He has to make a leap in ball handling to me to be a superstar. Also improve his instincts on D. If he can make a Jaylen Brown type leap with his ballhandling he can be dangerous. To be a superstar from the perimeter nowadays you have to be able to navigate the pick n roll as a ball handler.
I've seen 72 Nuggets' games. He is rn one of the best of ball scorer in the league, on ball he struggles too much. Outside straight lines on closeouts and hesi pull-ups he seems to lost rhythm when he dribbles. I want to see him uses more his physical tools for posting up player especially on the switch. From his first season he improved as a passer, Malone uses MPJ in SLOB action as a passer for the cutter so he learns how and when he can pass the ball.
He was never an off-ball scorer growing up. The reason he's such a great off-ball scorer is cause the dude puts the work in and that's what the team needed him to be. No doubt he's going to be better this season.
You should do kpj next. With Wall now gone he’ll get full reps at pg. last year when he got that he averaged 19/7.5 at just 20 years old. Great vid tho!
Is he gonna burn me if I pick him in 3rd round of fantasy this year or is he going to be a superstar ? I cant quite decide if where he is going in mocks is the too high or not. In his career, I would be shocked if he isnt an all-star. He is quite polished in a lot of areas.
I think late 2nd round to 3rd round is a solid spot for MPJ. He's a guaranteed 2nd option for Denver where the first option would rather pass than score. If MPJ is cooking, Jokic would rather feed than get his.
Try being a clippers fan on 2018 draft night. 😖 Like wtf were the clippers thinking taking Jerome Robinson. Like I was like was he even better than trevon Duvall? Now the clippers passed up sharife cooper but atleast Preston showed that he can be solid but still should’ve been sharife.
You think he’s a superstar or he will be a superstar I think he is this is coming from a spurs fan I’ve seen highlights and man I got to give it to the kids he is a beast
Personally I think the nuggets could be a superteam if they let MPJ be the first scoring option and let murray be the secondary scorer and then u still have the MVP Jokic as a third option still running the offense.
Silky smooth jumper with great form as well, dribbles above average for his size gets to his spots with great ease I love the Tmac comparison I can see it great player breakdown 🫡
If porter comes back with handles like Tatum or Ingram the league better watch out. With his defense, he'll probably never be a great perimeter defender. He is 6'10, hopefully he could excell as a weak side defender
Content has been excellent for a while now. Your non draft videos have been great. Instant click every time
This video is amazing would love to see more in depth film on stuff like this in the season.
People are sleeping on the nuggets , their roster is stacked once again and if mpj takes another leap then they might win it all
No too many injuries

MPJ is a very good rebounder and a great offensive scorer
Good vid as always

I love how u put Tmac in the thumbnail he plays just like him
My fave player to watch rn. If he gets a good handle, it’s over.

I expect 22-24 ppg 8-10 reb this year. Best young scoring prospect in the league.
This is a great breakdown 👌

If he stays healthy. Superstar indeed. Wanted my Wizards to get him so bad draft day 2018
The fact that we were one pick away from getting him pisses me off lol.

@@ClipK74 I loved the clips draft this year actually but yeah they missed big in the past
@@lnd1998 I felt they kinda missed big by passing up Sharife but again like I said Preston does have talent n a nice story. What do u think tho?

I made a really similar breakdown on my channel. Even the thumbnail is similar lol.
