The season, and the impact that Randy Moss had as a rookie in 1998 is something that might never be seen again. There have great receivers drafted in the years since, but none of them had the mind blowing talent and ability to take over a game like Randy did in '98.

I really don't think people give Randle his worth sometimes, like the general public. The DT we are getting today at the top who can get 5 sacks or so is so incredibly hard to find with that year-year consistency and even when I was in high school a McCoy/Atkins for example was top of the league let alone a guy like Aaron Donald. Randall was not only in a league of his own at times, but the dude set the pace for DT's to follow. 8 years of 10 plus sacks in a row at that position is monstrous. Barely missed 9. Don't give that man a reason to hate you.

1 Super Motl i should remind you that the Atlanta falcons in 98 were 14-2.. It's not like the vikings got beat by a 9-7 wild card team.. This game was gonna be decided by a narrow margin.. Anderson's miss was crucial...

Not just Gary. Fumbled before half. Griffith drops a pick before tying TD. Smith running out of bounds on final drive multiple times instead of staying in bounds as instructed to bleed clock. This all happened before the miss. It was a total team loss and it still hurts!

I don’t even have to look when Anderson kicks. I know he’s automatic. See nfc championship.
