie organizer and your kids are precious 🥰. Take care and God bless y’all.
Wonderful video, Megan! Thank you for the inspiration. Do you happen to have a link for the journal you were using as your planner? Loved the size and look of it! Thanks! 🤍
When my 3. Children were growing up. I plan meals and Wednesday was leftover dinner night. As my children left home 🏠 I moved away from it. You are A refreshing spring day bless your videos
Do you think you are just blessed to be naturally inclined to want to be super present and intentional in your home making and push through with kindness when your energy is low? Maybe these are me issues but I have a lot of fatigue, headaches and I work 40 hrs as a nurse. I am a crank Monster face when I'm tired and try as I might to be gentle I am not good at hiding it. I also do Sunday School for our church every week. I'm terrible with daily devotions though and would love a program or honestly to create a devotional series for people who have experienced more than a routine simple cookie cutter sheltered life.
The drawer organizer was awesome and those pretzel flowers were just cute. Gosh, I haven't used an organizer for years. I have been thinking of starting up again, but the ones I have looked into are just too big for me. I'm a busy lady running a business and small homestead I can't remember everything . I never mention before I went to school with a boy named Fletcher he was one of three triplets. :) Anyhow hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Blessings to you and your family.
Oh my word, I about choked on my water when I heard my name! 😂 Thank you so much for the shout-out!! I’m so flattered that you are enjoying my channel. 👏❤️❤️

🙏 thank you for including your flop. Perfection makes a person unapproachable. We don't all have it together, but together we have it all.
For the drawer, put a different color sticker underneath each bag size so that the kiddos can figure it out by color!
Add a raised wire shelf under the cabinet. Then you can access everything using a shorter bin for pumping accessories, plates on top and bowls under…
That Elizabeth George book sounds good! I am currently reading another one of her books: A Woman After God’s Own Heart.
Megan, your idea for the bins would work if you install a shelf with very low sides that pulls out on slides. That way everything can be in the cabinet with easy accessibility. The plates can be flat and the mixing bowls should fit.
dowels thru wax, cling, foil, etc boxes and hung on command hooks inside pantry on door is a great space saver.
I love that baggie organizer for the kitchen drawer - that’s brilliant! And your planner with the marker colors is not juvenile, it’s so pretty and organized! Happy May! 🌺🌸
Oh my goodness! Food “crafts” is *BRILLIANT!* with 6 kids, keeping all the art work is too much
Yes!! And you get food made too!
The spring pretzel candies look so gorgeous! 😋
Megan what do your kids do all day? Could you do a daily routine video? My kiddos are the same age as yours and I struggle to keep them engaged and entertained throughout the day!

I like the idea of a monthly reset! Especially at work, it feels like the weeks just FLY by before I even realize it
Yes! It would be great no matter your lifestyle.
32:11 it's funny you say you purposely did not match them because I sat starring at them wondering why they looked different. 😂 I absolutely need matching bins!

so glad you still got something out of it even though our lifestyles aren't the same!
Put the plates and bowls in the other tote. Put the pumping stuff in a small container with a lid for sanitation and put it back in the upper cabinet.
For the Ziplock bag sorter, you can buy colored dot stickers at the dollar store. Just assign each size bag a different colored dot, that way your daughter can easily find the correct sized bag.

So cool about the homemade cheese crisps 😎
I wanted you to know that I shred my cheeses because of you! Me and my family LOVE it! So thank you!
Evonni is adorable with her sun hat and red curls! 😍 thanks for this video!

A video about the different kinds of refresher drinks and iced coffees you make.
You could add little coloured stickers for Evonnie to be able to tell which bag is which.

I used different starting Wordle words everyday, too!
Also - you can get color coded sticker dots - maybe you could teach Evonni colors to associate with the baggie sizes.
Megan you are the best I love watching you and your children tank you for SHARING
I thrive off organization! Love!
I'm sure your coloring-coding planner is a throw-back to when you were a teacher. I know I picked up the habit when I was lesson planning to use color for organization and just because it made my heart happy. Enjoy your coloring! LOL
I am dying to get one of those baggie organizers!
Yes, I think I like it so far!
Obsessed with planners and all the planner accessories! Love your channel and just how real and honest you are! 💕
I love the oven cheese idea, it would be great once in a blue moon. I bought a 5 pound block of medium cheddar today (cheapest cheese in the store, per unit) for $32.95 Canadian....

