As locals to Vegas, each time that we watch your “on strip” videos makes us feel even better about visiting the off strip casinos and restaurants such as Station casinos along with downtown. Great food and cocktails, better gambling and all for a much better price. Thanks for sharing. The dessert looked great.
You're right, Las Vegas prices have skyrocketed lately, it's definitely not the budget-friendly destination it once was. Luckily, my MGM resort credits let me indulge at some of the pricier restaurants, otherwise it would be way out of my budget.
Great review. I'm glad you enjoyed your meal. I had dinner there a couple of months ago. As I was having steak a few of days later at Carversteak at Resorts World, I decided just to have a drink, French Onion Soup and the short ribs. While the soup was very good, unlike you, I was disappointed with the short ribs, which is a dish that I really appreciate. In Vegas restaurants, I would say that the short ribs at Craftsteak in the MGM are far superior. Also, like you, as a frequent visitor to Las Vegas, you can really see that food prices have increased far more than inflation. The price of fine dining is becoming more of a factor than the cost of a good hotel. I really like and appreciate your vids. Keep up the good work.
Another great vid. Thanks, we love your reviews, open, honest, amusing and genuine. That and spending four Benjamins on Steak n Salad so we can add another LV ‘need to go’ destination to our list! ❤
I went there shortly after they first opened and I loved it so much I went back the next night! The porterhouse was great! They used to have a Crème Cheesecake with a marshmallow pretzel and a chocolate coin with the Bugsy and Meyer's name in gold on it. It was so delicious, but that banana split cake looked awesome! Those salads looked uniquely delicious too. Guess I'll have to go outside my MGM bubble and make a trip back there!
Food looked great, was putting it on my list of places to try in Vegas....until you showed the bill - scratch that! And when did specialty drinks start costing as much as steaks - holy crap guys! Great video though, appreciate you both.
I just have a mental block spending ANY time at CET properties when at their “quarterly” shareholders call, it was announced that just to service their debt load is over $6 MILLION per DAY!
Love short rib! That looked delicious! Drinks looked great, and the tomahawk looked insane! May have to give Ol’ Bugsy and Meyer a try our next trip! Thanks for the vid!
The pricing is just getting out of control. I use all the ways possible to save money but really hard to justify $35 for a drink. I think maybe, just maybe, people are pulling back a bit. I was there a few weeks ago and certainly felt like it was a little slow for the time of year.
Looked like a really great meal, the Short Ribs looked so good. Just a little on the pricey side, I might need to win a jackpot before I decide to go there. Thanks as always for a great review 😊
We ate there a few years ago and we also enjoyed it. To date it is still the best mash potato purée (Yukon gold potato purée). It has to be more butter than potato so I wouldn’t say it was the healthiest 😂
I love Bugsy & Meyer's and was there in March. But the prices have increased dramatically since the last time I was there a year ago. Their french onion soup is one of the best I've had! Thanks for the video!
I appreciate you both sharing your experiences with us in your videos, it’s informative and entertaining. The sticker shock you are experiencing is very sad: Caesar’s properties especially are price gouging at their restaurants. This explains why so many of my Las Vegas meals are fast food I can’t get at home (love you, Raising Canes!) and cafes like Sadelle’s, Primrose and America.
I'm drooling over here watching this episode while I eat my salad for lunch...I also wanna dive into that Lobster Mac n Cheese like Scrooge McDuck does into his gold coins!
The fancy cocktails are just not a good value. Try a standard gin tonic with lime. The perfect summer drink. And those fancy cocktails will distort your sense of taste with the exotic juices. TJ Store Braised Beef, $15, and it can feed 2. Over rice. For your home cooking.
Those cocktails were definitely higher than other places - Suffice to say that we only showed off one for our video, and then left it at that. They were delicious cocktails though. The bill for us came out to over $350’ish but we did thankfully spend about $100 in Rewards Credits to whittle it down. The steak was really delightful though. And the Tomahawk looked so good but was definitely a bit pricier than we wanted to spend so we went with the short rib and the dry aged ribeye. But that Mac and Cheese looked amazing. Great video ❤ -Paul
