Watching her do that combo is swaying me to wanting the orange blush! I can only pick one, and I was leaning toward the red one, but I’m thinking that orange might combine to make some of my other blushes work better on my skin tone
In Canada it’s $81… that’s insanity!!! Dior, Chanel, or any luxury brand I expect an expensive price but Patrick Ta??? Also, it says a medium & buildable coverage on the website and it has the coverage of a skin tint. It’s an easy pass for me
I agree. With Chanel, you KNOW you are going to pay out the wazootie because it’s a luxury brand. (And not really an influencer brand at all. They get their sales from affluent middle-aged and older women who have been loyal customers for decades.) I am NOT paying that much money for a freaking *skin tint* not even a foundation, unless it promised to make me look half my age AND scoop the cat box.
Just a note on flashback and sunscreens-only physical sunscreens cause flashback, chemical sunscreens do not. It’s the zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide in physical sunscreens that can cause flashback. So if your makeup product has a chemical sunscreen, you should be good. 😊
Yes! Thank you!! There are sooo many misconceptions about sunscreen! Specifically about this, I’ve worked at makeup stores and I’ve had people refuse to buy spf bc they “like taking pictures and don’t want flashback”
I love your videos, you show that real people have pores and texture. Surprisingly a lot of influencers have an obvious filter and don't look like they have human skin.
The Patrick Ta foundation's amount of dew is exactly how my makeup ends up looking after 3-4 hours of wear. I have oily skin though. I really think this foundation won't be for oily skin people unless they are obsessed with the dewy skin look.
My thought is that the formula, for whatever reason, is geared to those with dry skin. You know how it is: not all foundation formulas are going to work on all skin types. I do sympathize with those who have oily skin. I had VERY oily skin before I took Accutane, and I haven't forgotten how it was. Now I have dry skin, and between the two, I prefer dealing with dry skin.
People with oily skin are being forgotten these days😂especially people with oily acne prone skin.. Most of the new launches cater towards people with normal to dry with perfectly smooth texture free skin which is really frustrating
@afraomar7711 ooo if i may add, is it only me or some new complexion products just don't sit well on my large pores?? they're f ing us oily girlies over
Kelly I just checked the price for the Patrick Ta Foundation at Sephora here in Canada and it is $81. The foundation looks beautiful on you. I always like these videos
The foundation looks very good on you. I've now seen it tested on several content creators with combo/oily skin, and it was a complete miss for them. Think disco ball. I'll pass.
Thank you, Kelly, for trying and honestly reviewing the new launches so we don’t have to! Seriously, Patrick Ta, $58? For me that would be fifty-eight clams to look like melted ice cream. I’m sticking to my beloved Yummy Skin. I know some people love dewy but I just can’t. And I especially do not want to plop down nearly $60 to find out a product is not for me, especially now that Sephora has really tightened up their return policies. The Seven Virtues bottle looks absolutely gorgeous; too bad I don’t like fruity perfumes! Maybe I can just get an empty bottle! 😆
may I ask what you're referring to with Sephora tightening up their return policies? feeling out of the loop bc I checked and it seems like it hasn't changed since 2021
It looks good, but I'm going to stick with my regular foundations. Kelly, I want you to do a K-beauty makeup. And you make a comparison between the formulas you usually use and the Korean. Or it could be overall Asian beauty makeup, there's a lot of good makeup in Asia and I would love to hear your thoughts. 💚
I'm unexpectedly a little excited about spf concealer: my favorite sunscreens are all chemical formulas, not mineral, so when they get close to my eyes they hurt and ruin my whole day. I never thought about a second formula just for the eye area, but now even if the concealer isn't the answer I can justuse a mineral formula closer to my eyes and eyebrows.
I probably would have tried that foundation, but…it definitely makes you look sweaty. You’re beautiful, you have gorgeous skin, but now you’re looking sweaty. Thanks for saving me the $ and trouble.
Hii Kelly! I haven't been able to watch youtube in a couple of months....no way I'm ever catching up but I'm going to your channel after this to catch up on your videos. Love them!
I really like that Persimmon and Rhubarb blush on you. And the NYX glow too! The foundation on your left side that you powdered with the Mario puff also looks really good.
