The hike in is amazing…and I thought I was cheating taking the ride out. But once you are up in the air seeing those views…it’s very clear that it’s worth the awesome experience to take the helicopter out at least once.
I remember when they would helicopter the Porta potty‘s out of that Canyon, poop would be sloshing and spilling all over the place because those toilets were filled higher than the toilet seat.
How do I google the location of the helicopter ride? thank you so much. I really want to visit Havasupai but I don't my knees can do the 10 miles hike in a day....
So it’s a bit of a gamble relying on the helicopter. There are no ways to reserve it in advance. You can show up with a permit and wait in line..but the locals get precedence over visitors. It’s never a guarantee. And as for actual location…you’ll see the helicopter pad close to the trailhead at hilltop. And the same goes for the pad in the village. There will be someone there managing a list and payments.
The hike in and out is way better!

Thanks for sharing this video , the flight out is worth it !
Yes! It’s so worth it. I really wanted to say that I hiked out but I had. I regrets when I sat down in that helicopter!
Do you still need a 3 nights minimum ($375) hiking permit if you take a helicopter to Havasu Falls ?
Yes, it would still be the 3 night ($375) but you don’t have to stay for the whole time. We actually left after 2 nights.
@The NotLostNomad $375 is just for one person, or is it for a group ? Thanks for your reply.
I like how you put a scripture at the end.
Thank you! I'm not perfect but I believe in that scripture and live by it! God is in control!

Haha…wow. That would be a sight to see. I wouldn’t want to be underneath that thing.
