I agree with your ranking almost bang on, Cognac Sable is also my very most favourite, there really isn’t anything quite like it, though the Pat McGrath bronze seduction palette is very close, or was it bronze ambition? Our quad collections are spookily similar in size and colours though I have fewer pinks and purples than you (I look like a white lab mouse with pink near my eyes) and more brown/gold/copper/bronze, I’m surprised you don’t have orchid haze. I was so glad to see leopard sun swatched on you, thank you, it’s off my wishlist now because the strong colours are too strong and the softer ones are too similar to others i have. I didn’t think I’d ever waver from my TF quad devotion but Pat McGrath palettes are slowly creeping up in number on my dressing table and I must admit that I don’t get quite as excited by TF launches as once I did. I found you thanks to the INCREDIBLY brilliant Cate the Great and I’m delighted I did, I agree with so many of your opinions and as I buy nearly all my beauty online it can be risky when you’re throwing serious cash at it, now I have you to guide me! Great video, am enjoying binging your back catalogue, thank you.

The timely part of the goals can be set up as discreet increments of the goal so that you can do an assessment of your progress at any point. I tend to break the goal into monthly or weekly targets and the try to make a daily habit goal that gets me in the routine of working in the right direction. Accountability is my downfall. I definitely need someone to keep me accountable. My goals for the year are to downsize - myself (weight) and my stuff, and to enjoy what I have already. I think I have enough yarn and needlework projects in the queue to last a long, long time.

I have 7 TF quads, my absolute favorite is Orchid Haze, which you don't have but I have a feeling that you would like it. My second favorite is Disco Dust because it is versatile, fit for both day and night, and the darkest shade turned out to be a perfect purple-ish brown eyeliner to me. I need some more time to figure out how do Day Dream, African Violet and Leopard Sun compare to Honeymoon. AlthoughI really like the shaded, I do find myself seldom reach for Seductive Rose, so it is ranked the lowest for me.
I think Daydream is much cooler, African Violet is brighter with a very different texture and Leopard Sun is more brown-y vs the purple-y in Honeymoon. They're all beautiful! 😃😂

FWIW, I have both and use TF more often. It's easy, fewer choices, less confusion. I will say the quality of the shadows is quite similar. So if you want choices, VNM is the way to go.
I have and love disco dust and coco mirage...✨upon your recommendation. They are both stunning in performance and in the pans. I like the coco mirage best so far. Abby Bliss White ranked disco dust as her favorite TF quad.

I played with them at Nordstrom and didn’t get the hype either, in fact found it to not swatch well (when compared to ABH, Clinique, Jaclyn Hill and cream shadows I have-mostly I just swipe a cream in because I don’t like spending too much time on that area). However I think his color stories are beautiful and make sense for a whole look, whereas you can look at a lot of palettes nowadays and not know what to do with it alone. Aniko (an older lady, I think she’s perhaps Slavic?) does a comparison between a orchid TF and the new Chanel pink le blanc palette and even though the TF looked better on her skin tone you could tell the shadows had muddied compared to Chanel
I have not gotten along with mine either- though I keep buying them because they look so pretty. I think there is just too much sparkle for me in most of them.
yes i have always heard people rave about them...and it's nice to see Michele really enjoys them but i like my shades to be pigmented and vibrant and these just seem much more subtle.. might just not be for me...xx

I love cocoa mirage!! I have many neutral palettes but the light brown in this palette is special. It just matches my skin tone so well and it goes well with most eye looks I wear on a daily basis.

I am a non-nude person, but after a counter made a look on me with Honeymoon for fun, I was sold. The colours suited my skin so perfect! After bought it, I have one of the two in the bottom row in every look I wear...pink, green, blue, purple...works for everything: If I want to warm up a look I take the redish one, if I want to creat contrast on the lower lash line or depth I take the darkest one, if I have a dark plum cream eyeshadow I put the golden one as a topper, ect. Even if I use it everyday for 2years it still look just lightly used so I don't need to stock up! Nude dip turning ice cold on me and therefore I never use it or just if I want to make a look more cool. How is Daydream compare to Viseart's Liaison in brightness, coolness, ect?
I think Daydream when used wet has the same impact as that silver shade in the Liaison palette. The Daydream has a bit more of a blue tone to it overall. I think Liaison is a bit more versatile since it has the mattes in there. But every single shade in Daydream has a lot of shiny and bright impact.

