A wonderful collection ! Begonia Rex is native to where I come from , ie Assam . But these beauties shrivel off in the summer heat . They grow wild in the forest floor in slightly hilly areas . I have the Iron cross Begonia and a few other Rex varieties. But the hot plains weather does nothing for them . I do share your passion . But living in the Garden City does have its benefits , weather wise 😊

I think Assam has a similar climate like the place I live in, that is Dharwad. I had got an iron cross but lost it. I don't buy any plants though. I love to collect through exchanges. I have organised plant swaps the videos of which I have uploaded. You may like to view the same

You can apply bonemeal to the plant directly.
Sprinkle a little around the plant.
Do not make solution and spray
I have not yet tried propagation of orchids