Much of the high drink prices are a result the Caesars rewards program. They accept reward credit, plus if your a Diamond plus level, you qualify for 4 free drinks per day up to $25 per drink. Which is a good deal.
Yeah, the only reason I didn't freak out is because another yt channel dropped $450.00 for a meal at Paris. On a slightly different topic, could you please do more Overrated/Underrated videos? Thanks 😊
We have talked about doing something like that again. Our most expensive meal was pushing 1300 if I remember right. You should check that one out It was at Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand
It has gotten so ridiculous. I just paid $39.99 for a frozen pina colada at the Caesars pool cafe. Not even a good colada. I wasn’t paying too much attention or I would never had ordered it. Beware folks.
Hey kids ! Staying at Flamingo…sorry to hear that lol . Not one of my favorite properties. I have had dinner at this steakhouse once and I did enjoy it . Prices are getting a tad crazy though but what can ya do . On a side note I liked Josh’s shirt 😎😎😎
Yeah, every time I go (2 or 3 times a year) I shake my head and have sticker shock. I don't mind spending for quality, and understand strip markup.. lately though it feels more and more places are taking advantage and there's going to be a point where there is push back. Interesting that this week Picasso announced they are closing and rumors are Bazaar Meats is next. I know picasso is because Julian Serrano is retiring...but they could have found a way without him there every day. Eaten at both, and while not cheap, I didn't feel like I was over paying. Your last 2 reviews the prices made me cringe a bit.
Yea I think Caesars is a group we struggle with. Lots of their restaurants don’t have that special quality to them but they have the price tag that keeps rising
@@JoshRachael we really did have great service & the food was delicious, but we had a party of 24 or more seated near us & it was quite noisy. Maybe that’s why I’m so so about the place.
That could be. Reminds me of when we went to Stanton Social Prime and Carbone. Hated our experience mostly because of how loud and annoying other large bro tables were next to us
You pay the price when you go to a steak house in Vegas. You just about expect it. But if the food is good there can bee no complaints about the prices. Main thing the steak is cooked to your liking.
Everything looked amazing… I feel Tomohawks are overpriced, you are paying for the bone for no reason other than presentation. Order two 20 oz bone in rib eyes and have a midnight snack to take back to the room for the same price.
We have been talking lately about needing to try Sinatra again. When we went Rachael was coming down with some sickness and I think it threw us off. The only downside I remember was how loud it was inside there, but seems that is how pretty much everything is now.
Can this really be happening? J & R dining at a CE property and actually enjoying it?? What's next, sleeping in a CE resort?? Wait, what? You STAYED in the Flamingo?!?! Were you concerned that you might fall victim to, say, spontaneous combustion???
You said that this is your 25th time to Vegas in 4 years! Most of us can't make it there only 2 or 3 times in a lifetime...so it just annoys me to hear you sit in a fancy restaurant and (b) complain about the prices! You know it's expensive by now! And you're not doing people any favors by giving us a heads-up on the prices...we already know that it's expensive in Vegas! It seems like you're whining about what you get with your 'Gold Card'...that we always hear about! I'm out!
As locals to Vegas, each time that we watch your “on strip” videos makes us feel even better about visiting the off strip casinos and restaurants such as Station casinos along with downtown. Great food and cocktails, better gambling and all for a much better price. Thanks for sharing. The dessert looked great.
Nice! Prices getting crazy but we enjoy checking out new places
I just hate when the cocktails are half the price of an entree! I don't want my bar bill to be more than the food at an expensive steakhouse.
Totally agree with ya, it did keep us from getting a second drink during our dinners I guess.
You're right, Las Vegas prices have skyrocketed lately, it's definitely not the budget-friendly destination it once was. Luckily, my MGM resort credits let me indulge at some of the pricier restaurants, otherwise it would be way out of my budget.
Yea it’s getting crazier and crazier each time we go it seems

