I completely saw Porsche as being upset that not only did Kinn not acknowledge they had sex (so he felt like it didn't matter to Kinn) but maybe Porsche is slightly confused that he was with a man when generally he seems to maybe only sleep with women so he's working through that and feels more than he expected for Kinn. But if he thinks Kinn views him as just another object he can use and that the sex was "same ol' same ol'" for him and not special, that would make sense why Porsche's heart was broken and it hurt him so deeply. Most people immediately yelled rape when i'm over here like "did you not see the lust and sexual tension at every turn? Did you not hear the words, see the interactions, feel the desire between them?" Was Porsche 100% aware of everything? No! But he was groping and touching and even pulled Kinn in for a kiss and was upset when Kinn wouldn't let him, knowing full well it was Kinn. Kinn had been holding back and resisting most of that so there was a build-up during that scene. The series is just great though, so much to unpack and it's not all black n white either.
But Porsche was also drugged so he didn’t really have much control over his actions and kinn could’ve left or just not touched him at all since he was completely fine in the head
Amen, I agree with you 100%. Sometimes I wonder if we are all watching the same series. I mean, when Porsche could barely move or see because of the drug, he fought off the Vegas. When he was with Kinn, he was more aware of himself and what was happening. Trust me, I don't get the people who are jumping on the rape /nonconsensual band wagon. That scene had depth and complexity and that's everything that I wanted to see in this series. If they had a problem with this, I'm so concerned about how they will handle it when the Pete &Vegas storyline gets developed. Also, this series I think has been very upfront with what the story will be like so you know what you are going go get when you watch. This is a show about the mafia, the nature of their jobs makes them morally ambiguous!!!

Most of the show isn't black and white and there are plenty of shady things that happen * cue Vegas * but I feel like it's kind of a gray area when it comes to the scene with Kinn and Porsche and although Porsche was drugged, I feel like even though he wasn't entirely in control, his body reacted differently with Vegas vs Kinn and he responded to Kinn (who had had a drink or 2 at the diamond auction as well I believe) and even though it wasn't a great scenario, it was a very passionate moment and the next morning it seemed to me like Porsche was confused about his feelings and became sad once Kinn imnediately acted like it was no big deal and them punished him. We'll probably hear more from Porsche about how he felt about what happened at some point but I don't think it can clearly be seen as rape. Some people will be like "omg! He kissed her/him but they had a couple drinks so they can't fully consent so we hate it!" It can be a smidge dramatic at times and while I can understand some not liking it, because it is a grey area, I also don't view it as rape and I don't necessarily think Porsche feels that way either. Of course I only feel this way because I can see all angles leading up to it, but if it were my friend it happened to i'd probably feel differently, but as it stands.....yeah.
Yeah I was a little upset the first time I watched but I recognize how much he was wanting to make out with him that whole time. So rewatching and seeing people watch doesn't make me as uncomfortable as I was the first time.

Ep.6 In the novel, Kin Posh will escape into the forest and fall into the abyss for 3 days. It rains, Posh has a fever. Kin will hug Posh and take care of everything, make a fire, find food even though Kin is not very good at it. and there will be many cute moments 😁from Thailand

I wonder if they'll go into that much detail in the series, because for the morning after they omitted a lot. For those who have read the full novel, will notice they are pretty much sticking to the storyline but there are some differences, or parts not included. In the novel when the girl walks away from Porsche, Kinn comes in and they have another intimate moment, where after Porsche wants to go home and Vegas and Kinn argue over who will take him and in the end it's Kinn who drives him. I do love the changes they made in the series for this part though. The parallel between P and the girl and K and his boytoy, where they both have flashbacks was so well done. Can't wait for the rest

Yes! You get it! When he said "At least he hasn't harmed me..." talking about Vegas, and everybody thought he was talking about the sex...he was not, in my opinion. Porshe was heartbroken that Kinn treated him like they hadn't just f*cked the night before. Kinn punished Porsche AND was very cold and distant, and doing that to a man who is very confused about his deep feelings for another man was cruel. He just left him out there, to process it all. PLUS, he's seen a few men in his bedroom, and he's wondering what that means, because he doesn't want to be someone Kinn uses as a toy. A lot of emotion, and when Kinn curved him, instead of kissing him, and told him he was being replaced, it was evident he was hurt by that. But have no doubt "Round 2" would have happened if Kinn had gone there.

