Your leatherwork is amazing, and I'm very impressed with your videography. I do leathercraft as well, but I have never seen anyone spend so much time on such a small leather object. I guess I have a lot to learn. Thanks.

Love how you talk us through the tutourial it helps hear about the little nuances and trickier parts to crafting a piece beforehand.
Loved the bit about it being a b*tch to attach the strap.😂 That phrass can be applied to a hell of a lot of things in crafting

    What a lovely wee project.
I’d been racking my brain, thinking what to make my Niece for Christmas. She’s repeatedly lost her door key.❤

I’ve only done small leather projects from kits at a veterans craft shop. This makes it way more interesting and you do such a great job from what I’ve seen so far. ❤

TIL that leather can be both chrome and veg tanned! Thanks for the info.
This is a great little project I'll have to try out. I'm imagining a slightly bigger version as gifts for all the people in my life with those new key fobs.
As with all your other videos, the final product was not only well done, but the video was a great demonstration.

Very informative as usual, thanks Will. I'm also currently having a love affair with Novanappa (Barenia) although I don't buy from HAAS as they have (or had) a ridiculous minimum order on the leather, I couldn't justify that kind of cost at the time. It would be really insightful if you could do a video on just this leather....it's gorgeous oiled texture, how easily it marks! and how it develops the best patina of any leather I know and about HAAS itself as a tannery is interesting...

Well I'm not gonna say it under every video but man, did your video quality improve significantly. These clochettes are lovely, gonna try it myself.
Dunno if you've done so already but if you've got the time do you think you could slip in some tips on how to cut leather laces without the lace maker tool ? Got the feeling you'd know an easy and efficient method for doing so.
