Hello mate, i did everything that u showed in the video but when i saved my cluster data into pc, and load it into dumpeditor i have like only 3 things avaialable, does it mean that my cluster cannot do needle sweep? I have VW Bora mk4 v6 with cluster 1j5920845a (R. VDO v09) if someone can help hmu please❤
You have IMMO2 instrument cluster, so that's the reason why it's not working. Needle sweep is only for newer instrument clusters (IMMO3). You can check it very simple: if the last number of the cluster (in your example 1j592084 5 a >> the 5 >> before a) is a 5 then you have IMMO2. If it's a 6 you have IMMO3.
Hello i am dealing with little problem my vag-k commander 2.5 full can identify my whole car but when i do "read" instrument cluster it will stop on second line of code And says "reading 00018" And stay there forever... I have it plugged in for 3hrs with no change. When i check "skip neg. Responses" it Will normally read all lines but when i load it to DashDump it will say that EEPROM Is not supported And that Is due to domě missing lines :/ any help with that? I am using kkl 409.1 cable for 10eur

Some have option right on vcds Adaptation Other then that all I know is to add it to the eeprom and see if they sweep I’ve never looked into which hardware versions support ot
hey i just did this on my 2002 golf alh and i lost my coolant temp , it made the immo light turn off , but then i reset the ecu and now the lights back and and no coolant temp, could you help me out?

@@ERAutomotive yes i switche dit to k-line, now i tried the EEPROM 1.19 and it said that my EEPROM is blocked :/ immo is okay, no error in VCDS

If the adaptation for your cluster is alrdy there yes
If not then you’ll need to order the blue kkl cable

If i am immo off from ecu, how can i find the pin from cluster. I have the half mfa cluster.
Read cluster eeprom and check the pin in eeprom
Or use software that can read cluster and check pin

Yeah it’s only compatible with certain software versions of the cluster

@@ERAutomotive I had the ALH style and j swapped this for the brushed one at the scrap LOL yeah sucks
If the alh one is vdo try it on that one and swap the foils (faces)

But it’s all about the version of software that’s on the cluster that matters
