Shitty owners? They gave you 80 million to buy VVD, another 80 million, for Nunez, 60 million for Alisson and another 60 million for Gakpo. They also spent heavily on Diaz, Keita as well. @@sivaramlord9151 Liverpool's spending on players in last 5 years isn't 500 million btw and if you compare to other big clubs for the past years it wouldn't be much. My problem isn't mainly with FSG spending money it's because they only treat the club as a business they are not willing to take risks to improve the club.

We can only dream of such funds,which is why we have strike good deals, like Lewy on free or Musiala for 200K from Chelsea. Just check how much Liverpool has spent on Diaz, Jota, Nunez, Gakpo and Kanoute in the last 3 seasons.

As a Gooner I can say that squad depth is the problem, the first 11 is just immense but there is not too much on the bench & games will come thick & fast this season - any injury to a number of key players could derail us. I think it's a four horse race at the moment, Newcastle are not out of this.

I totally agree. People get angry when I say this but the main aim is to finish top 4. Can we win the league? yes, we certainly can. Can't think of a better opportunity than this season. Just hope all our players stay fit while we try recruit some this january. A win for united midweek against palace and against us next week will see them 3 points behind us. Back to back city wins will mean they'll be 2 points behind us as well. And Newcastle are not out of this at all. The title race is most certainly open.
