Thanks for the video, I was in Pattaya for 6 months last 2023 and my monthly budget was $3K per month. I didn't eat any farang food only Thai food and going out for entertainment 3x a week. I am looking coming back & in my early 50s, possibly retiring in the late 2025 or early 2026.
Did you get the Heathland coupon? They will sell you like a booklet (10 coupons?) You will get like 50B? discount compared to paying with cash. It’s a good deal because you will use it every week anyway. They usually don’t tell about the coupons unless you ask so tell them you wanna buy coupons. You have to pay for all coupons up front though. It applies only for 2-hour traditional Thai massage and valid for 1 year.
Tony my boyyy. Wow i used to watch 4305 in the MS merchant days. I guess yoh carried some investment skills irl too lolol Guess what, my wife and I are living in Bangkok too, near petchaburi MRT station. Are you still here? We love it here, so much more than Canada(especially the winter)
@@ezEricZhang that's great! Hope you guys get it! I'm looking to get dtv for my wife as well, but I think we have to apply from outside the country. Are you working here?
@Onemadtony oh haha we already got it in Canada before coming here. I meant I hope we can stay longer after the 1 year lease, depending on different circumstances. I do work in the evenings online. Its pretty chill here 😎
@@LivingTheDream21 I used to work in higher end retail sales, Linda used to work as an admin in hospital. I think it's a combination of aggressive saving and some luck in the bull market the past few years.
@@TempehGoreng idk If i should share the amount, but we were a bit more on the dividend focused side. The distribution and dividends were enough to covered our living expense with some flexibility when we decided to pull the plug. Hope this helps!
Early retiree?? Really?? You guys look so young to be retiring! Super bless to be able to retire at such a young age! Not retire like everyone else in their 60s and 70s when they have no more mobility! How old r u guys? Just curious cause when you hear people retire is when they are super old already.
Hi thank you haha. We are in our mid-late 30s. I think a lot of it has to do with compromise and making sacrifices early on, combining it with some luck. Also its not crazy fancy life, but its enough for a modest one. Also worse come to worse you can always get another job, but we only have one life!
@ Man! U are 100% right! We only have 1 life!! We can never get our precious time back!! You guys look younger than mid to late 30s! Asians doesn’t really get old fast! U guys are still young and live it up!! 40s is still young also! U guys are starting early and I wish u the best!!!!! I will subscribe and will be watching your journey!
Thai here. Health Land is a bit upscale but standard is very high and the place is super clean. You hardly will get a “bad” massager there. I usually have a local massage places near where I live as well in case I don’t wanna drive to Health Land. They charged about 400-500 per two hours of Thai massage. You gotta walk around your area (or read from Google reviews) try them out. If you find a good massager you like, write his/her name down. Next time, you call and book his/her name before you go and you are set. Tell them beforehand if you want “nuad nak nak” (hard massage) so they can give you a person who can do that if she/he is available.

That's a good budget with a lot of room to explore I think. Western food definitely cost premium here
I love every part of this vlog so happy we can continue to grow our investments together so we have more options to live our life 😊

@@thojiro oh shoot I didn't even know this exist! Is it for aroma therapy as well? We tried the Thai massage but didn't like it as much
@ not sure. You can ask them. I think they have a separate promotion for aroma. They may popup on their FB or Line.
@thojiro I will, thank you!
Thanks for sharing your budget with all the goodies of your lifestyle

@Onemadtony we're renting our place here for a year. Hoping to stay longer with DTV. Maybe I'll see you around! 😉

@ezEricZhang amazing! Glad to hear haha. Bangkok seems like a permanent renters market. I'm sure you can strike a deal with the landlord!
What did you use to do? How did you retire so early?