Do you think you would be able to do like a makeup guide for people with dry skin who like a matte/satin finish? I love the look of a matte finish but I never know how to prep and layer my makeup properly because the makeup always looks so cakey and separated after
Unrelated to this video but I got the Elf lash n roll at your recommendation and I LOVE it!!!! I had been using the Lancôme lash idole for years and I honestly love the Elf more! Thank you! 💗
I’m pretty sure that the Glossier foundation looks exactly the same, along with at least 20 other foundations that cost $25-35; I have never felt like such a hater watching a “new makeup” video oml lol
If you like a really sweet gourmand you should try very very vanilla from Victoria secret pink it’s amazing I’ve never used up a scent so fast in my life :)
I love your candid reviews. Especially when you receive thongs in PR and still question things like the price. I find you, Theresa is Dead and Angelica Nyquist are particularly straightforward and real. Thanks!!
I stopped by Sephora today and picked up a couple of samples of the Patrick Ta foundation after watching this video! It felt like lotion on my hand when I swatched it at the store, so look forward to trying it tomorrow on my very dry skin!
Hi from Michigan! Im interested in the BareMinerals concealer...i use the Colorscience Spf concealer and its almost twice the price. Totally here for Sph concealer!❤❤
Setting aside whether people like spf in makeup, companies put it in products like concealer, blush, and bronzer because they assume you’re also using their spf foundation but not putting it up under your eyes. Spf cheek products compensate for thinning out the foundation coverage/spf in blush application.
I like the nyx glosses, but mostly the colors, lol. It can be very painful, depending on how much you apply. I wish they had them without the plump. 🤷♀️
Hi Kelly, new subscriber here, thanks for the video! I have to agree with you that the Patrick Ta foundation is on the pricey side. I looked at the ingredients, and it doesn't have added fragrance, fragrant ingredients, or alcohol in it. So for those of us with dry, sensitive skin, it may be a product to consider if we can't find something more reasonable. As for the Bare Minerals concealer, I used your link and looked at the colors on the Ulta site. And my thought was, "Wow, even the lightest ones for fair skin look dark!" And then I remembered that sometimes colors on the Ulta side are off. I don't know why, but it happens. So I looked at the product on the Bare Minerals site, and the fair shades still looked dark! As well as either pink or peach, as you remarked. I think they just didn't get those shades right.
I'm sorry, I really don't like the yellow blush. I know Angelica loves her orange blushes, and so do I, but this is not the orange I would ever go for. Way too yellow and not flattering. I would even go as far as saying it would not be flattering on most people. Too bad.
That foundation is stunning but…….it’s $81CDN…..ouch 😅. I’m never gonna say never because it is beautiful but for now it’s a no based on the crazy price 😢 Love love love your honest reviews 💗 Xo 🇨🇦
Why is this foundation so expensive? I thought Patrick Ta was more of a mid range brand. This price point seems so steep compared to the rest of his brand.
And by the way I have “natural boyfried blush” and you are the only creator I know that made it look so beautiful! Thank you Kelly for making me feel safe in this community
I can't stand the caramel skin. It's so funny I hated it upon initial spray and found it way more tolerable when it settled down into brown sugar! Vanilla Skin is still KING!!!! That one is fantastic from start to finish! I haven't tried the coconut skin yet but it's on the list. AND I actually am enjoying Heavy Cream. It's delicious without being sticky sweet juvenile smelling.
Honestly, the SPF critique is fair but the same thing could be said for foundation with SPF. You're not applying it evenly to the whole face and you're not using the SPF dose, just what you want for pigment. So if someone loves having a bit extra sun protection, I don't see why they wouldn't want that in their concealer, just like their foundation.
That foundation is a pass for me. Even in your dry skin looks way too oily for my liking, so I can only imagine on my combination skin, on top of the price 😒
Babs Beauty had the same problem with the foundation! Once she powdered it lifted on the chin and cheek area and then once blush was on, her entire cheek was showing through 🫤
Loving the blush combo on you, thank you for trying out our blushes! 😊❤
Congratulations on such a beautiful launch!!!
Watching her do that combo is swaying me to wanting the orange blush! I can only pick one, and I was leaning toward the red one, but I’m thinking that orange might combine to make some of my other blushes work better on my skin tone

