Hoping for the tutorial or sharing some knowledge on how to use a FACP (addressable and conventional). what's the purpose of some buttons there or how to set up once you done installing a fire alarm system??. I mean on standard aspects lang naman po hehe. Sana manotice malaking tulong po sakin ito since basic knowledge palang po nauumpisahan ko sa work 😊Thankyou po and Godbless.

My hard wired smoke alarms in my house are around 23yrs old, one smoke alarm will beep around once per minute for a few hours then stop, it does this a couple of times per week. It doesn't have a normal 9v battery, I'm not sure if it has a built in battery. Why does it beep on & off instead of a constant beeping? Also how do I test the smoke alarms? Cheers
Manufacturer's recommendation : smoke alarms must be replaced every 10 years as their reliability dropped. It's already a compliance regulation in Australia. In your case, it has a built in battery and it's surely low batt and can not recharged anymore. Cheers.
It if’s a newer smoke alarm, it is in a pre alarm mode. It will stop beeping once it sense no smoke inside. Or.. the battery is not fully connected or wrong connection.

Remove the old battery and replace it if the design is battery operated.

Well I messed up. I pulled mine down,detached the wire and the changed the battery, reatached it and its still beeping.
