I’m more impressed that all the fans stayed when they were that down!
We're minnesota, we may have the best mediocre teams but 45% of the time we make the comeback 100% of the time and know what to expect!
i was there and by the time i got to my seats it was 17 to 0 😂
Like 50 people already said that
True fans don’t give up because the odds are bad, they believe in their team and trust them to make the adjustments
Were used to it
The fact that that place was still packed says a lot about Minnesota fans lol
Much respect for Vikings fans. Watching QB for my teams QB, grew to like Cousins.
THATS JUST US JJETAS FANS/Minnesota Fans
i think people learned from the minneapolis miracle not to leave early and count the vikings out until the very end
Vikings fans are the most fickle in the NFL. In my humble opinion. Most of them thought they were screwed when Cousins got hurt, and they haven’t been playing too badly since he got hurt. Even supposes “fans” on the sports radio station, KFXN 100.3, perpetuate all this damn gloom and doom , then they are super happy, then right back to negative BS.
Warmer inside 😅
“Voice crack on the snap”
He didn’t have to say that and do him dirty by pointing it out lmao 😂
Had me dying hahaha
Scrolled for this comment 😂 hilarious
He was just stating the obvious lol
Not the first time Mickey mouse said HUT. Did against Detroit couple years ago too lmao so funny
3:13
Most amazing part of the comeback is that to come back from 33-0, and 36-7 late in the 3rd, you would think everything would have to go perfect. But it was far from perfect (stolen TD, Reagor quitting his route on the pick, turnover on downs) and they still did it.
Good point.
that’s exactly what impressed me most
Down 36-7 with 1:21 left in the 3rd and still have all that happen but come back and win!? WTH. Almost as if Matt Ryan was the opposing QB. Oh wait
Exactly. That's what makes it hilarious. :D
The game shouldn’t have gone into OT, it only did because that TD was stolen from us
My cousin, who is a packers fan, said when it was 0-33, don't look like your winning the division today! We were having our family Christmas this weekend, and as the Vikings started rolling, we told him that he kick started the Vikings and by the end of the game he had nothing to say.
My mom’s friend was going live at the beginning of the game for the pre show and there was a Colt’s fan being a jerk in the chat. Everyone roasted him after the game by asking if he had anything to say now. 😂😂
I happen to know that cousin who was "theCoctor" Packer fan, and just like a diehard Packer fan, today, November 25, 2023, again said "Doesn't look like your winning the division this year." Shame on him!
I'm a Packers fan. Trust me it was hard to keep the gun down from the tv
Lies
To quote Sly Stallone/ Rocky balboa " it ain't Over til it's over"
Good example here
This was the game that sealed me as a Viks fan. As an aussie watching NFL for the first time, this was my 3rd game watching ever. After this match I bought a jersey, these guys killed it
Agreed. I've been following NFL for over 50 years coz the rules and actions make much more sense than NRL/AFL/union in Australia where I'd lived most of my life in. Congrat to Minnesota. Still admire QB Frank Tarkenton back in the 70's though I'm a forged 49ers fan :)
@spaceinvader384 couldn't agree more, I love the pacing of NFL much more then the rugby. I'm also a fan of the 49ers since they had Hayne on the team for a short time and what a specials player he would have made
Prepare for years of disappointment, Nathan.
Haha look I understand our history quite well, I'm only 30 so I have plenty of time to watch our time get to another Superbowl.
@nathanpeachey "There's always next year" - Remember these words 😂 lifetime vikings fan.
From a Bills fan, congrats to Minnesota for breaking our record
Bills V Vikes game was just as wild that season
And from an Oilers fan, congrats to Indianapolis for breaking our record. 😌
@Vod-Kaknockers 😂😂 Matt Ryan known for losing 28-0 in the first half might of been 21 in sb and now on the losing side of the nfl record it was destiny 😂 if the vikings make it to the superbowl I feel the bills will be the oppents at least we know it'll be a hell of a game if it ever happens lol
When the Vikings lose another SB, you'll be able to congratulate them again. First team to go 0-5 in the big game.
Playoffs tho that bills oilers comeback/meltdown will likely never me beat.
