Another Sad True Event Very Well Told L.T ..... Brilliant Work & Thank You Not Many People From Outside Of Wales Would Know Of These Tragic Events Only For You Taking The Time To Do These Incredible Videos
Fantastic vlog on such a fatal event back in the past. Great to learn new things about areas around Wales etc. Great locations and views are stunning of natural beauty. Very informative L.T. 👍🙏🌟
A similar accident in history near me happened in Douro, Ontario, Canada, on September 4, 1885, a wagon loaded with dynamite exploded and two men and two horses were killed. The blast was felt 50 miles away. I'll do a story on this. Thank you L T for another great video!
To be blown half a mile, was a very large explosion, the Hauliers and the Horses must have been in bits. Terrible Disaster. In such a beautiful part of Cymru. Excellent filming! Diolch.
Thanks. Could you insert maps so I dont have to turn off the video and go to google ? It would add.some more time \content that would benefit everyone I think. I love all your interesting videos of the area I grew up in .
What a sad story, it must have taken years to come back from that. problem was there was no health and safety back then as it meant the factory owners had to spend more money, life was cheap, they used to call it an act of god. No it was you not not supplying enough safety equipment and carrying out risk assesments. they new right from the start this explosive was unstable. sadly in more recent years companies are being allowed to ignore safety standards again just to save money, they should be a law that puts these people in jail that blatantly puts employees lifes at risk. !!
As a retired GeoChemist, I am so moved by your marvelous treatment of this historical disaster. These compounds used to move lots of Earth are frightening to me. So unstable. Sadly, there are many North American mines that contain residual dynamite and blasting caps. This was such a tragedy. RIP to the victims of this event. Best regards, Dr. Lauren
Just found your channel and I'm loving it. I must confess that Wales is an incredibly beautiful landscape.
