It's absolutely rediculous what you can do with these photos. You literally take bad phone snapshots to high end production just by editing. Incredible man. Keep em comming
@@uvaiskomath Look at 2:32 and tell me it's well composed bro lol. But yes of corse the comment was exaggerated to make the point clear that his editing is absolutely stunning. I've been working in graphic design for 8+ years and have contact with retouchers regularly / also retouch myself. SO I'm aware he doenst work with bad phone shots but raw camera data. They before and after resuls just make the original photo look like absolite crap and the after like professional brand material you know.
To dodge and burn you can create a separate layer, fill it with 50% gray and set to overlay mode. Apply dodge and burning tool as you always do. I find technique to have most of the control.
20:20 Wish I knew that earlier! How many times I tried to find the right part of the image to match the curvy line. I guess you learn new things all the time. Thanks for that!
I'm a car photographer with no photoshop knowledge (i use Lightroom most), been a month I'm watching your videos continuously. Thank-you damian! Greetings from India 🇮🇳🙌
Nice video. Just an FYI regarding the Lasso tool vs the Pen tool. Either works but you can make adjustments to your selection very easily with the Lasso tool by using the Quick Mask mode. I generally use it for a quick selection with less detail.
Hi Damian, that’s a very valuable content, I’m very happy to watch your videos. I have modified a car picture in a few hours, pausing the video, going backward and trying to figure out where the F*** were the features on the French version of photoshop :) I really thank you for sharing your professional knowledge. I really got surprised when seeing your original shot of the Audi SUV and the result (cf : blur section). It’s a great post prod that you are performing. Congratulations, your help is precious
So good reminiscing through your featured work in this video. The type R and the Jag in the wild (the second pic you posted on Instagram) are definitely my favourites. Thanks again for this video!
When shooting cars do you use a polariser and would you recommend using them for car shots / photography ? I find them an incredible tool to remove unwanted reflections and cut down on post production.
i do use it sparingly, sometimes it takes out too much reflection in the paint job, i like to rotate it and get multiple exposures and then stitch in photoshop
@@DamianPlisko thanks so much bro u deserve more sunscriber im beginner on this automotives shootings i dont photography automotives btw but i like i enjoy it so much i have my mom renault scenic french car i want to look it dope like u do on ur composition photos ❤
The one thing i cant get is how do some people get that satin finish on the car, so not metallic finish as shot but is more downtuned and satin instead.
Awesome video Damian ❤ thank you for sharing!
Moe Zainal thanks so much Moe!
Thanks both Action Scripter and Damian Plisko 🙂
There are very less people who actually share relevant information.

how did you create the orange effects on the porsche gt2rs picture?
from what i remember i just used a circle with heavy gaussian blur
dodge tool with luminosity blend mode eliminates saturation changes
Thank you for great tutorial! Please do more videos like this :)

Path tutorial next please brother ❤❤🙏 i subbed happy new year sir
Kri Sti thank you! Are you referring to drawing paths with the pen tool?
@@DamianPlisko i mean im do confuse how to use that path blur for motion blur cars u know what i mean path tool u mention in this video
Ahh ok I understand. I have a link to a tutorial which shows this. I believe it’s in part 2

Thanks mate, really good, I want get use to this universe.. it's really hard work but good result of Art.. thanks...
Manoel Antunes Martins Neto thank you for the positive comment :)
How do you get your pictures so clear like the first picture in the video (0:00)?
not sure what you mean?
Dont you use 50% grey layer for Dodge & Burn? That way you can always paint grey to go back if needed...
that is definitely one way to go about it for sure. I also sometimes just duplicate the layer and draw on top of that
@@DamianPlisko Never actually tried that duplicate layers. Have to try it and see if it does a difference!
I edit everything on my phone but looks like I’m gonna upgrade to PC to upgrade my photos👊🏼
How do you isolate the car with the motion blur filter, in order to have the effect applied only for the background?
please watch the video i linked in the description
The one thing i cant get is how do some people get that satin finish on the car, so not metallic finish as shot but is more downtuned and satin instead.
it all depends on the car colour, finish and surroundings, some colours turn out more satin
what is zoom in/out faster command? and draging pic left/right when you are using for example pen tool
Aleksa you hold spacebar when dragging and to zoom in and out you cold ctrl + and -
"Aaaah"
Subbed
Tony / LopezArts thank you!!
dude how to remove blur motion off car afrter bluring backgroung
Aleksa i teach this in my golf R video ;)
How about you learn to use your camera properly then shoot it to have motion blur ?
thats one way to do it, but sometimes due to time constraints, location etc. you have to be creative
is it normal it's not HD ?
You're still in the 360p squad ;).. Wait a few minutes, TH-cam needs to process it first..
TH-cam is still processing the video it should be 4k
Great video!
But you really need a faster Computer haha
lol. I just bought this imac, its top of the line. Not sure which part you're referring to?
0 dislikes! Wow
34 dislikes, who are these people ?
haha there's always haters.
slowest pc ive ever seen
it is a slow mac haha
