Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge is an expansion pack to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 developed by Westwood Pacific. The game was released in North America on October 10, 2001[1] by EA Games. The game is centered on a shadowy ex-Soviet figure named Yuri who has established a secret army of his own and poses a threat to the free will of the world.
Mental Omega is a free unofficial expansion pack for Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge. It started off as a balance modification created by Speeder and Mevitar and was first released in 2005. After a few years, it had grown into an unofficial sequel with new campaigns for the Allies, Soviets and Yuri. Now, version 3.3 marks the end of the long road and is the final iteration of the Mental Omega mod series.
You need to have the original Red Alert 2 Yuri Revenge game files to play Mental Omega.

Would just like to say good job for making this a tutorial style playthrough - Its unique and helps players navigate the mission much more easily.
Do remember to post your videos in the official MO server btw. Keep up the good work fam
Thanks! Always glad to be able to serve the community! 😆 Perhaps I will start sharing for Act 3~
Your guides are top tier !
Hope you win in every mission! 💪🏻
that song is so powerful that in order for volkov to play it he required to get supercharged and even then only got enough energy to play it once
I was hoping it will last till the end of the mission, so epic!
Welp we can give this operation alternate title: Tale of Volkov and his friend:D
PS: Nice showing panorama of map in the first good job
Hahaha their 'happy' trip! Thanks for the kind words! 🤩
Very impressive gameplay, well done sir 💪
Thank you kind sir! 🫡
28:30 That was a little risky, the Apocalypse could have been mind-controlled were it just a tile closer.
Good point! If it does happens.. Man.. 🤣
The Stalkers make it look like you are using a Red Alert 3 army!
they are tesla troopers from 3
The Soviet Commander should have made a secret alliance with Yunru and Rashid
That would have prevented Epsilon from activating Mental Omega
PEAK
This mission is utter fucking HELLLLLLL! Jesus, congrats on finishing it on mental. I still haven't done it. Micro and Macro is just too much. . .
For real tho, I had PTSD trying to play this mission everytime! Keep trying and eventually you'll get it! 💪🏻
Just for the record: I HATE THIS MISSION WITH A BURNING PASSION!
Same here! 🫱🏻🫲🏻
@@QuasKest Managing three fronts with a Time Limit... Unless you are a MICROMANAGING GOD.... You're better off doing the Easter Egg
This is it, the hardest mission of Mental Omega
It's not "hard" (it is challenging due to all the multitasking, that's for sure), but it's more that it's incredibly confusing to see at first which squad can take which Spathas.
@llSuperSnivyll yeah but I only know this one is hard, the rest is easily for me
My limit hotkeys are 4 or 5 and I mix units since assigning group 6 can be a mental challenge to me.
My usual limit is also 4-5 but for this mission I have to do 6 or else I can't control my troops properly.. 😩
Oh no, Volkov is being Captured By Yuri because he is using a Virtual Psychokinesis Chip To Connected through the Cyborg Head And The Body and easy manipulation Him to order
no , yuri controls the metallic body itself not the mind
basically volkov is killing his allies while conscious
Just saying, Rashid's Neurotoxin would have prevented this exact scenario
Having Supercharged Volkov and Chitzkoi at the beginning of Death's Hand surely would have made things much easier!
With Neurotoxin most of the Soviets on Earth wouldn't be mind-controlled which would allow them to either evacuate to the Moon, attack Mental Omega or link up with Foehn
The Soviet Commander should have formed a secret alliance with Yunru and Rashid
-With Neurotoxin Stalington doesn't fall to Epsilon and the Soviet Commander has much more troops under his command
-Morales is evacuated much earlier and the Russians/Latins don't bother making amends with China
-Yuri is forced to divert more troops to fight the Soviet Commander's forces allowing the Allies to reach Mental Omega much earlier and with much fewer losses
-The Soviet Commander conquers the Moon and retakes Moscow much earlier with far fewer casualties
-Thanks to Yunru and Rashid's tech the Nuclear missiles in Fatal Impact don't commit friendly fire
-The New Soviet Premier then forces China back into the Soviet Union as they invade south to stop Mental Omega
Yunru, Rashid, the New Allied President and New Soviet Premier form the Foehn Council to govern Humanity
It will be the most trouble when Confrontation Volkov after destroy the 10 Iron Curtain
RIP Volkov.. 😭
the mission that gave the most players nightmare
True.. 😩
I wouldn't be so positive for this mission if it had come out during MOs tenure without saving, but with saves I found this Mental to be a great challenge. It felt fair despite the difficulty, all the challenges can be overcome.
