Excellent teacher. An elder from Ghana gave me similar information in Los Angeles at the House of Africa. Linguistics is a great way to trace many details about a culture. The researcher gave historical context to the names. Amen, Canaan, Akan and Ghana revealing them as Kemetic word sounds. Let me stop. Thank you for sharing this. Im getting those books

I give credit to the elder for trying but unfortunately he's still greatly lacking and omitting important information in connecting the Akans to the ancient Egyptians. As a historian and linguist myself (with over 12 years of research under my belt) you have to make this information contextually makes sense otherwise the average Ghanian won't be able to understand and comprehend. This is why I decided to create a 15 hour educational series on my youtube channel titled "Afurakan origins of the Israelite Myth" where I Irrefutably unequivocally and emphatically prove that the Akans as well as other Afrakans were indeed the ancient Kammau (Egyptians). This is the first series on youtube or anywhere else that goes into the depths of who the ancient Egyptians were archeologically genetically culturally spiritually historiographically and cosmologically which is why it took me 15 hours to produce. My series is life changing for any TRUTH SEEKER as it not only proves conclusively who the ancient Egyptians were but also our collective identity as Afrakan people (ancient and contemporary). Meanwhile deconstructing and the entire bible by exposing the corruptions of its Afrakan origins and roots. I'll start by sharing PART 1 here th-cam.com/video/sDWEb60jdME/w-d-xo.html

@@siriusamunra Well this man has done a lot of works that your 15hours TH-cam video can’t be compared to. As you can see he’s very old right now and dying to breath. He actually started this on DVD’s when he was around his 30’s&40’s. He was more energetic and gave more examples and explanations in them videos and you can tell the old man sitting there is dying to breath.
He actually had videos of how the Akan were making shelters. The name of the tree that they actually used and how it was done, their names and a lot more. It is sad you won’t see them on TH-cam because he did it way before the TH-cam era.
You are doing a great job too so keep up the good work but this man has done more than you can imagine and I loved how he was translating the words from English and breaking them down to twi so I easily get confirmation from the grown men & women by simply asking do you know this name, have you heard this place, ever heard of this tree... Simple questions like that got my mum telling me about something she was told by her late father which ran back to some of the stories this man was talking about.

When it comes to linguistics, most west Africans tribes can trace their roots straight to egypt. Volta river is called Amu in Ewe. We have Amun Ra in Egypt. Nubia means is a common Ewe word meaning jealousy. In Ga, we have Nu (Water). Nun in Egyptian is related to water. Most west African languages have the same root. For instance, Ewe call neck, ekor. In Twi it is Ekong. Head= Eta in Ewe, in Twi it is Eti. Kill in Ewe is Wu. In Twi it is Kum. Look at the reverse, Die is Ku in Ewe, in Twi it is Wu. Actually, Ewes use 5 days a week in addition to the 7 days week calendar. Proof: We have ashigbe, which repeats every days. Ka in Egyptian is life force or spiritual double of a person.. We have agbeKa meaning life force in Ewe. Agbe= Life. Ka = force. Ka is also spiritual meaning, "dzoka".... there are many many more ........ THE LESSON: ALL WEST AFRICAN CAN CLAIM A HERITAGE IN EGYPT:LETS THINK PAN AFRICAN. LETS UNITE:

I speak kru and ( nu) also means water. Or to swim in water ku, in kru is also death, die or spirit depends. On word order and dialect variations because we have 22 subdualects. I heard once the San tribe / language . The lady said de wo, we say de wa or de wo also for hello or good morning. I heard this in Igbo too. Tho I am kru from Liberia, West Africa, I understand Igbo. That means Igbo is one the indigenous Kru languages that migrated further south why my people went west. But we are all still on the west coast of Africa.

Just because there are similar sounds between two languages, doesn't mean they are related or that there's any connection. What's important is of the *meaning* is the same, or can be traced to a shared root. If it's not, you can't prove a connection, it's just a stretch at that point.

