Getting flamed for your kd when your getting stomped and it wasn’t your lanes fault the fed mid or safe is feeding on sups like a fat kid in a candy store.
Nobody ever rotating even when they dive t2 sub 5 minutes.
People not playing their roles because they think your not playing your role. (This one hurts)
early ggs from your team.
People giving up to just farm till the game ends.
People straight up leaving because they predict a loss or chain feeding because they gave up.
I started playing again recently now that I’m older and more emotionally stable LOL the magic of DOTA is still here, but there is no anger or tilting. Gotta change your mindset from the ground up to actually enjoy DOTA

Ah the obfuscated minimap, now we know how Grubby feels like when he plays dota. It feels quite terrifying actually, being blind.

It's so weird watching a game without a minimap. Every little while my eyes automatically move to check it for an overview, and then I remember that it's not there. Oh and every time there is a ping or nothing is happening on screen I look for minimap as well.
Now that I've gotten to the end, nice warding man, very persistent. Really sucked that you guys didn't have more than one player willing to play support. Oh and weaver-witchdoctor a very hard lane to survive as a squishy support with no escape and no stun. Both of whom are amongst my favorite heroes.

ghost scepter and glimmer cape is a good item against weaver and his q ability. it removes the bug on you instantly when u invis

I've learned that mindset plays a big factor. I tell myself that winning is just a bunos, learning the hard way is the goal.
basic tip as a support predict when a fight is about to start, no heros in other lanes on minimap, and stay behind ur cores just heal and grave from a distance never walk up to use ur q, unless its an advantageous situation

Ability draft could be such a fun game mode but every game seems like people are thinking it's TI or something.
Would be cool if you could unhide the minimap for youtube. Like Qojqva does it for example :-)

Grubby has good mindset in terms of protecting his team. But he should remember that he must also sometimes to protect himself. Buy escape items next time for yourself.

Honestly you played this match pretty well and whilst you died a lot I imagine there was a lot of learning in this game. Playing Dazzle against heroes like weaver/spectre and even WK with blink is very difficult and the enemy cores did a good job of focusing you first in fights. The only thing I would do different in this game is maybe skip aether lens to get something like a glimmer cape or ghost sceptre or just an earlier aeon disc so the enemy finds it harder to focus you - in a game where the enemy does not have so many ways to jump on you your build is perfect.

The problem with low ranked like is that people might be vastly different in strength in different objects. Someone might be mechanically bad but have perfect map vision or someone being mechanically great but have very bad decision making, rarely are people just overall mediocre in all aspects of the game.
Grubby i wish you the best ... the dota2 community has been plagued for so long by their toxicity and harshness of new players... hopefully it won't get to your skin ... i play in SEA and the people here don't hold back even when it's unranked. Like many games there's always that one rotten apple that spreads its rot. It almost made me quit ... but a week ago i started playing after seeing such a wholesome guy playing a game known for its harshness. I played 4 unranked game and realise how fun it is when a team is just positive. Sorry if my English is bad ain't my first language hahaha tbh I'm also bad with my native language hahahah
You virgins never played HoN ,now that's a proper toxic community where toxic behaviour is a must, but you get better and more competitive...No wonder all former HoN players are dominating dota2 now (OG 2 times TI champs) Boxi,Mickey and many more...
Would it be possible for you to record your stream locally in ranked games, so you'd be able to upload a youtube version with the minimap visible, while in the live game it would still be covered?

dont be discouraged from this game grubby, no matter the level youre playing at games like this will happen. Weaver is great at picking off supports and back line heroes, you need more reliable stuns to deal with him which your draft doesn't have, so its understandably a very difficult game for you on pos 5.

I don't know about the specifics of twitch recording, but would there be any way to get the map on youtube ? Like the Logan blocker could be a twitch only overlay that is not recorded in the VOD ?

Live stream , some of those enemies , could know him, and have vision of his entire team, if they decide to watch his stream

I just wanna say, the "ward greed incident" was a throw moment, but not your fault. You dying there is ofc suboptimal, but overall not important, your team chain dying afterwards is tho. As a pos 5 its not good to die without reason, but its not the end of the world if your team doesnt need to fight while you're dead and in this case your team could and should just leave. You might have baited them, but they lost not to your mistake but there own bad decision making. GG and GL next :)

Weaver's bug and witch doctor's maledict is your worst nightmare grubby. You hated that two abilities when you were playing normal matches.

Weaver IS realy hard to lane, you need wards and magic to poke him. Sky, Lina, Zeus, disruptor are good sups vs weaver. Drow clinkz and sniper are good vs weaver too.

The enemy is using the agressive warding in early and mid game planting wards near you but not there territory.

Watching without mini map is so hard lol I watch the mini map sometimes more than the screen to know what's going on in the game haha
I really believe you are a ton better at other roles.
Give him some time lol. I think he was fantastic in certain areas and was eager to learn where he wasn't. If I were him I'd be watching the replay and see the parts where I made clutch saves just to feel good about myself but Grub literally only watched the parts he thought he was horrible at and took note of where he went amiss with the warding. He can be better at any role he wants to be better at.

personally, i think supports are the hardest role. i remember when i started playing dota, all i want to do is farm. i believe that is true for most players, so naturally you would be better at a carry role first

Commenting after wasting 2 obs in first few.minutes by just simply putting obs before sentry when u could just put sentry down and see the enemy sentry and obs. Tben deny and put the ward elsewere 😚 but he new to dota ofc. + Giving fb to enemy mid then congratulating himself for making so much space xD
After sending it off to the world's leading scientists, the maledict in fountain would have still killed you if you had used your wand. Around 140 damage and with wand charges you would've been at 100hp.
You were pretty good for your first time, i am sure you noticed the enemy and other players are playing from ages. Remember, when at back foot, magic wand for enemy spell spammers, infused rain drop to tank that magic and learn spells that would aid your life lile shallow grave.why am i even saying all this you are wc3 top 10 on the planet anyday, i am sure you will overtake all us viewers ranks faster than we reached ours. It is very hard to make it out of herald/guardian. It can be done, you just need a lot of mental fortitude. But I know you can and will do it!

Dota ranked is no joke , it's very competitive , even at lower brackets , ppl can get tilted and toxic rather quick.

Whenever I return after a long break, no matter how many Unranked I play, it NEVER fully prepares me for coming back to Ranked. There's a seriously big difference in try-hard, tilts & toxicity. Anyway, welcome to the real game, I guess! :)