First, Happy Birthday Nolan! Second, I really felt for both Kinn and Porsche this episode, like, neither knew how to really address or move on from their night together, and them struggling with that was heartbreaking to watch.
Final note: When Porsche said the minor family treated him nicely, I was like, Sweetie they were this close to killing you after what you did to Macau...

I’m glad they didnt really brush over the fact that what Kinn did was basically some form of sexual assault since Porsche was drugged and they at least mentioned it a little. Im excited to see how they’re relationship will develop since they’re still handcuffed together lol

Exactly everyone has been so focused on that while it wasn’t consensual exactly they forget that there has been tension for days between Kinn and Porsche and even that night Kinns friends were trying to get him to be kinder to Porsche because they knew he liked him and were trying to get him to open up a bit. Yes you don’t just have sex with a drugged person BUT in reality this wasn’t just sex it was something more that they both had been craving and Vegas drugging Porsche sent them over that line they’d been teetering on.

I feel the same way about that night - Porsche was clearly aware of what was happening between Kinn and himself, he was initiating most of the flirting and the egging him on to have sex. It was Porsche (even high) who wanted Kinn and he made it very obvious through his words and actions. Yes he was high and wasn't completely himself but it was consensual and Kinn gave him many opportunities to back away and to just take a shower. The turmoil and pain he felt after that night was because Kinn never brought up the sex, and never talked to him about his feelings about that night. Kinn dismissed it and Porsche felt tossed aside like a boy toy and used. He was heartbroken, sad, confused, rejected and alone in his feelings for Kinn. Clearly he just wanted Kinn to care for him and ask him about his true feelings...I love that you guys talked about this topic.

I think they wanted it to be a one night stand sought of, and the are both stubborn to admit there have something b/n them they wants one of them to admit first.
I agree with Kent, there was tension b/n them in the first 3 episodes bcoz the show didn't drag them staring at each other like your typical bl shows, so some people don't see it and am glad the adults gets it.
25:40 they may be portraying it different from the novel, where Porsche absolutely despised Kinn for that night. A lot has been omitted from the morning after and also the scene at the bar with the girl, the events after have also been changed, because Kinn was also at the bar where they have another intimate scene in the bathroom stall then Kinn & Vegas have a confrontation outside the bar as to who will be taking Prosche home and it ends up being Kinn. Vegas and Porsche do go for a bike ride but it's not in the timeline they showed in the series. That being said, I'm loving the little changes so far
I think the changes were necessary for two reasons: 1. They can’t fit everything in 2. They had to make it more romantic and less toxic. In a way it’s a bit healthier. Thank you for not spoiling and discussing what has passed.
@@TitosOfTheWorld yes, it was also mentioned in an interview not to look at the book and the series to be exact same, for like you said, obvious reasons. One being the time and how graphic the novel is. So far, story timeline, it's been true to the book with the exception of Kim and Porchay who we find out in the novel a few chapters in that they already know and have a dislike for each other. They actually don't have many detailed parts in the book, same as TimeTay. Vegas Pete are special chapters outside the book as well. I'm pretty excited to watch it come to life on-screen and to see the changes they have made. As for spoilers, I usually don't like them myself, can't be helped in series I've read the books to 😂.
Since you mentioned it at the end, here are my 2 cents on the sex scene in ep 4: I never for a second thought it was noncon, but at the same time it wasn't technically fully consensual (because of the drug) either, so I see it as dubcon (and I have no problem with that in works of fiction; some people need to stop equating fictional stories with reality and thinking that just because someone is ok with a certain thing in fiction, they're also ok with it irl, because that's often _not_ the case). Like you, I definitely think part of the reason why Porsche was so upset in this episode was the fact that Kinn never acknowledged the sex (and in fact started treating Porsche worse than before), but (and this is where our opinions differ) I do actually think the other part was the fact that he didn't quite know how to feel about the sex (this is where the dubcon comes into play). Because the thing is, he clearly remembers instigating it and enjoying it in the moment when they were doing it, but he's also aware that he was _on drugs_ back then and therefore may not have been in control of himself (and he probably wouldn't have acted that way when sober). I think the issue is also that he didn't take any substances _knowingly_ (like he got drunk willingly and knowingly in ep 3 when they kissed), they were slipped to him, forced upon him against his will. So I think he feels conflicted about the sex because on one hand he did enjoy it (and wanted to be intimate with Kinn deep down) but on the other he was drugged during it. Then on top of that add the fact that this was his first time being with another man, and that this man never even acknowledged what happened between them (and was treating him in a cruel way, with the punishment and everything) and you get the emotional mess and bathroom breakdown.
I've seen people say that Porsche is oblivious to all the ways Kinn showed he cared about him previously when Porsche says "you never cared about me," but the thing is, from Porsche's perspective Kinn has been treating him like he cared _until_ they had sex, after which he switched his tone and started treating Porsche poorly (the punishment, the "you don't have to ask for permission for trivial things," replacing him with Ken... all of these things seemed like Kinn _didn't_ care, at least not anymore), so it's not surprising that Porsche felt like Kinn was only "nice" to him until he got what he wanted (the sex) and then tossed him aside like a used rag (and didn't have to be nice anymore, since he already got what he wanted). So idk, I understood that "You never cared about me" line not as Porsche never noticing the times Kinn cared before, but more as him thinking Kinn only _pretended_ to care all those times because he wanted to get something from him (that something being sex). So I do think Porsche felt like he got used/taken advantage of, except not in an "I got r*ped" way, but in a "you just used me for sex and then threw me aside" way.

