How I understand 'loose' as opposed to being precise. It automatically brings more rhythm to your playing. Even 'wrong notes' sound good- may even sound better.
listen to Otis... its the boom chuck...thumb mute, delta, old country,palm mute, groove..bass notes...etc...I play every day and still searching for to get better....