She also looks like herself with or without makeup.
The Patrick Ta foundation's amount of dew is exactly how my makeup ends up looking after 3-4 hours of wear. I have oily skin though. I really think this foundation won't be for oily skin people unless they are obsessed with the dewy skin look.

That first blush color is unlike anything I’ve seen before! I hope you use it again and show us. It’s pretty and unique!
I definitely want to keep playing with it!
I love that blush combo! It’s such a “sunset blush” look that’s gorgeous!
Kelly I just checked the price for the Patrick Ta Foundation at Sephora here in Canada and it is $81. The foundation looks beautiful on you. I always like these videos

The blushes were beautiful and made almost a sunset blush on you! Gorgeous!!

I love the concealer with spf idea!! I usually don't apply much sunscreen around my eye area and the more the better
Yes that's exactly what I was thinking!
I probably would have tried that foundation, but…it definitely makes you look sweaty. You’re beautiful, you have gorgeous skin, but now you’re looking sweaty. Thanks for saving me the $ and trouble.
Liking and commenting now for your algorithm but have to finish watching later.
Hii Kelly! I haven't been able to watch youtube in a couple of months....no way I'm ever catching up but I'm going to your channel after this to catch up on your videos. Love them!
Mario’s pink powder color reminds me of the ELF Halo Glow light pink powder!
Yes! It’s a very similar shade
I really like that Persimmon and Rhubarb blush on you. And the NYX glow too! The foundation on your left side that you powdered with the Mario puff also looks really good.
There should be more orange / yellow blush options on the market tbh
Have you tried likely makeup? It's a bit old but they have a the clown blush palette with orange, yellow. It's also very pigmented.
The yellow blush looks so good on you! I think yellow/orange blushes may be something you should experiment with more!
I definitely want to play around with it more!
The yellow blush is gorgeous! The combo is great but I really love that idea of the yellow blush woth bronzer
These launches maybe underwhelming but your videos are amazing Kelly💜!
Thank you for being honest!!!! This is rare and we all appreciate it! ❤
I think the concealer looked really good under your eyes. The peachiness canceled out the blue and it looked so natural
Do you think you would be able to do like a makeup guide for people with dry skin who like a matte/satin finish? I love the look of a matte finish but I never know how to prep and layer my makeup properly because the makeup always looks so cakey and separated after
Thank you for trying these products out and saving me money yet again on a product that won’t work for my oily skin. ❤
You look pretty and your skin looks beautiful 😍
Unrelated to this video but I got the Elf lash n roll at your recommendation and I LOVE it!!!! I had been using the Lancôme lash idole for years and I honestly love the Elf more! Thank you! 💗
It's so much better than the benefit one it's duping
absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing it with us! 🌟😍

Thanks for always trying to give us a clear view!
I think the Singe persimmon blush looks so nice on you!
If you like a really sweet gourmand you should try very very vanilla from Victoria secret pink it’s amazing I’ve never used up a scent so fast in my life :)
VS Scents are bit cruelty free, are they?
I’m not sure 🤔
Hi Kelly love your videos irs nice to see another influencer with brown eyes like me with the eye shadows
I love your candid reviews. Especially when you receive thongs in PR and still question things like the price. I find you, Theresa is Dead and Angelica Nyquist are particularly straightforward and real. Thanks!!
That blush combo is amaaaaaazing on you😍
Holy fluff balls 58 doll hairs 😮
I stopped by Sephora today and picked up a couple of samples of the Patrick Ta foundation after watching this video! It felt like lotion on my hand when I swatched it at the store, so look forward to trying it tomorrow on my very dry skin!
I love when you do perfume content❤
I really appreciate the detail you give when describing products it’s very helpful 💛
The blush combo looks so good!
Thank you for everything you do! ❤
Your hair is goals!
Loving the fragrance content Girlie!! 🩷 What's your absolute favorite right now?

KELLY!! How did you do your hair like this? Its stunning!
The Patrick Ta Foundation is not something I would get. It’s so dewy it’s sticky. No thanks, I’ll buy Fenty or Armani and keep the change xxx
I like the nyx glosses, but mostly the colors, lol. It can be very painful, depending on how much you apply. I wish they had them without the plump. 🤷♀️

What’s your fav foundation? I have so many foundations. I feel like nothing is working for my 44 yr old skin. I’m super oily too.
Have you tried the new it cosmetics skin care cream blushes?
Gteat video. $58 to much for me. Love the blush combo and lip combo.👍✔️❗🍁🍂
Why is this foundation so expensive? I thought Patrick Ta was more of a mid range brand. This price point seems so steep compared to the rest of his brand.
In Australia the Patrick Ta would be $85.....$30-$35 is drug store price for us here in Australia
Please try the LYS loose setting powder
It’s on my list!
@@KellyGooch Thank you❤️❤️

@@lolwhat2628look up how much each spf range covers. I think you'd be surprised. There is definitely diminishing returns after the 20/25 point.
The foundation is $81 CAD

What nail polish are you wearing???? I need it now! 😀
I’m actually wearing press on nails :)
@@KellyGooch Thanks for the reply. I’m bummed but I’ll be looking for a similar color in nail polish. 💅

Kadınlar VS Kızlar Gözlüklü Kadınlar VS Kızlar
I have mature combo skin that foundation and is a no for me. Does the powder blurr texture.
That blush looks like jaundice and patchy- you took one for the team on that one😂
That foundation is a pass for me. Even in your dry skin looks way too oily for my liking, so I can only imagine on my combination skin, on top of the price 😒
Yes too dewy for me
❤❤❤

😊👍

The foundation looks like post facial skin.
Not into Patrick Ta products too pricy in my opinion
IMO….everything is getting unreasonable price wise
💜💙💚
Of course you were disappointed
