Yes you can! It's a little more work but delicious! Just peel and core and cut up about 4-5 medium to large apples. In a medium sauce pan melt 2 Tbsps of butter and 1 Tbsp of cinnamon. Then add in your apples and 3 Tbsps of water and 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Stir often on medium low heat until apples are softening but not mushy. Then in a little bowl make a slurry- 2 Tbsps of cornstarch and 2 Tbsps of cool water. Mix up and add to your pan of apples cook another 4-5 minutes on medium heat until apples are nice and soft and sauce has thickened. Done Enjoy!💞
Yes!..😊 I have used soft room temperature cream cheese and it was good! Just make sure you put it on top of the apple filling and it's room temperature. Put little chunks everywhere and then add your cinnamon, cake mix, and butter..😊 Happy Cooking and baking!🥰
