Wow people, grow up. Just because it doesn’t smell like cotton candy or fruit cocktail doesn’t mean it’s “old lady.” I think it smells very nice and elegant.
Seriously. I don't want to smell like a mango Popsicle. I like to smell elegant and bougie and grown :)
I smelled it the other day and really like it. Gonna wait for the next sale! I hate that people keep saying old lady scent 🤦🏾♀️ so offensive. It just smells a bit more mature but nothing wrong with that. We all have different tastes
I think Luminous is wonderful. I don’t understand why so many people expect and want BBW to keep repackaging the same generic sweet and soft scents year after year. They finally create a new more mature fragrance and it’s the end of the world? I don’t get it, but I’m definitely getting this whole collection. Perfect for Fall and Winter. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous!!🌟

LOL it's like dude for real though and how many times can they repackage champagne toast and strawberry poundcake in ONE YEAR??!! there was like one year a couple years ago they repackaged that one like 3 times in one year !! it was spring, fall and mother's day like wtf @@Nina513 🤣
I think Luminous is a pretty scent. I do not think it’s anything over the top amazing. It is a very mature scent with a very strong powdery dry down from the Iris note. Of course everyone’s chemistry will react differently. I personally would not recommend this scent as a gift unless you really know the person who you are purchasing this scent for and what their scent profile preferences are.
I personally like this scent! It smells very mature and it layers perfectly with Sensual Amber!
SA is my all time favorite. This is very much like it. I love them both!

I wish I loved Luminous as much as you do Bonnie, I can wear it, but it doesn’t smell like something I’d wear if that makes sense. It reminds me of Victor Rolf Flowerbomb and I never even finished my sample of that. It’s almost too fancy and mature for my taste. I’m fine with being labeled immature in my fragrance choices. 😄 I know people will love it though, it’s a quality scent, the perfume has staying power, and the packaging should draw some people in alone. I already have one person I know I will be gifting some of this collection to, so even though I won’t be adding this to my collection I will still be buying it for a Christmas gift.

Its Lancomes La Vie Est Belle. I have been wearing LVEB since 2014 and I got the purse size perfume put it on and i was shocked that it was so exactly LVEB. So when they discontinue this (like they do with everything)...Lancome has had your back all along.
THis isnt the first time BBW has done this. Beautiful day was DKNY Delicious...Bergamot Neroli is Tom Ford Portofino Neroli and over on the VS Side of things Very sexy sea is also portofino Neroli and their PINK scent was Lancomes Miracle. It will be nice to have a body wash of La Vie est Belle.
Oh please elaborate that Lancôme miracle dupe please? I love that and have it with me but I’d definitely like to have the whole collection in an affordable option
Oh my goodness Bonnie, I have done that before lol. This collection is amazing! I am glad I reevaluated this scent because my opinion changed immediately and I have been wearing all day and it’s it’s strong and pretty. Not too strong but strong as in staying power, which I love! Also this is one that got my husband’s attention and said he really likes on me lol. So this is a winner for sure! I just need another good sale for the glowtion!

Hi Bonnie! I picked up Luminous today in the full sized mist during the FFM sale. Here in Canada the mist sale was for $5.50 which was still a good deal as full sized mists are normally $17.50 Surprisingly, I do like this one. I thought I wouldn't like this one. It's a little powdery, but it's a warm fragrance with some sweetness. I think this one is a good one during the Christmas season. I also picked up two other mists. I was good. I'm now waiting for the Christmas body care to be released. I was able to smell some of the Christmas candles as well.

I tried the Luminous scent in the store today. It is really rich and a strong scent with staying power. I just used a small amount of the body cream on my hand and I can still smell it.

Hey Bonnie! I like this fragrance and it reminds me of another fragrance I had a while back but it wasn’t from BBW. It would be awesome if you would do a video on the Christmas fragrance launches the ones like this and Pure Wonder and Bright Crystal for as far back as you know 🙂 I am curious to know what they were.

I love luminous. The scent is very sophisticated, warm and sexy. This scent is lovely
I am so happy, finaly a perfume similar to "La vie est belle" without the heavy patchouli note.
I admit I didn’t like Luminous at first. I sprayed it every time I went in store before it was actually available and I just didn’t like it.
Now after a few weeks it’s grown on me and I’ve picked up the travel size spray, body cream and shower gel and the full size lotion 😂
I did the same thing with You’re The One. I didn’t like it at first but I was determined to love it so I just kept wearing it and it worked! I really like it now.
I can see why people say it smells “like a grandma” ha! I’m a grandma and I’m not offended. It’s just a more mature perfume type scent instead of the sweet, sugary or fruity scents that BBW does so much. I love those btw 😂 the display in store is gorgeous!!! Thanks for sharing Bonnie ❤
Just got my gift set of Luminous using the recent 20% flash sale - originally ordered a BOPIS travel but they emailed me certain items out of stock so cancelled it - and am so happy I got the full set. I too am a grandma and hate scents being referred to as old lady scents. I have a few gourmand scents BUT can't understand why you would wear something that belongs on your breakfast/dinner plate. If I want a waffle I go to IHop or fill my corn flakes with strawberries etc.

Smells just like that Lancome la vie est belle which ive never really liked and is more a mature scent. They both last long though so I guess thats a positive.

Aynsleyhasfaith reviewed this a few days ago & called it an 'old lady scent'. Now I am hearing that same phrase used to describe Luminous everywhere!
I'll have to try it myself to see if I like it. The packaging is amazing!

I don't find Luminous having an "old lady scent" It is a mature scent. It is a little powdery, but it's warm with the touch of sweetness. It's not as powdery let's say Japanese Cherry Blossom or Moonlit Path which I'm not a fan of any of these two. It's definitely an evening scent. I would smell this in store if you can and make the decision. Everyone has a different sense of smell and it's all about body chemistry.

Hey Bonnie & friends ! I just came back from BBW to pick up my order from yesterday sale and try to do an exchange for body mist for 5.50 and sales lady said { I couldn't do exchange and I would have to spend 18.95 for the mist ! So basically what they saying is once the promotion deals are over you can't exchange even if it's the same price so all sales are finale ? Anyway I plan on calling C.S tomorrow and probably will delete they online app so disappointed time to save my money !
So were you trying to exchange a product for $18.95 from the $5.50 sale? My understanding is you are able to do an even exchange on products with the same price.
Unfortunately they changed their policy. You can't exchange a sale price item for something that wasn't on sale. You would have to pay the diff. It has to be even exchange.
@@s.r6331 Wow, I had no idea! It’s very rare I do an exchange or return, but I see plenty of people do them and I didn’t know the policy had changed that drastically. Good to know for the future though.
@@s.r6331 It was on sale but BBW said the promotion was over and I would have to pay the differences of 13.dollars and another thing when ordering online look at your online pickup receipt to make sure it's the same price the as when you first placed the order online because they know chance are you may want to exchange .

It's called mature. And one day you are going to be an old lady. It's extremely offensive for you to refer to it like that when there are plenty of old folks in the world. You act like you are ageist. You could at least be nice and just call it mature. Or that it's just too grown up for you.