Margaret Lane I’m a die-hard gold-beige neutral colors fan. I tried Honeymoon for the first time yesterday... wasn’t completely convinced at first as the wine color is something out of my comfort zone😅 Then I went for shopping & movie, 2 strangers at the cinema said “gosh you’ve beautiful eyes and love your eye make up, what color?” Went straight back to TF and bought this baby back 🤣!
Woohoo! I own but one Tom Ford quad that I bought years ago, and it’s Cognac Sable! I have come so close to buying Cocoa Mirage, Virgin Orchid, and the Honeymoon quad but just haven’t pulled the trigger. Is Cocoa Mirage truly worth it if you already have a ton of high quality neutral/brown shadows? Every Sephora VIB sale I put Cocoa Mirage in my cart and then end up removing it. (I’m totally laughing at myself right now; whatever will I do about Cocoa Mirage? Should I buy a different Tom Ford quad? Such problems!) Thanks so much for another great video!
Oh! Just wanted to mention, in case anyone is looking to pick up Honeymoon, it is at Nordstrom for $100 but includes the #12 brush which retails for $56 so basically you are getting that brush for $12. It all comes in a huge and nice hard sided textured Tom Ford box as well 🤗
My local CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet) recently had 10 of the older TF quads, and the day I went they were an additional 40% off! I can’t remember the final price, it was around $36-$39 each. I didn’t end up getting any, but seriously considered Golden Minx (afraid it was too light and wish it only had one topper) and Cocoa Mirage (owned before and didn’t love). They didn’t have Honeymoon (my fave), but had a lot of the older grey, purple, green quads. I’m now stalking them for old TF natural bristle brushes, I was able to pick the cream foundation brush for ~$35, so keep an eye out at your local CCO if you have one!
mortypickles I prefer a shimmer/satin on my lids. Like you, I debated forever on it and finally purchased it, wore it once with just a “meh” feeling and ended up returning. If the bottom left shade was lighter, I might have considered it a good everyday quad, but it was more muddy on me and I couldn’t justify it for the price (I have 8 other TF quads). I know a lot of people LOVE this one though, so it might be great for you :)

I like to use MAC Fix +, and wet the brush and go into the shadow.

Normally I’m surprised at the lack of awareness the counter folks have with TH-cam influencers (barneys et. al). However, my associate said “have you watched Michelle Wang?.” 😊❤️💄 of course my answer was YASSSSSS

Margaret Lane I’m a die-hard gold-beige neutral colors fan. I tried Honeymoon for the first time yesterday... wasn’t completely convinced at first as the wine color is something out of my comfort zone😅 Then I went for shopping & movie, 2 strangers at the cinema said “gosh you’ve beautiful eyes and love your eye make up, what color?”
Went straight back to TF and bought this baby back 🤣!

Woohoo! I own but one Tom Ford quad that I bought years ago, and it’s Cognac Sable! I have come so close to buying Cocoa Mirage, Virgin Orchid, and the Honeymoon quad but just haven’t pulled the trigger. Is Cocoa Mirage truly worth it if you already have a ton of high quality neutral/brown shadows? Every Sephora VIB sale I put Cocoa Mirage in my cart and then end up removing it. (I’m totally laughing at myself right now; whatever will I do about Cocoa Mirage? Should I buy a different Tom Ford quad? Such problems!) Thanks so much for another great video!

Oh! Just wanted to mention, in case anyone is looking to pick up Honeymoon, it is at Nordstrom for $100 but includes the #12 brush which retails for $56 so basically you are getting that brush for $12. It all comes in a huge and nice hard sided textured Tom Ford box as well 🤗
My local CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet) recently had 10 of the older TF quads, and the day I went they were an additional 40% off! I can’t remember the final price, it was around $36-$39 each. I didn’t end up getting any, but seriously considered Golden Minx (afraid it was too light and wish it only had one topper) and Cocoa Mirage (owned before and didn’t love). They didn’t have Honeymoon (my fave), but had a lot of the older grey, purple, green quads. I’m now stalking them for old TF natural bristle brushes, I was able to pick the cream foundation brush for ~$35, so keep an eye out at your local CCO if you have one!
I would also say that the Viseart Theory Minx palette is more a somewhat dupe for Honeymoon :)
Curious why you don’t like Cocoa Mirage because I have been on the fence about buying it for ages.
mortypickles I prefer a shimmer/satin on my lids. Like you, I debated forever on it and finally purchased it, wore it once with just a “meh” feeling and ended up returning. If the bottom left shade was lighter, I might have considered it a good everyday quad, but it was more muddy on me and I couldn’t justify it for the price (I have 8 other TF quads). I know a lot of people LOVE this one though, so it might be great for you :)
