Powder takes up volume frequently and some manufactures account for this volume e.g, ceftriaxone reconstitutes with 19.2 ml SW rather than 20 ml of SW for a 2 gramer.

9.6 or 9.8 sterile water is all that is required to reconstitute 1 gram of cefazolin. Your technique would destroy your hands and wrist if you used this technique all day. You still have medication that has not dissolved in the vial.