Should one looks into the researches and works of Cheikh Anta-Diop in his books: "Negro Nations and Cultures" then " The African Origin of Civilization: Myth or Reality". Cheikh Anta-Diop, explained the anteriority, homogeneity and correlation between African languages and cultures since the Ancient Egypt. He retraced the lineage and how they dispersed through time and space. It is very interesting to see the artefacts, archaeological, historical, palaeontological evidences presented. First of all, we cannot just accept that Akans are from Ancient Egypt based on similarities of a few modern Akan words with Ancient Egyptian words.
Secondly, where is the archeological evidence? Where is the genetic evidence? Where is the linguistic evidence?
The Akan language doesn't even fall within the *Afro-Asiatic language group* like the Hausa, Fulani, and other Berber languages like Amazigh, Tuareg, Toucouleur, etc ...
The Akan language falls under the *Niger-Congo language group* which already disqualifies this "alleged wishful connection".
Worst of all the Akan language doesn't even fall under the same *Nilo-Sahelian language groups* like some North East African languages.
We need REAL scientific, linguistic, archaeological, anthropological and genetic evidence, NOT wishful pseudoscience, pseudo-doctrines and wishful emotional pseudo-historical conspiracies.

Indeed! Much credit to the elder for trying but unfortunately he's still greatly lacking and omitting important information in connecting the Akans to the ancient Egyptians. As a historian and linguist myself (with over 12 years of research under my belt) you have to make this information contextually makes sense otherwise the average Ghanian still won't be able to understand and comprehend. This is why I decided to create a 15 hour educational series on my youtube channel titled "Afurakan origins of the Israelite Myth" where I Irrefutably unequivocally and emphatically prove that the Akans as well as other Afrakans were indeed the ancient Kammau (Egyptians). According to Research and historians, all the land between middle east up to north Africa, were once the most rich fertilisers land, but due to climate change, which affected the landscape in that continent.
So black people use to live those areas and owns all the continent.. But the white people came to move them out.

@@healthylifestyleletshareid6060 That is a different issue from what we were talking about. It was about various sources saying the different things. Like, the common saying is that the Ghana Empire was founded by the Sonnike people which contradicts with what Opanin Osei is saying. Maybe he has a better explanation. Akans can also chose to trust their own historians than others.
However, I will still answer your question. I have actually heard the same thing your are saying from a very close relate from Ghana but not from other Akans. I think, it will be best for Akans to have their own country (and unite with the Akans in Ivory Coast) even without the problems you mentioned. This will also allow Akans to use Twi as their official language without any obstacle from people like the Ewes who always oppose that. Therefore, I think the government should allow the Ewes to get their independent.

And Nni or Ni is River or water. ,( we use N or or I ( for the letter I)
Kpasa or Gbasa .( K& G the same ). I have found similar of some words in Hebrew. Amharic.Igbo and Akan including latin.swahili and the San people of East Africa..and the sounds of Q and K in French or Spanish or portuguese and Igbo all means the same in KLA too.and the KANA..is a name in my language ( Kna or Knye) in our tradition leaders were also warriors kingdoms/ kings

Do not rely on text book proof. There have been some unwritten oral history passed down by our ancestors. Our ancient ancestors were masters or oral history/ story telling/ myth/ legends. Go back to scrolls in person. ,From fertile crescent, . Tigris/Euphrates/ Nile Rivers. Anwsan/ And Ethiopia/ current day day Kenya/ Gambia/ Zulu_ Kingdoms/ . The only sound proof I linked was my own personal DNA eventhough I was born and raised in West Africa.. And remember to stop being extremely intellectual. Our people were a long before white men came. Our people were also writing. [ The Vai / Gola scripts of West Africa. Africa's beginnings is beyond all spectrums. You will rum yourselves insane. Go listen to the old people man. I got most of this from my Father and my Grandmother including all the original names of places on the west coast. Because I descent from a tribe of sailors and warriors where skilled navigators on the Atlantic we called ot "Jlowein" or "Jlo:" and traded bronze/ grains gold/ herbs/ spices..with salt as a commodity then. At least three (3) of my ancestors over a thousand years or so across the Atlantic as sailors and have not been seen since...

Kofi, truth must be told, before the inception of the colonial powers into the African continent in the 16/17 century, the Akan kingdom comprises of about 9 tribes , ruling part of western, even parts of greater Accra, almost part of greater Accra was ruled by the Akan kingdom with their ruler coming from the Ashanti tribe. Tema was an Akan land overseeing by an appointee of the Ashanti king called Teiman. And the Accra people called it Tema . The kwahus, the akwapim, sefwi, Dagomba, akyeam, fanti, it was only the ewes, then. Anglo and part of the northern sector that was not under the Akan kingdom. The Akan kingdom spread all the way from the northern region throughout to the southern. For the colonial masters to break into the gold cost and be able to colonize the people they needed to break the core value that is binding the people and making them undefeated. Remember the Akan as a kingdom was able to fight and defeat the colonial master twice because they had the numbers and was a great force on the land. So the colonial masters formed alliance with the costal states and regions and convince them of helping them to gain their independence and freedom from the Akan kingdom and their ruler the Ashanti king so they can be of themselves and have their own kingdom and kings. And they agreed and so many of those tribes joined the colonial masters in the third war against the kingdom and the colonial master defeated and arrested the Ashanti king and took him to exile, and the kingdom started to break and fall apart. And many of the costal areas formed their own independent states including the akyeam part of the northern area and the Bono and sefwi’s.
When the colonial master saw that they have been able to break the unity and have arrested their ruler and saw the country was is disunity and of wars, they started initiating their evil agenda and that continued to the introduction of the slavery on the continent. Not only Ghana they divided and ruled, they did it throughout Africa. Thanks.