I understand your take on this scene and it makes me want to add that another thing going through his mind is that he interprets his feelings for Kinn as a sign of weakness. I've read the first volume of the book and one of the things that stood out for me from their first time was how Porsche was caught up on the idea that they way Kinn makes him feel is a sign of weakness. It was a really painful struggle for him because he is very alpha except for the moments when he was with Kinn. In those moments he felt taken care of and treasured and he loved and hated it because in his mind it made him weak. He wasn't used to being taken care of and comforted because he was always the one comforting and taking care of others. Remember when Kinn brought him home and told him to take a day off and he responded something towards the effect of "I'm not weak." So Porsche has a lot running through his mind this episode...everything you said plus this idea of his feelings being a sign of weakness.
Right now I only like Porsche, Pete, chay, tankhun, Arm, Pol, Jom, and Tem everyone else I lovely wanna fight and happy birthday

My take, for what it’s worth, is Porsche feels he meant nothing to Kinn, when Porshe might not understand why yet, he is definitely affected by Kinn!
Apparently Kinn's fling was supposed to be Mile's ship for another BL that was cancelled. Porsche has problem reading people but that could be due to his need for attention since he never had anyone looking out for him except for Chay cause Vegas is definitely not someone to trust. Kinn has constantly protected Porsche from all the potential trouble he could get into but I think episode 6 will be the turning point for him to truly see Kinn and everything he has done.
Once again I like how Kinn even though he never gets to say it cause he is always interrupted by some shit when he thinks he does something wrong to Porsche just like he tried to address the kiss and he probably would have said something to Porsche about having sex but then his father messed with his head.
Also Chan, Korn's bodyguard is the MVP of bodyguard he took out that guy shooting at them and Pete is the best friend bodyguard we need.

@savanna8103 Lmao its the truth tho, if not most its almost all bl series having them karaoke singing but playing every instrument well not that am complaining or I don't enjoy it but for the most part them actually knowing how to sing helps us feel the emotion of the scene or the lyrics way better. But I realize that after Ingredients Jeff Singing (Top tier vocals he literally made thai language sound more beautiful in singing especially his enunciation of each word sound heavenly and smooth asf) other bl actors such as Jeff, Nanon, Nunew and now this guy are coming through with their singing.