The craziest part of this comeback was the refs literally took 14 Vikings points off the board and called back a gigantic punt return all to try and stop this comeback. Even with Kirks int and not converting on 4th and 15 also.
On that fumble recovery, his knee was down as he grabbed the ball so it wouldn’t have been a touchdown anyway.
@@mysonandme8424Not true. Even if you say his shin touched, which I am 99% sure it didn't, he did not touch the Colts defender.
This is why we need to have a lot more votes than the lefties in 2024. That way, they still can’t win even though they are cheating.
🙄 Yeah… the refs tried to stop the Vikings from winning. Uh huh… 😂
@@cy8685 100%
Seattle Seahawk fan here. It's 2024 and I am just seeing this for the first time. I feel like I just watched a Hollywood movie called "Remember the Vikings"! That was so incredible, and I found myself celebrating like I a Vikings fan.
Good for you all. Kinda reminded me of when the Hawks went to the super bowl after a divisional win also from wayyyy behind.
Was it not the championship game against the cheese heads.
It’s funny that the Vikings comeback wasn’t even against the Colts. It was against the referees.
That fumble that the refs missed that could have tied the game with a 2 point conversion was utter garbage! Stevie Wonder could have seen that the ball clearly was fumbled well before any Indy player would have been on the ground with it. Makes you wonder what the refs were looking at and I can sometimes understand the questioning of whether or not the refs are biased ?
@@dankelly5150ong like bruh that shit had me pissed and im a ravens fan so i know the refs be on bs all the time like them damn chiefs refs nfl is fixed

I wonder too bro hope it ain't like that@@Demon-925
Down 33-0 and they still won, despite the worst refs you will ever see.
Down 33-0 and they still won? Hey thanks! If it weren’t for your comment no one would have ever known! 🙄

😂 Not at all! I’m not a Vikings fan either. I simply know stupid when I see it and not afraid to call it out.
Poor Matt Ryan. This, and the biggest comeback in a Superbowl.
Damn that's crazy.
People really tried blaming Matt Ryan after this and not the defense for allowing 33 points in 2 quarters.
Like the Super Bowl I get but still Matt Ryan was not anymore responsible for this loss then the defense.
Neither games were Ryan's fault. Especially Super Bowl
@@warehousedave7937 generally agree, but it is the offense’s job to keep the other offense off the field. so too many three and outs is Matt Ryan‘s responsibility (and the entire offences responsibility)
Doesn't seem like he was blaming Ryan. He said "poor Ryan", so I assume he's showing sympathy for a guy who built big leads for his teams only to end up on the losing side.
So the refs on the field miss the fumble that was ran back For TD and they don't get the pick 6? That's just wrong
The refs were downright putrid and screwed over Sullivan out of two defensive touchdowns that game. It was insane how biased the refs were!
Twice and if you watch the actual game the refs were really on something when they called the face mask call too. I really want to know what the vikings did that official's hate them lol.
@@darrintasto1509Also, calling unsportsmanlike conduct on the player that you BLATANTLY stole a touchdown from is just disgusting and petty.
@@darrintasto1509 The refs panicked when they realised Saturday might not get his dominating win against a good team
@@zackeryh250 his knee was down as he grabbed the ball so it wouldn’t have been a touchdown anyway.
Refs tried so hard to give that game to the Colts lol
As an aussie watching NFL for the first time, this was my 3rd game watching ever. love all
Lifelong Vikings fan and this game was magical. That 2022 season was so great overall. Come on Vikes, win it all before I die.
I know ain't that a bitch, yall just can't get it done no matter what!?!?! 0-4 in the superbowl and still have 0 superbowl wins😢!!
Lions 🦁
Estimate how many years you have left, sir? So that they can prepare a suitable strategy...😄
Rigged lol
Dude, I've had me some vikings socks that I'll only wear when they win the super bowl. They'll still be collecting dust when I pass them on to my kin 😅😅
As amazing as being there for this game was, its almost sad knowing ill never be in person for a game this good ever again.