@UCclan78POhe-mUgoLn17NMw bro, the Akan kingdom was founded between the 13 and 14th century BC, that was when the kingdom was officially founded with the descending of the golden stool. Before the official founding of the Akan kingdom through the Okomfo Anokye, it should be put on record that there were rulers in the various Akan states(then) with various superior chief ruling their people separately. It is recorded that the Ashanti state lost their king and it became a “touch” as to who was going to succeed the deceased king, that was when the Okomfo Anokye met the founder of the Akan kingdom Nana Osei Tutu I at the Denkyira king Ntim Gyakari prison where he was held as a captive, and prophesied that he was the one who the gods have chosen the succeed his deceased uncle the king of the Asantis.
So must be put on record that Nana Osei Tutu I wasn’t the first king of the Ashanti state/ but was the first king of the Akan kingdom which he founded with Okomfo Anokye.
Secondly, before the 13th and 14th century when the official Akan kingdom was founded, the various states that came together to form the Akan kingdom was all having the rulers(kings). It was the kings of those states that sign the unity compact to form the Akan kingdom with their superior ruler coming from the Ashanti state(kingdom)

This interview brings up more question than answers. There might have been concepts that Western education has covered up and for that reason some very obvious landmarks about ancient Kemet seem to be absent. First is the system of recording events like writing. There is no record of writing of ancient Kemet as found in hieroglyphics. Most anthropologists make reference to a Cartouche which may refer to a king or ruler. It is admitted that after the conquest by the Greeks the people in Kemet could not relate to their own hieroglyphics. This is the effect of being ruled by a foreign power which takes away indigenous culture and replaces it with their own. Funeral practices of embalment and preserving the dead is also lacking. No reference is made to the great Pyramids of Kemet and there is an overlap with claims of Hebrew Israelites. The effluxion of time may also erode most cultural attributes. Trauma may also play a role in the lack of cultural artefacts commonly associated with Kemet. No reference was made to any linguistic connection to other people in the vicinity of Kemet to link the Akans at their present location. Yet we may not have the whole picture as there are other Akans in the Ivory Coast, which gives a good basis for connecting the people there and those in Ghana. Some further work may have to be done over a larger geographical area but unfortunately West Africa has been swamped by another power - the Arabs. They were also a source of trauma in the Arab slave trade.

This topic is very important to a lot of truth seekers but the connectivity of the historical account is not computing. The links that one may be looking for are; in a phenotype of a people, linguistic characterisation, in speech or written form, cultural links in food, marriage, birth, death, and kinship. The form of governance, rites of passage and the organisation of their societies among others. The role of women, food sources as in hunter gathers or organised farming?
What we know is the destruction of the ancient Eygptian civilization by different marauders and it may seem the Arab conquest has obliterated every vestige of recognisable historical artefact. Even by the time of the Greek invasion the ancient Egyptians could not read their own hieroglyphs. It is the most difficult inquiry in the history of the world.
All that can be done is patience and evaluation of the subject, which needs State support which is not pursued by governments of the sub-region even as we lament the need to translate the vast library of ancient Timbuktu.

This man is trying his best and should be encouraged, but his errors are many.
The fact that he couldn't cite any African pioneers in the field of Egyptology says a lot about his information which is diluted with his Christian faith.
    Few corrections and facts:
    1. The Orginal name of Egypt written by themselves in the papyrus was Kmt. Pronounced "kemet" which means black country or city. But the professor says " "kanan" without citing any source.
    2. The name Egypt truly comes from Greek but it doesn't mean "Black people". But he is right, Ethiopia means people with burnt faces
    3. The professor is confusing ancient Ghana with modern Ghana. Ancient Ghana begins in Mauritania and covers some parts of modern Ghana and the elites were Sunnikeh people not Akans.
    4. There's definitely a linguistic similarities between ancient Egyptian language and most African languages including Akan.
And it could mean two things: either most African languages derived from one mother dialect and spread or some West Africans physically migrated from the Nile Valley. Professor Bubakri Mursalam of the University of Dakar proved the latter to be right. Many groups migrated from North East Africa including Fulani people.

