I absolutely love this game. I got a platinum trophy 🏆 way back on the PS3! I used to grind this game too much. It still unfair how we did not get Sleeping Dogs 2.
God the amount of balls United Front Games had with killing off so many major characters in brutal ways… Including showing the main character getting brutally tortured as he screams loudly in pain ON SCREEN. This is the kind of shit that even GTA is super hesitant at doing.
Even though the torture scene shocks me to death and really hurts my feelings (i'm just 11), This is one of my favorite missions in the game since it's pretty intense
Jackie did not deserve any of this he thought being in the Sun On Yee was like in the movies making money getting the girls but in fact it ruined him mentally and physically after he shoot that guy that almost killed Wei he’s world fell apart he was just young kid that didn’t deserve any of that especially him getting tortured and killed
Jackie didn't know that life in the Triad was very harsh and was ready to die for his honor. Even Inspector Teng wanted to help Jackie so that he would return to the right path, but Jackie refused Teng's invitation until Jackie ended up being killed by his own Triad
Jackie deserves better than this and I still can't believe that they killed off poor Winton and Peggy from the wedding mission... they all deserved better than to meet those unfortunate fates and if only there was a way to save their lives! At least Wei avenged his poor deceased sister along with Mrs. Chu avenging his deceased son Winston by taking Johnny Ratface out herself and then using his body as cooking food. Yuck! She did take out Sam aka Dogeyes and the latter's fate was the same as Johnny's. Eww! Wei was injured and tortured by that sadistic evil bastard Mr. Tong until he fell unconscious after the torturing was done which was so hard, sad, and painful to watch. After Wei woke up, he wasn't happy at all, so he pretty much demolished all of those bad guys and eviscerated Mr. Tong with his own melee weapon justifiably and I don't blame him for that! Wei's brutal and crazy revenge was 100% fair, brutal, heroic, and so worth it since those bad guys were the ones started it and Wei had to finish it! I feel really sorry for Wei, Mrs. Chu, Winston, Jackie, and all of Wei's allies. A very gross and unusual, but highly effective environmental attack at 4:40-4:57 in the bathroom. Explosive triple kill! 10:19-10:23

Would have been nice to see her more in the game, would have made Jackie's story more emotional.