But you will always have that experience no matter what
Wow! Sad? You take sports way too serious
Peaking be like that
never say never, youll see better im sure, nfl keeps getting better and there are multiple amazing games every week, i mean the patriots coming back in the superbowl against the falcons was even better
@natelav534 What's wrong, the truth hurts? Another NFL worshiper lol 😆
Truly a Matt Ryan classic
Had to listen to this game on the radio, it's a miracle Paul Allen didn't have a heart attack!
Judging by the time BETWEEN the edited clips, Min defence must have been even more amazing.
i wish they showed more, especially after the interception at the colts 1
the whole place being packed after 33-0 show's that we minnesota fans are ride or die cause what do we have to lose lol. i appreciate all you guys staying loyal
Yeah it's not like us vikings fans have huge expectations considering they haven't ever won anything.
We love our Vikings. Sure, we're the most critical and jaded fans, but in our hearts of hearts, there is nothing more we want than a SB win.
The word is "shows," not "show's."
I guess that's the value of a Minneapolis education.
@@markv1274 WeLl TeChNiCly 🤓🤓🤓
@@markv1274 Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
Wow they had alot go against them including the fumble recovery and still won.😊
This is unusual in another way as well. Usually, great records are broken by a team while playing against the Browns ! This was an exception !
I remember this game not for the comeback so much as the refs screwing the vikings on two turnovers with one of those that should have been a TD.
Right the whole world was against mn that day but the fans.
The only people that say this nonsense are Vikings fans and people parroting Vikings fans. You can not get screwed over on a turnover with replay. Just biased BS from biased fans. Sports fans playing the victim. People from Minnesota love playing the victim.
@Onthebrink5 look up the bounty gate and why Sean Payton was suspended from the nfl. It was real they even made a movie about it. Then go look at the Bengals game last week in overtime where we had the first down and got the play off before the Bengals called time out. Don't sit there and act stupid.
@@darrintasto1509 Post hoc ergo propter hoc.
This comeback is even more impressive when you realise the defence tried all they could to lose this in the first half and they still had time to score enough points to comeback
Voice crack on the snap 😂😂😂 3:10
Sounded like a small dog 🤣
Lol for real it sounded like a little yelp of a dog 😂
Small dog?? LMAO I always thought Mickey mouse was behind center on them voice cracks.
Down by 29 with 16 minutes 17 seconds to play and still win the game is probably more impressive than the 33 point comeback from halftime
The refs were hatin on the vikings
At least the refs don't just hate on the Lions now.
On a different note, I had the privilege of meeting Kirk Cousins. He was a very nice and well-spoken man. I will always be a fan of Kirk Cousins, not for what he does on the field but for who he is as a person.
@@joshuacaldwell7287 Still it's one of the best comebacks I ever saw !! 🏈
2023 and Cook the hero is no more. Betrayal in the nfl is legit
Not even the refs could stop the comeback
yup, but viking fans are also lucky the Refs didnt decide to give them that extra inch or two for the first down at the end there. But Ill assume after so many bad calls while the refs were attempting to fix the game, they realized if they gave them the first down there it would be way too obvious LMAO
Every time I’m down I have to watch this. It brings my mood right back up.
Never give up !
Bravo! Minnesota Vikings well done!
The best game I have ever witnessed in my lifetime Skoal nation
Matty Ice? Nah, Matty Nice!
Always hands over the W😎😂
No matter who’s team your a fan of this was genuinely impressive.
As a fan of both the Vikings and the Buccaneers I've been on both sides of this outcome. Funny thing is that it was against the Colts both times.
Oh, THAT'S what an offense is! (from a Bears fan)
Great game!! I've been a Cousins fan from day one when he played for Washington. I know the fam personally, although bein a Bears fan my whole life, I wish only the best for him.
Everyone else: "What a miraculous comeback!"
Vikings fans: "First time watching a Vikings game?"
Just a great game! Incredible comeback!
Ref screwed him out of a touchdown then call unsportsmanlike conduct for getting called out on it. Made himself look so weak.
No, his knee was on the ground as he touched the ball to pick it up so it wouldn’t have been a touchdown regardless.
