The "vomit camera" is generally easier to work with. Since, with the other style of camera, you'd also need to change how the player's input translate to the character's movement direction in game whereas with "vomit camera" the direction would not change as much. It sucks, but it's easier to add. Since this is a framework it can easily by modified however, so if anyone want to change it, they can give it a shot. It would take a lot of trial and error tho.
This is an almost perfect evolution of the Adventure formula with a higher emphasis on momentum. I really hope some levels are made for this so we can actually see its potential realised. But for the love of God please remove the white speed lines when Sonic goes fast. It takes up 25% of the screen and a lot of the time doesn't even help convey speed. Asides that this is a great project.
