  • Part one. Taking a technical look into all things FOOD! on DayZ.
    In this episode we finalise our journey with a spot of fishing, fresh water and marine and discuss both types of fishing traps.
    We round off with a spot of cooking 4 ways and discuss some of the dos and fonts of cooking.
    Finally we summarise all things FOOD - looted, grown, hunted, gathered, trapped or fished!

    If you're cooking, go boiled for hydration or baked for energy boost, go dried for longevity. NEVER overlook a boiled or dried mushroom in your life!!!

    So, cooking has been expanded upon. I knew already the tripod (with pot) and the stone oven, and, of course, the stickroast method. The firebarrel cooking/smoking is new, though. We had the firebarrel back then, but is was good for a little bit light and warmth.
    Edit: had a short look at your indoor cooking vid...back then we only had the Stone fireplace. That..fireplace... didn't work for cooking or heating...