@@mysonandme8424 idk why so many people are saying this. Yeah his knee was down. No he wasn't touched by a single colt. It would have been a scoop and score
No matter how hard the refs tried, they couldn’t deny us of this win
They friggin tried to. People cant say that refs dont sway games for betting purposes.
The _weird_ flag by the refs at the end *saved* the game for the Vikings. They don't throw that flag and the game ends in a tie. But of course, you're OK with _that_ flag. 🙄
@@ScrewFlanders It's because the Colts players were preventing the vikings players from getting the ball to the refs. You can't do that. That said, I doubt the refs had much malicious intent; they just made a few bad calls.
@@FreshanathaWell you should try to do it more discreetly than they did.
@@ScrewFlanders if they don’t call back to obvious fumbles then the Vikings win by two possessions, the flag at the end was a blatant delay of game. And Greg Joseph hit multiple 60 yarders last year and that kick would of been good from 60
This reminds me of the Jets VS Miami game back in 2000. At the start of the 4th qrt. it was Miami 37, Jets 7. At the end of the game that went into overtime it was Jets 40, Miami 37. Dang Testaverde came back and scored 30 pioints in the 4th. I lost a football pool because of this game. Another great comeback.
Great video but was hoping to see some of those defensive stands
i was there vikings are the best
Vikings Defence didn’t get enough credit in the video, they also changed in the second half only letting Colts score 3 points, and giving the offence the opportunity to get the scores they needed. Still great to watch but I bet there were some big defensive moves made we didn’t see ;)
Going down 33-0 doesn’t earn you credit… the comeback isn’t necessary without giving up the 33.
Lol they did let them score 33 in the first half though..
They also made the colts settle for 5 fGs
Thank you!
that voice crack is a 1 of 1.
The primary reason why we stayed was because it was kids vs mascots at halftime. If you know you know. One thing lead to another..
also just a fun place to be.
Mascots are ruthless sometimes it funny 😂
I was there, was my very first game and it will be memorable. Little did I know that they it would be the largest comeback in nfl history and won the north .
Next day I went and got an NFC North champs hoodie, I still have it
Captain Kirk Cousins at his awesome BEST !!!
We sorely miss having Captain Kirk this (2023) year. Looking forward to having our quarterback back at the helm in 2024 !!! 😃😃🏈🏈
once you see Cousins zone in, the game was over lol. Jefferson and Osborne were deadly. even an interception doesnt deter him
I know they win and I’m still getting mad at the refs for that fumble call
That was a crazy comeback, I turned the game off and watched my alma mater Cincinnati slap around LaSalle while keeping track of the game on my phone. I turned the game back on after the Bearcats win to see the Vikings down 36-21 but driving. I watched the rest in disbelief, The Vikings played a lot of one score games that year and this game like the others nearly gave me a heart attack
I literally couldn't believe 39 got robbed twice like that. Absolutely abysmal.
I was there, SKOL, had 10 yard seats 2nd row from bottom 1:38 I was just to the left of where the camera is pointed, so I guess you could say I was on the Viking side not the colt side
4:02 BS FLAG AND CALL IMHO, like the announcers said just cleaning up the pile
6:52 Nice going Boyd
U saw this video to also I proved you wrong we did lose LOL😂
@@user-mq6oe3ls3dwhat?
In your *humble* opinion? Your opinion isn't humble.
I don't know if you understood this, but the announcers were being sarcastic.
It's not the player's job to clean up the pile like that. The defender might have been injured, plus it's just bad sportsmanship.
That's a penalty every single time.
@@markv1274 In My HONEST Opinion
Matty Ice was opposing QB in largest comeback in superbowl history and in NFL history, man that is tough
It is tough, but it's also on the defense. Ryan and the offense scored 28 and 33 before the defense in both games decided to just give up.
Not only those but Matt Ryan actually now holds the unified title for comeback losses. He was the QB for the team that holds the largest blown leads in NFL history, Superbowl history, Playoff history AND International game history.
It was destiny lol
Playoff history is not his.
Houston Oilers - 32 points lead
@jogendron6320 Bro meant NFC championship history. As of this year, that Lions tied us for that one (unfortunately....)
This was just awesome 😂
Colts play calling in the 2nd half was abysmal
It's hard being a MN sports fan.
