it was pretty frustrating reading the book...it was like “common!”, still the story got me some tears out since it remembered me of someone I used to know...
Feck it this was bloody hilarious! Got them both spot on. Marianne digging and questioning poor Connell, and his classic lines (that often drove me mad) “Dunno” “I suppose” haha 😂
It’s possible they didn’t have kids, or get married(because they don’t believe in marriage or something) but it definitely confirmed that they have been together a long time.
They’re still the same 🤣🤣 Love them! It’s so cute that they’re still have each other. No matter as a couple or as a friends. Hope that as a couple, but anyway they’re the soulmates. They were. They are. And they will. Always. It’s the only important thing. ❤️
Hahaha glad I found this...this will keep my mind get over normal people "hanging" ending from the book...so sad I can't watch and I can't find any site to watch the whole series...it's only available in UK
I feel like Captain America who no longer has any familiarity with the cultural references.. I'm sure it was a very good take on whatever 'Normal People' is.
This piece is just amusing, no more! There is a problem because the original story was so amazing & was better left as the original! It is never wise to try & improve it because so many watchers are so loyal to the original ending.
Tbh I took this series as more of a comedy, like ffs who goes to Trinity of all places to study English and when discussing the meaning behind literature and all that Connell just says ‘Well uhh... I dunno... I suppose I agree with yer wan over there.... yeah.... that’s it’
@@boston_octopus Because it’s the Harvard/ Yale equivalent in Ireland. It’s supposed to be a prestigious university in Ireland and so getting in there is kinda a big deal. Mainly smart people or just snobs attend the university just because of the reputation.
Well it's explained better in the book. Connel is very smart and his writings are very good, but he can't really expressing what he thinks through words.
the series capture the scenes in the novels quite exact th, even for the conversations. But yes, somehow i still need to read the book to fully understand what the real meaning and story about. For me the book is so deep and i love it. And so for the ending, bittersweet but i understand.
there is way too much healthy communication going on for this to be Marianne and Connell
Can we just take a second to appreciate how spot on their acting was...their facial expressions, tone, everything were exactly like Daisy and Paul's
Amrita-V Mohammed yeah sure was. 😃
The zoom on Connell's chain😂😂
IKR AHAHAHAHAHA
I see 😂😂
It's basically another character on the show, so that was great lol
To be fair, this is pretty much how they carry on in the actual show, with all of the passive aggressiveness and interruption that ensues! 🤣
Hahaha, yeah they do😂
@SavageArfad That's what 40 years going around in circles will do for you!😂
Hahaha 😂
beardedcollie39 🤣
it was pretty frustrating reading the book...it was like “common!”, still the story got me some tears out since it remembered me of someone I used to know...
the only unrealistic thing about this show is the fact that Marianne has kept the same hairstyle since she was a teenager
Ho trent’anni, ed ho lo stesso taglio di capelli dalla quinta elementare. Cosa c’è di irrealistico?
Feck it this was bloody hilarious! Got them both spot on. Marianne digging and questioning poor Connell, and his classic lines (that often drove me mad) “Dunno” “I suppose” haha 😂
Connel’s chain is the main cast of the sequel we all know that 🤣
As a 32-year-old woman and after sitting through this show, this is exactly what I needed lol
I'm 23 and still.. the show is pretentious at best
"Hungry?"
"I suppose..."
"Suppose what?"
"I don't no.."
"Oh.."
"I really don't know...I suppose"
Hahahaha
I wouldn’t even notice the difference if they slipped this in an episode
Just to make sure, this means Cornell and Marianne definitely got married and had kids right?
Dunno, I suppose?
I’m so relieved wow 😅
No, they are still figuring it out.
It’s possible they didn’t have kids, or get married(because they don’t believe in marriage or something) but it definitely confirmed that they have been together a long time.
This is all i need to be happy
"i suppose" and the older Connell faces... Best things.
This was so accurate for a moment, I was like, "Did they dub this?"
Oh, the sequel many fans want so much. It came pretty fast.
I just had to make sure Connell's chain was still there.
She’s still looking for her glasses... I suppose.
I don't know
The zoom in on the chain and glasses 😂
This was very funny and very welcome after that last episode. Thanks to everyone involved, you nailed it. :)
the highlight of this was the zoom on his chain
That is just a perfect thing to watch after the last episode!
They’re still the same 🤣🤣 Love them! It’s so cute that they’re still have each other. No matter as a couple or as a friends. Hope that as a couple, but anyway they’re the soulmates. They were. They are. And they will. Always. It’s the only important thing. ❤️
Good? I don't know.....I suppose.
Hahaha this is Marianne and Connell down to a tee.
SO THEY DID END UP TOGETHER. OH MY.
Glad nothing has changed in 40 years 🤣
They had me at I could smell the beans on toast.. Lol😂
They nailed it! 🖤
This is the most awkwardest thing I've ever watch
I'll tell you what's awkward: using "most" in front of a superlative form! It's something Rachel Moran's daughter would do.
