Gilas 3.0 hits different the stories and brotherhood they have always made me happy and motivated. I was in grade 8 when I became a fan of basketball starting with Gilas now I'm in my third year in college and still watching Kwentong Gilas and their past games whenever I have time.

Philippine team is good. They are good as individual players. They also have a good small players. But as a Fil-am here in the states, all we really want is for our home country to makes it in the Olympics. I hope the philippine coach and officials will come to realize that to compete in the international level you do not just need good guards, you need tall good guard. They have to get on with the times. Nowadays, tall guards 6'4 min and as tall as 6'10 who can handle the ball and shoot from the outside. Please somebody there send this message. If this is not possible due our natural size as Filipinos - then maybe we are so passionate and spending so much time on a sports that is not meant for us Filipinos. Perhaps maybe we should looking at some other team sport that do not require size and height. I am not saying we should stop playing sports we love - This is only for the sake of making noise in the international level.