For Epsilons superweapons, I was able to take them all out before they fire. I can't recall exactly how, it was some time ago but I think it was battlebunker+flametower+ironcurtain. Just enough to chip them down. I also was lucky and got some of the easter egg done on my first try and got the extra time from it.
So with the extra time, no super weapons, and a good defensive posture ... it was kinda chill 😂.
How much easier is this mission on lower difficulties?
@christiandauz3742 The wiki break this down quite well. I'm not sure personally. Looking through the wiki it doesnt affect the time limit which for me is the worst constraint, so completing the initial steps of the easteregg are really useful in making this mission more accessible.
*Insert chill guy meme music*
Now: Fatal Impact
Next: Death's Hand Missile (Death's Hand)
Later: Reality Check
I personally tried to do something like this in Yuri's revenge with 7 brutal Yuri's but instead of 3 strike teams i did 4, 2 on land 1 on the air and 1 at sea and HOLY CRAP its like playing Fnaf 4 if it had frenzy mode
Hahaha what a way to describe that feeling! 🤣
So, what`s your impressions from this mission?:)
Pain, pain, pain. 😊
@@QuasKest pain ended, you did well🙂
Why not doing the Ghosts of War easteregg??
I won't try to complete Easter Egg in my walkthrough. Perhaps in another video in the future~ 😀
Soviet Commander shouldn't have tried to reestablish the Russo-Chinese alliance but instead secretly ally with Yunru and later Rashid
Cyberanatomy is then Reznov, Krukov and the first batch of Cyborg Vanguards, Knightframes and Lancers taking the Space Rockets in Sweden
Juggernaut is the Soviets helping Scorpion Cell in exchange for Rashid's Neurotoxin formula and upgrades for Volkov, Morales and the Apocalypse Tanks
Heartwork is the Soviets liberating the Moon from Yuri much earlier
Power Hunger is the Soviets nuking much of Moscow much earlier which is worse since Yuri is forced to divert more troops that were going to the South Pole towards Russia
Thread of Dread is the Russian-Latin Alliance killing Yuri then evacuating most of their soldiers and civilians to the Moon while the very few elite forces grab as much Neurotoxin in their bid on assaulting Mental Omega. China joins the Soviets
Earthrise is the Soviets invading the South Pole, killing Libra, Rahn and most of the HQ reinforcements in the process
Fatal Impact is the Soviets using a machine to go to another Red Alert 1 Timeline, kill that version of Stalin, take over the other Union and easily win the Second Great War
the 1st line already dead
The Soviet Commander doesnt know who the heck Yunru is and they were in a desperate gamble
I would like to know how many attemlts it took u to complete this mission?
Gosh.. I don't even remember.. I only can say alot.. 😭 Took me almost a week to comlete it..
Had the Allies and Soviets switched the last two missions of Act 2 Epsilon would be screwed
Paradox Engine easily kills Yuri while Soviet Moon dropping Rockets easily destroy Mental Omega
I believe Yuri has his anti-oribital defences down there as well.
But not where Libra and Rahn were during Reality Check
One Soviet Nuke and they die preventing the activation of Mental Omega
hard this mission i cant win
This mission is by far the hardest mission I ever played.. Keep trying, comrade!! Hope my tips help! 💪🏻
The casualties in the aftermath weren't worth it
Aren't we supposed to assume there were many more Epsilon troops than Soviet troops that got nuked?
@ it's hard to tell, there are also mind controlled Soviets and Allies in the mix.But assuming the Epsilon have cloning vats,I agree with your point
soviets were always the high score in "avoidable casualties"
True.. But I guess the Soviet was desperate, they know they only have one chance. :/
