It's always good to take them apart and clean them out and grease the spring front and back it's always helped for me and I always like to check them for moisture keeps them from going bad
Wish I had all of that on mine I have to Manley pull back the pressure release arm I have the cable but that's about it I just use it to keep the arm from flipping all the way back it is a pain to have to reach over and flip it up each time you want to start it
Well sir it did sound good ! I was wondering if your thinking about building a Frankenstein 5 wheeler say with a picnic table between the rear axles ? That would be sweet ! I might do it if I had the inventory that you have ! Lol
I'm putting a pawl kit in mine right now, but there is an extra little spring which I'm unsure of. Maybe it has something to do with the decompression bit which I tossed out as a teenager 😅
I've learned a ton from your videos over the past few years never commented though. Thanks for always having useful information!! I was wondering though it seemed like that front axle was sticking out farther than normal on starter side?? Still working on front end??
Hello I have a 82 ATC 185s the coil is completely destroyed the parts are all missing and everything what do you recommend that I can do to make it work
Crazy I bought a Honda 200S and it has the one you call big foot on it. It’s still a pain in the ass to start but I’m blaming the CDI and the timing advance.
have 1985 200s. someone pulled the decompressor part from pull start and the cable off. I can find everything to buy online except the yellow plastic ring inside pull start. Any idea where i can find it? Also has weak spark and the plug seems little wet , bike doesnt start if you have any advice would be great. bike started last week.
I absolutely believe that. I saw 5 big foot 🦶 tracks in my lifetime but only 3 complete starters 🤣
Nice work, Harvey! That ATC sounds good!
Damn harvey I cant remember seeing a well used atc that still had that decompression cable still hooked up or even still there 😂😂😂😂

Great stuff!
Gotta love that 200MPH headlight 😂
Just a thought but i always spray out the recoil spring with carb cleaner before i oil it. Helps break some of the sticky out