Hahaha glad I found this...this will keep my mind get over normal people "hanging" ending from the book...so sad I can't watch and I can't find any site to watch the whole series...it's only available in UK
Admit it, it made you tear up again, didn't it?
Connells favourite words I suppose😂😂😂😂
Id love to see Older Normal People developed in a tv show… please ❤
This is the Canon ending for me now.
The chain got me 😂😂
This is the best thing I've ever seen 😂
Moon Boys Ma and Da doing a Tour De Force !!!!
When I saw the chain...
They are the couple from moone boy acting as marine and connell
I cried. It’s normal I suppose
I'm dyin 😂😂 this is so accurate
Perfection . Nailed it!
THE ZOOM IN ON THE NECKLACE AHAHAHHAAHAHA
This is my new favorite video
Absolutely amazing 😂
I'm aware... that this is brilliant, I suppose... :D
So we know marriane and connel did marry each other, i suppose
Omg this was SPOT ON 😂 👏
The Moone’s reunited!
Very adorable and successful 💚
Epic! I suppose.
Is that the lady from the movie intermission? If so, she aged so well.
Yep, Deirdre O'Kane just turned 50, yet she's aged like fine wine! 🍷😍
@@trinaq Do you think it's because she passed on the late night beans and toast all these years?
Yeah, one of Dublin’s finest👍🇮🇪
This is exactly the show 😂😂
take a shot for every "I suppose" with your friends!
THE NECKLACE LMAOOSJDJDJS
🤣🤣🤣 I would NEVER mind ❤️
This was brilliant :-). !!!

Moone Boys Mam and Dad😀😀😀😀
That was a great show!
I thought that was them! I was going to ask so thanks for posting so I didn’t have to ask. Loved Moone Boy💕still do❤️
I love it. thank you hulu
Well I dunno.... I suppose......I suppose that was funny
this is perfect!
😂 spot on
Where's the 5 minutes of riding?
When you're in your 40's-50s the goo goes off ya. A Mars bar and a cuppa tea. Yussssss
This is brilliant! I suppose...
Maybe “i suppose” will be our “always”
maybe i suppose will be our always
maybe I suppose can be our always
0:35 you're welcome ❤️
SPOT ON
Is no one talking about how Hulu is posting RTE content?
Its hulu's programme
It's not rtes content. It's not Irish made.
@Demo Gorgon Indeed it is, with hulu permission
@@keepingitreal.5539 Actually Hulu, BBC and RTE worked on the project. Hulu owns the rights in the US as its not available in Europe.
@@parsnipguy123 what's not available in Europe?
nailed it!
Connell's chain didn't age
I suppose... people 🤣
lols spot on!
How is this on trending when it has less than 200k views
How can I watch in UK?
I'm ashamed to say that I binge watched Abnormal People. It was SO cringe, it was good.
To me, it was a waste of time.
Brilliant
It is cute!
- i suppose?
- i suppose
Played by different actors.....I suppose. 😆
o my heart can't take it. older marianne and connell uggggg
Jesus christ this is hilarious
The chain.
Haha well played 👍🤣👏
I feel like Captain America who no longer has any familiarity with the cultural references.. I'm sure it was a very good take on whatever 'Normal People' is.
I don’t get this someone explain
Mariannae told Connell she loved him way too soon. Not accurate to the show 🤓 lol
Its imposible they argument each other
This piece is just amusing, no more! There is a problem because the original story was so amazing & was better left as the original! It is never wise to try & improve it because so many watchers are so loyal to the original ending.
This piece was ONLY meant to be amusing, no more! It was for a comedy sketch show called Comic Relief.
I suppose this is a good sketch 👍
thats hilarious!!
I hope there’s a second season.
Very good
Tbh I took this series as more of a comedy, like ffs who goes to Trinity of all places to study English and when discussing the meaning behind literature and all that Connell just says ‘Well uhh... I dunno... I suppose I agree with yer wan over there.... yeah.... that’s it’

@@elainemcguire Thank you, Throast!
@@boston_octopus no problem!!😉
Well it's explained better in the book. Connel is very smart and his writings are very good, but he can't really expressing what he thinks through words.
Way fun!!!
You know the book is actually really good. It just wasn't translated well
I thought the series was just as good, if not better than the book tbh.
No it really wasn't.
the series capture the scenes in the novels quite exact th, even for the conversations. But yes, somehow i still need to read the book to fully understand what the real meaning and story about. For me the book is so deep and i love it. And so for the ending, bittersweet but i understand.
I preferred the show to the book. The actors were excellent depicting the book. The show literally had dialogue right from the book as well. 😊
how can we watch this without living in ireland?
It’s free around the world on RTÉ.ie for a week
@SavageArfad VPNs don't work for RTE unfortunately
Torrent
i used a website called project free TV, lots of funky pop ups and whatnot but it gets the job done
the chain hahahha