Enjoyed the video! I'm not sure if I missed it, but could you tell me where you got your planner?? Thanks 😊
ALWAYS love your videos!
I love the bag drawer organizer! That's cool they have the spots marked but of course that's when the kids get older and can read. I guess somehow it could also be color coded!😉 if you can remember to tell your child the right color.
keep us posted how it works.
I will!
You might also like "But first Coffee" here on TH-cam, she has a lot organization and "life hack" videos.
I'm a big fan of the main street exchange clothes as well. Their Sara skirt is great for everyday.
I love how you get your children involved in projects around the house. I love that organizer for the drawer. I didn't know you can get modest skirts from Amazon. I will have to order me some. Also, I will be checking out your website fir the concrete trays- I love the colors! I need to do a plan for the month of May too. What a great idea.😊💖
thank you great blog. god bless you all.
Love the little Easter eggs!

I just read that book, and it was really good!
Hi Megan. so proud of the kids helping you. Evonnie did such a great job with the beads. I really like the baked cheese snacks. Great Video. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for sharing all the tips and information!
I love Vonies red hair. 😍
Love that organizer for the ziplock bags!! I will definitely be looking for that on Amazon!!

Oh Meghan! My dream is to be intentional, thank you for referring me to the new channel I hope it helps me.
I love planners 🤣 It takes me forever to find the perfect one every year because they never make ones that are pretty similar.
You might want to try those metal shelf organizers in the kids cabinet to help it stay organized. I’m trying to get more organized too and I’m having a hard time getting started and what tools to get that will work.
Good morning from England. Your hair looks pretty Megan. Have a blessed day. 🙌
Wonderful video! I could watch this all day!
What are the care instructions for the t-shirt?
maybe the extra clothes for emergencies could be something fun and nice, because you probably have to replenish the emergency stuff at least once a month anyway, it wouldn't be difficult to keep that piece refreshed as well.
You would think. But I really don't use it that much since I keep extra clothes for the baby in the diaper bag. But just last week I DID use my 3 year old's extras. And boy did I feel like a super hero mom! I was all prepared!
Megan… try using some stickers on the zip lock organizer, to denote sizes for your kiddos .
They will definitely be able to “ read “ that😀
Just an idea. For the bottom cabnet, maybe install a shelf so you can use the full height of it. Plates and bowls can go on the top and everything else on the bottom.
Thats so smart! Jooooosshhh . . .??
Does the two organizers fit side by side behind each other? Then the baby bottles in n ziplock for sanitising purpose in the one container in the back and the plates in front next to other container....just an idea
Hey Megan! I wonder if adding a shelf on that lower cabinet would help with being able to keep the dishes for the kids for easy reach and a spot for the bowls.

Enjoy your videos. Your ideas and cooking, and organizing.your right when I organize my clothes it’s harder than you think
awe how cool on the ziplock organizer-funny, I just finished making my organizers today!! I saw the one on Amazon like you got which is great, but I wanted more spaces and wanted to arrange the drawer a bit differently so I used 1/4" melamine board, which we used melamine inside our cabinets when we made them! What about a separate little drawer organizer for just the kids utensils/bowls? Then you can use that cabinet for the other bowls and things.
I like that, just not sure where I'd put it.
Ha Ha I use journal and planner stickers ....
Sounds like you have a full and beautiful life!
Nice video Megan. I enjoyed it.
I love your hair with the headband, so pretty.
I love ❤️ thank you 🙏
Have you read any of Sharon Hoffman's bboks? High!h recommend them!
Hi thank you for all you do. I was wondering what is the green drink you are drinking?
The drawer organizer was awesome and those pretzel flowers were just cute. Gosh, I haven't used an organizer for years. I have been thinking of starting up again, but the ones I have looked into are just too big for me. I'm a busy lady running a business and small homestead I can't remember everything . I never mention before I went to school with a boy named Fletcher he was one of three triplets. :) Anyhow hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Blessings to you and your family.
Wow! Would love to know the other 2 triplets' names!
@@MeganFoxUnlocked it was Fred, Fletcher and Fritz. All the kids had names that started with with the letter F.