You are right, there are a lot of erroneous statements that he made. However there is evidence of cultural and linguistic linkages between the Kemetic people and the Akans. (There are also links to other West African groups ie Dogon etc)

He has done well to force Akan into everything. He seem to be forcing everything to agree with the Akan.
He mention " Ankra" instead of agreeing that it's a Ga name " Ankrah" he force it to be "Asare". How can Ankra beck a Asare?
    ...
He said the Gas are led by Priest (Wulomo) and so the Gas learnt it chieftaincy from the Akans. He seem to be a tribalistic researcher. If he has made his research without the Akan bias, he would have known, Every Ga chief is also a King, Priest and a Prophet.
Gas elevate the Kingship over the priesthood because the emphasis is place on the land and it's ownership. The owner of the land is called "Mantse".
    ...
In another area he forced the name "Amon" to be Akan, he forgets the Gas already have "Amon" as name.
This man will help himself if he does his research devoid of Akan bias.

@Anuaa Adadzewa Awotwe Surprised? The fact that someone is a Dr doesn't mean he/she knows everything there is to know. Have you asked him about his field of study? Have you inquired whether he is a Ph.D or MD? By the way, Opanin Osie in 18:13 said he doesn't think any academic work will come out of his work/research. If he believes in this research, why is he not putting it out there for a rigorous ACADEMIC test? This is just like the ADOS/Black American HOTEP huslers. What is the purpose of research? IF you have your findings, why not disseminate those findings in the academic sphere? There is no knowledge here.

Thanks.

This is why I decided to create a 15 hour educational series on my youtube channel titled "Afurakan origins of the Israelite Myth" where I Irrefutably unequivocally and emphatically prove that the Akans as well as other Afrakans were indeed the ancient Kammau (Egyptians). This is the first series on youtube or anywhere else that goes into the depths of who the ancient Egyptians were archeologically genetically culturally spiritually historiographically and cosmologically hence it's 15 hours long. My series is life changing for any TRUTH SEEKER as it not only proves conclusively who the ancient Egyptians were, but also our collective identity as Afrakan people (ancient and contemporary) meanwhile deconstructing the bible by exposing the corruptions of its Afrakan origins. This is sooooo far fetched!
You can't claim the Akan are ancient Egyptians based on similarities of words.
We need genetic evidence, and deep Anthropological and archeological evidence to prove this. NOT similarities of modern words with ancient words.

And mostly interestingly native American. ( north, south and central) Including Cuba, Columbia, venezuela, Mexico Puerto Rico over one thousand plus years..that was before the white men came. Now. Are you saying that the language we speak are not ancient lol our languages are new?

    • @patrickkuffour
      @patrickkuffour 2 ปีที่แล้ว

My name is Kuffour, same as the ancient king who built the first pyramid. The Caucasian will spell names wrong and we go with it.
They spelt it the way they want and understand it to favour them. This was done through out the entire Africa when names are concern.
This is how they have us fighting and disagreeing with each other
An example, I’m an akan and under akan I’m an Asante, which the English spelt wrong. They spelt it Ashanti. Which is on our map as we speak now.
Look at the map of Ghana and you will find that the word “Ashanti region”on it.
Ashanti is spelt wrong and pronounced wrong.
Why do you question and disagree but don’t question the Caucasian but you agree with them?

I think a lot of research is needed in this area. Because it seems most of the regular words in other ethnic groups that needs no explanations to understand happens to be a coded (elders language as we’ll put it in Ghana) in other ethnic groups. I have this hypothesis that all five ethnic groups in Ghana has come across each other before or had stayed in close proximity before dispersing and finally tracing each other again. I was watching an Egyptologist documentary and found the people of Anu or Anum being one of the first people to recorded as early dwellers of the land now known as Egypt. I don’t know how they’re related to the Anum (Akwamufie, Guans and close ties with Akans even sometimes referred to as Akans by people) which they’re one of the earliest people to arrive in Ghana or even together with other Guan states regarded as aborigines. The ties and blend between various ethnic groups with various Guan states, makes me believe the Guans might be the people all the ethnic groups that arrived in our location now (from Benin-Ivory coast) were looking for and the point of connection could be the very beginning of Egypt
