HD needs to make this L3 charging compatible. They will sell like crazy once they do that. No one wants to sit around for two hours waiting for an L2 charge with that range.
@@CoasterRob - sadly you will need an intern charger unit, that can handle all 3 phases. 1 phase gives you 3,7kw - 2 phases 11kw and 3 22kw if the internal charger can handle the incoming power to the max.
The issue they have is that the battery isn’t liquid cooled so the charge limit is more based on the temperature of the cells. In that regard the Can Am platform has an edge.
Love the electric feel....but currently have xsr 900, meteor 650, monkey, and new scrambler 400x on order....eventually will buy if the price comes down a little or tech improves on electric motorcycles.... my favorite now is small capacity.... small carbon footprint and amazing gas mileage... the ranges doesn't bother me but the price does for a limited motorcycle
That's quite a garage you have there! I've been in the market for an electric motorcycle for a few years now, and the pricing is getting better. It's probably going to take a while for pricing to be comparable with a standard motorcycle though.
When is at least one bike manufacturer going to develop a better looking brake reservoir? I get it that it needs to be above the brake lever piston, but there's a way to do that and contour that sucker to blend it in much better.
I like how that Maserati had to get in front of you two, only to be stuck at the same light. People.
Looks sharp. The Del Mar and this one both look good. Dig it.
Great as a commuter!
I think so!
I had no idea they were riding the Mulholland that day!!! I rode the Del Mar and went home thinking that was it😂😂😂
Aww, sorry to hear that! They only had one of them that day, so it was easy to miss.
@@KSSTUDIOS What's the difference between the two, they look very similar.
@@stockey They're actually quite different. The motor and swing arm are really the only things that are the same.
Unfortunately, they will not sell them in Australia

They just need to use the full potential of Typ 2 which is 22KW - so your charge time would be around 30-45min
@SkysaxonDragonslayer interesting so 22kw charging stations will charge in 30-45mins would this be the same for the Del Mar

f you could pick only ONE of the three models for livewire which one would u get?
I was looking at both bikes featured in this vlog but atm I'm looking at Del Mar because my original choice Mulholland isn't available in UK
would you consider these bikes to be cruiser-esque?
I personally think the Mulholland looks more like a cruiser than the Del Mar.
thanks for your input! excellent video!@@KSSTUDIOS
its amazing that you don't h e a r anything on those things
It really is a strange sensation the first time you try one.
But its scary that cars/trucks cannot hear also. I'm trying to get past that within myself.
