Non stop skiing from Top of Passo Salati chairlift 3000m to Alagna village 1200m. January 20, 2022 #Alagna #Olen #caffedelleguide #TheAlps.com #monterosa #Monterosaski
We di that run and througoughly enjoyed it, needs to be dun in the morning before it catches too much sun, it was slushy later on and late in the day, the shadow is a real problem. Great run though, one of the longest descents in the Alps.
You guys wouldn’t recognise Alanga today: at least a metre of snow on the top and 50cm in Alagna itself overnight!!! Great video: hoping to ski UP in the next few days
I used to drive 3 hours to ski on this, the shitty old gondola opens REALLY early (probably for the freeriders) and I could get a couple of runs before all the punters and families and easy going Italians would crowd in
I could watch this all day.
Great video. I am going there next week with my family - that is putting me in the mood!!
that slope looks so fun, its like you're just skiing alone in between huge, rocky mountains