Thank GOD someone else reads it as I do!! I literally almost thought I was a bad person for thinking Porche was not THAT upset or In Shook after the **x with Kinn... I mean we all saw how he missed him, how he wanted to feel that lingering feeling again and he felt upset and angry about the fact that Kinn, by "punishing him" (it was his father's order) "didn't show to care at all about him".
Cause like, WHO, after feeling disgusted by a se*ual intercourse they had "non consensually" (cause at the end of the day we all know that after the first kiss Porche was already feeling it), goes to the person that they're hating and ASKS for their PERMISSION to go out with FRIENDS???!!! He just wanted to see him again and see whether he would have said sorry to him. AND THE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! In his face when he NOT ONLY faced this "ICE COLD" man that didn't seem to care at all after all the kisses and the feels THEY HAD FELT (cause if you notice the scene where Porche's in the bathroom he recalls only the scenes where he was being kissed with love and when he was smiling and feeling good); BUT ALSO, the DISAPPOINTMENT in seeing he had "ALREADY MOOVED ONNN" !!! He was JEALOUSSSS almost as much as Kinn when he knew about Vegas.
And let me point out someone else's interpretation of the "I CAN'T SCENE" (that is my favourite interpretation of the scene so far): they said "CAUSE IT IS HARD TO CHEAT". PERIODDDD. I think this is a great interpretation, they were already feeling all this passion, love and jealousy for each other and they COULDN'T JUST move on. I think it was a reaffirmation and final confirmation of their feelings for each other.
And the fact that Porche's eyes looked soooo sad in the others scenes - just like PETE said HE WAS HEARTBROKEN, PERIOD - and after he got home he still woke up Kinn to "put him to bed", GURLL. Don't let me get started on that PERFECT SCENE when Porche INVITED Kinn to kiss him again like he did that night (with a little attitude because as he said he was hurt -by the fact that he was straight up ignoring him and his feelings-), I swear, he was CRAVING THOSE LIPS and he was CRAVING THAT D.
At last I'll just have to say HOW CUTE, I mean, HOW CUTE is Kinn going to the house to BRING HIM HOME / TO HIM. And Porche saying "You don't care about me! You never did!" as in "you don't tret me well and you were cheating on me, or worse, DO I EVEN MEAN ANYTHING to you?! You didn't feel NOTHING??!!" That was the level of HURT in his words I believe. If this ain't a quarrel of a married couple where the "wife" feels neglected and the "husb" has to get them back, I don't know what it is.
Imma close this mini essay with what, in my mere opinion, went through Porche's mind in the whole EP: "THE BEST S*X OF MY LIFE"
OMG I agree with you so much, I thought I was reading this situation so wrong. Thank u for letting me know I was the only one who thought Porsche felt that way.
Not to mention we already have precedence in how Porche would react if he felt violated. EP 2 Pete had to stop him from going to fight Kinn after Kinn choked him. You're absolutely spot on about the waking Kinn up scene! The gentle way he woke him up is not how you treat someone who you feel violated by.
The thing is people who made the distinction that Porche was assaulted need to ignore all of these indicators otherwise it brings into question what they're so adamant about!
THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING. ALL OF THIS. I love seeing other people who think the same way I do. They're already so far gone for each other and have no idea how to deal with it
I AGREE!!! And would like to add that Kinn is also going through his own struggles. I mean he is breaking all the rules because of his feelings for Porsche. I mean he ran to his house without PROTECTION!!! The way I see it he was so caught up in getting Porsche home that he didn't think about the risk to himself. BTW, in the scenes the scenes after their first time when Kinn tried to be with someone else... that was Kinn's way of trying to distance himself from Porsche because he realizes that his father had a point that he was making mistakes for one bodyguard when he is in charge of many. I mean it's too late because his feelings are too deep... that was the reason behind his coldness to Porsche.

Kinn says that Kim is the smartest one but so far I have been wondering if that's really true because I don't get why he is wasting his time investigating Porsche when Kinn's schedule was leaked before Porsche even met them. The night the leads met , Kinn was being chased by ppl who knew where he was so how is Porsche the mole when there was a mole even before Porsche joined the family? 🤔
Kim is definitely the smartest of the family- his board was giving hints as to what he is investigating. Tankhun also isn't as dumb as his crazy persona hints- behind the crazy he has moments where he knows what Kim is up to- he hinted as much in a round about way this ep when he was feeding the fish
I think it wasn't just about the mole thing that he wanted to investigate on Porsche it's more on wanting to know why his father took someone like Porsche, just like us Kim might be thinking what makes Porsche so special, something just don't add up. His father is so suspicious. 😅