Ain't that the truth at least you know with mn fans you're getting a loyal partner 😂
I'm a Seahawk fan but i really appreciated the effort and spirit of this Vikings comeback, wow... impressive.
Such a great emotional game…. Good job Vikings!
Despite a huge amount of refball too!
Its unreal how quiet it was before that game winning field goal was kicked. 60,000 strong and you could've almost heard anything.
Right? Fans allowing the kicker to focus + some being anxious themselves
These announcers were truly terrible.
fr
I thought the announcers were good honestly. Nate Burleson is pretty solid, he played for the Vikings as well like 15 years ago.
Agree 100%.
They were tossing out cliche after cliche and then echoing each other. Just a shitshow.
Burleson kept trying to be the main commentator rather than color commentator in all the big moments
That scoop and score non fumble call with over 3 min to go was atrocious. It's amazing they overcame that after what happened
Well, THAT was AMAZING!! Well done, Vikes!!
As a colts fan this is sad and impressive
I have never seen an NFL team lay down and quit harder than the Colts.
the receivers during this are phenomenal
That deafening silence for the game winner
Blows my mind the Vikings were able to come back. Especially after a face mask on a return that would have gave them significant yards. And followed by an interception to end that drive with only 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter down 36-21.
That int was called back cuz the colts were holding. Therefore mn got possession again
Wow this is just amazing I can’t believe this omg this was a bomb ass game omg!!! Like they never gave up at all and they made it happen how nice
The fact that the refs didnt let the play go and review it after is just embarassing. That goes down as one of the worst calls ive seen
The game is never over until it hit 00.00...
Tra Blake’s crew was literally out to get the Vikings this game😂
There is zero chance that anyone claiming this nonsense has watched a single all 22 of a game ever.
God I LOVE this team. Even this year.....when things were not so great.
When Jefferson faked out Gilmore for his TD was prolly the filthiest move for a TD I’ve seen the last 10 years. Absolutely filthy from JJ lol
There were so many times they could have just given up, lost hope.
Matt Ryan is basically Eli Manning. He has slightly better stats in most catagories, but its very close. And both are best remembered for two games.
The difference is, Eli won twice as the underdog against the Goat. And will probably end up being first ballot HOF.
Ryan choked twice. First in the biggest comeback in SB history against the Patriots, and then again in this game, the largest comeback in regular season history. And he isnt going to be first ballot HOF.
Defenses letting the offense down by far doesn’t mean a QB choked. Just ludicrous putting that blame on the QB.
Eli won't get into the HOF.
What's forgotten about this game. Is the Vikings made the biggest comeback ever, despite the referees doing everything they could to screw them! Took away 14 legit points on defensive returns.
Didn't miss a play... when they got to seventeen points , I was like this is going to happen with the capt. Kirko never die attitude.
LOL....jus imagine all the buffoon fair weather fans who left right after the half and missed this magic show.
I remember watching this game and saying there was no way they would come back because classic Minnesota. I was so glad to be wrong.
GREAT JOB ALL...THANX 4 MAKING Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO the music worldwide.
LOVE YOU ALL...!!!....MUCH LOVE.!!
and wow....soooo cool.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember texting my friends in the first half encouraging them to watch the game because it was the poorest performance by a team I had ever seen. We were making fun of minnesota. They were unable to do anything in the first half and it was sad football.
I turned it off at halftime.
You can hear a pin drop before the kick
that "hut" at 3:13 😂
Mickey Mouse
The REAL winners were my Colts. This loss salvaged their tank job and helped them get the #4 pick in the draft. What did it do for Minnesota?
28-3, 33-0, I see a pattern here
I've seen the other greatest come back by the Buffalo Bills but this was amazing
Perfect example of only going for two when you absolutely positively need to. It drives me crazy watching coaches go for two and then don't make it. Taking one step forward and two steps back.
Imagine leaving this game early 😂😂😂
GREAT COMEBACK AND EVEN MORE GREAT DEFEAT
They deserve it. Being viking fan forever all the talent we've had over the years it's sad.
That’s crazy how quiet crowd got for last fg. They were into it
Never ever give up!!!