Inconsistent experiences in a place is frustrating!
Thanks for sharing this!

Nice!
25 trips to Vegas in 4 years! You guys need to get a place here. We made the move last year. Another good job with episode.
We like to travel many places but love having a home base where we have all 4 seasons!
Food looked great, was putting it on my list of places to try in Vegas....until you showed the bill - scratch that! And when did specialty drinks start costing as much as steaks - holy crap guys! Great video though, appreciate you both.
Thanks so much! Yea we were very sticker shocked by the price of drinks at Caesars properties this time around
The short rib looked fabulous. But is it possible to replace the pasta for mashed potatoes and gravy ?
Great question
I just have a mental block spending ANY time at CET properties when at their “quarterly” shareholders call, it was announced that just to service their debt load is over $6 MILLION per DAY!
Yikes 😳
Excellent video on the food here! Looks great! 🤗👀
Thank you 😋
Ohhhh the short rib looked amazing !Hell the Mac and cheese heckers ! Damn fine meal guys ! Another great video ! Thanks guys !
Haha thanks Kyle
How were the rooms @the Flamingo? Haven’t stayed their in years.
We were pretty surprised by it, there will be a full video 😃
I love Bugsy and Meyer's. Absolutely delicious every time we've eaten there and excellent service.
So glad to hear it’s consistent!! Thank you for sharing!
Love short rib! That looked delicious! Drinks looked great, and the tomahawk looked insane! May have to give Ol’ Bugsy and Meyer a try our next trip! Thanks for the vid!

You are probably right, it felt that way at both dinners for us
That steak looks incredible! Definitely splurging on this next time I'm at The Flamingo. Thanks for the mouthwatering review!
Our pleasure!!
Going back to Vegas in August for trip #21 in last 3 years. I appreciate your travel/food vids. ty
Awesome hope you have some good luck!
Oh man, that shortrib pasta looks amazing!
It was!
Outrageous prices, especially for a lower tier resort. I’ll skip it. You guys take the bullet for us! Thanks
🤣we do what we can
Looked like a really great meal, the Short Ribs looked so good. Just a little on the pricey side, I might need to win a jackpot before I decide to go there. Thanks as always for a great review 😊
As with most meals in Vegas lately! Thanks for watching Rach!
Holy Shit!. $400 for a meal. Great review but to dang expensive.
You ain’t wrong
We ate there a few years ago and we also enjoyed it. To date it is still the best mash potato purée (Yukon gold potato purée). It has to be more butter than potato so I wouldn’t say it was the healthiest 😂
That’s awesome
Looks like a world class meal!😊
Thanks Ron
Love your videos

Makes sense
Now that's a serious steak! Good to see this place is still doing well. Great video guys
Thanks Griffon, we have kind of fallen in love with Tomahawks lately, even made a couple at home.
I'm drooling over here watching this episode while I eat my salad for lunch...I also wanna dive into that Lobster Mac n Cheese like Scrooge McDuck does into his gold coins!
cheesiest mac and cheese we have had in Vegas easily
Liquor is the #biggestupsell in the hx of the world! You could buy a whole bottle for price of one cocktail!
If only I could take a bottle of booze into the restaurant with me
OMG - Yes Please!! I'm heading down there in less than a month, and I'm going to order a tomahawk!! Thank you!! Does it compare to Gordon's?
Thank you! We enjoyed this one over Gordon Ramsay Steak
@@JoshRachael Really? Interesting - okay thank you!

Thanks Paul! It adds up fast especially with cocktails!
agree on the med rare vs medium .Its too rare at medium rare now days Another great video
Seems that way when ordering on the bone lately

0:38 $24 for a salad… that’s a hard pass 😳
Fair
How much
Those prices are ridiculous. It doesn't even have nice ambience. It sounds like you're at food court in the mall.
I agree with you. We’ve eaten there before, & it was okay. Don’t think I’d go back.
We actually really enjoyed the dining room over the club like dining rooms that are all the rage

Las Vegas prices have just gotten to be total bull shit ! We need to have a complete depression and have many of these places to go bankrupt !
Maybe not bankrupt but bringing the prices down 20% would be nice

Many complaints about the 2024 prices across the Strip for rooms, food, drinks etc. Just shocking and I will find out a month from now.
Yea pretty ridiculous, just be ready so you don’t let it ruin your trip
Stupid prices.....would not pay
You would dine and dash?
5:50 🤤🤤
🤣
Wow $30.95 for your $25 cocktail? Did you ever find out what is it was?
It ended up being a Rum based Old Fashioned which explains why it went down so easily
Everything looked amazing… I

Yes and no depends on the cut. We find that the tomahawks tend to be thicker but could easily be wrong
Short rib at Sinatra was fricking insane

They can’t all be pitch black with club music playing
Another rip-off, but like they say, "there's a sucker born every minute", and Vegas just loves to pounce on suckers!!!

Outrageous prices and terrible ambience. No thank you
We actually liked the ambience more than most places lately
I think Vegas is nickel and diming people

Absolutely not! They actually wanted to charge for extra butter.
I guess we didn’t get extra butter to notice. Thanks for the heads up
