as long as the photo(s) you used are free to re-use and you're not required to credit the creator, you CAN! it's always nice to link back to the original assets to support the content owners, it's up to you :)
Ok 💪🏿💪🏿 I would like to create a card game only, inside the game I want to put paid packages, in which there are cards with modified images of copyright free origin, in which case can I sell them within the app? as expansions? I do not know if you understood?
I get you, depending on where you get those photos from, reliable free stock websites will always have licensing terms and FAQs that you should read, it usually covers the T&C for using their images for different purposes, make sure you check that first. good luck :)

I'm not able to add the pictures to photoshop. It is saying "this file is not supported" do you have a solution?
Make sure the file is a supported image format: jpg, png etc...
