I used to breed Kavats alot, there is a few other tricks you can use. The number of Kavats that spawn in groups is determined by your party size. If you get 1 other person in the mission they spawn in groups of 2s then 3s for 3 and 4 for 4s. Another little think you can do is using the Ballistica prime secondary kills with the weapon has a chance to spawn a "ghost" of the enemy for a few seconds that you can scan sometimes if you are fast enough.
Sine my internet is so bad, I do most activities solo. I enjoy taking my time and squeezing everything I can out of a run. This video was just to show people that you can get a lot of codes by yourself if you just develop a few good habits when go on runs and don't just rush to the end.
Thanks, but as a side note; imprinting isn't the only way to remove the vasca virus from ya kittys! Speak to the beast master in cetus n he will sell you a gear wheel item you can use on your kavat in mission to cure them 😊
I’ve wrote down the steps so many times to different alliance members in DMS that I must have thought it was gospel by now. It is however, the only way to get the Vasca onto an imprint so you can breed it, which is what I said in the recording. Sorry if there was confusion there, my bad.

There not that invisible I see a few packs every time I go looking for them most of the time I rest with equinox tyen kill enemies then get my scanner out you’ve just gotta check like your looking for the vault door 😂
If they are alerted to your presence, they will not be invisible but you are losing the stealth scan bonus codes. You get more codes if they are walking normally and even while they are invisible. You can do the scans anyway you want to but I was showing the most effective way to get codes. That’s the difference between getting 4-6 codes vs 12-16 codes per mission.
As I said, I was just showing an efficient way to get codes but it’s not the only way. When I farm for codes, I usually go for 400-500 codes before I stop and I’m not happy with run if I get less than 12 codes. Since I’m stuck in my ways about how I farm them, if you create a video of your method, I’ll post a link to it in this description so people have more than one farming method. Neither of us is wrong and it’s silly to argue about it.
Helios only scans for the codex, not for genetic code, he will only scan until the codex entry has been completed with "X" amount, usual 10 scans. You could use Synoid Heliocor to perform scans but that only works if they die from melee damage. If they die from status effect, it won't scan. You can choose anyway you want to do it but if you farm hundreds of genetic codes at a time like do, I don't fool with anything other than the Synthesis Scanner. Edit: verified the max number of scans for Kavats are 20, Helios will not scan them if you have more than that. I'm close to 1500 scans so that's not an option for me.

any tips for breeding a smeeta with a vasca head?
Its just rng. keep breeding until you get it. you can breed the same smeeta and vasca with all 33 imprints and can get 3 different looking cats

You could just be very lucky and only need that amount. I was on my alt account that just got to Steel Path. That may be the difference.
I use nova and slow everything down and farm that way. But I farm on normal
Slova would also be good but you can get more codes per scan if you scan enemies that don’t see you which is why I chose Ivara.

Imprinting is not the only way to get rid of the virus..u can ise the antidote too from Cetus
Pretty sure that the second part of that was remove & breed. I did mention master teansai to get the cure in there somewhere.
