Oh yes. Have loved Lucy for years. I thought she was perfect 5 years ago, but she is still getting even better. And she is such a lovely person from a lovely family. You said she might be from the north. I'm not familiar with the UK, but she is from Wigan. She has released about 5 CDs. This was her first large public performance, earlier this year.

Great reaction ladies to 20 year old Lucy's first ever solo "live" concert in Manchester earlier this year. Since then she's done one in Tokyo Japan and one in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane London. Next year she is due to star in a brand new musical written especially for her on London's West End stage called "Rosie." After appearing on the "Voice Kids" Lucy was invited to sing the song "One Day" by the composer and owner of the Cavendish record label Chris Broom at his recording studios. After hearing her stunning performance Chris said, "I believe that Lucy has the potential to be the best female singer in the world." There's a video on utube of her singing this song that you both really must react to, in my opinion it's the birth of an international superstar. You guys are too funny, but quite accurate about Lucy. 2 songs that haven’t been recommended yet in the comments are Footprints In The Sand (Originally by Leona Lewis) and We Can Change The World (the closing song in the upcoming musical Rosie).
Lucy has an incredible voice that is going a long way, there are plans for a new musical, ‘Rosie’, she is due to star in. But there is already a very varied back catalogue and IMO one of the best voices you will ever hear - clarity, pitch perfect, extraordinary breath control and she has taken on some of the great divas and come out on top. My favourites are ‘all by myself’ and a duet with her sister ‘the prayer’, some of her latest releases may be ‘technically’ better sung but I always return to those as my favourite. In any case you cannot go wrong with any Lucy recording, all are world class.

This is a departure from what you expect from Nightwish - it is very lovely and could move you to tears. The composer wrote it after his father passed away.

Lucy has an incredible voice that is going a long way, there are plans for a new musical, ‘Rosie’, she is due to star in. But there is already a very varied back catalogue and IMO one of the best voices you will ever hear - clarity, pitch perfect, extraordinary breath control and she has taken on some of the great divas and come out on top. My favourites are ‘all by myself’ and a duet with her sister ‘the prayer’, some of her latest releases may be ‘technically’ better sung but I always return to those as my favourite. In any case you cannot go wrong with any Lucy recording, all are world class.

I've just subscribed, so I have the right to suggest. My 'other' best singer in the world, apart from Lucy, is Floor Jansen. You must listen to ' Lanternlight ' from Nightwish. This is a departure from what you expect from Nightwish - it is very lovely and could move you to tears. The composer wrote it after his father passed away.
