WildPoint’s 215 bpm is actually insane. Not just because of how high it was, but because he could literally have DIED from it. According to some scientists, the formula for your highest safe heart rate is 220 - your age. If your heart rate goes over that, you are at risk of a heart attack. This is why people can’t live forever, because eventually that number will get so low that your average heart rate will be at risk of a heart attack. So unless WildPoint is younger than 5 years old (which he obviously isn’t) then he was at a high risk of a heart attack. Geometry dash really is one of the most stressful games out there, with people literally putting their own lives at risk just to play.
By the way this is very dangerous, that's anaerobic heart rate ( so basically the heart rate you'd have in activities like sprinting at 100 % effort), to have that while playing a videogame seems pretty insane to me
I was doing 9 circles which is my first actually semi difficult demon and I died at 84% and my heart was like 190+ holy cow I was freaking out I kid you not after that I had to go cry a bit in my room lol
id say, i never knew this was even possible. i thought nax nearly died bc ive been told multiple times your highest heart rate is 220-your age. *215.* seriously, never would i have thought when i bought this square it would be one of those that breaks a human limit in a way i wouldve never expected. great video, hope to see more from you soon.
@@Cobgd the Karvonen formula is what you're on about and for it's more specifically based for fitness related activities. Obviously it doesn't account for the really short (anaerobic) bursts of heart rate; but it's more specifically based on everyday, normal activities. Now other factors also affect heart rate such as medical conditions, medication, fitness levels and changes to heart rate at age. As mentioned before, these kinds of heart rate peaks are caused through anaerobic levels of activity. These don't typically last longer than 2 minutes as they cause build up in some sort of lactic acid, causing pain and potentially worse conditions if consistently kept there. Regardless, it's ideal to keep yourself calm and collected in order to not get into this worry of going over your age limit Regardless, the Karvonen formula is more specifically targeted for targeted heart rate, not maximum.

Well that's a reason of why I kinda quit most of the rhythm games , because I can not only risk an heart attack, but heart disease as well. But one day , while playing a level called galaxy collapse on another rhythm game, I almost passed out and I was shacking half an hour due to the adrenaline and the shock I had.
