  • We built a tv stand using wood pallets. We used wood pallets for the top shelf only, but if you want to see how to incorporate more pallets into your project, you can look at our wood pallet coffee table video ( • Wood Pallet Coffee Table ). The pallets can be used for the legs and the rest of the shelving as well.
    In this video:
    - Four 4x4s cut to 25 inches for the legs. The 1/2" notches were down 3.5", 9", and 9", with the bottom shelf 3" off the ground. ALL angles were 45*.
    - Three 1/2 inch plywood sheets cut to 18" x 48", and the top sheet is a couple inches larger.
    - The height of the tv mount (including the 2x4 frame and Birch plywood sheet) will depend on the tv height; ours is about 16" from the top shelf.
    - The wood pallets will be a giant puzzle of different sizes- whatever happens to fit on the shelf.
    - The planking we used on the lower shelves: www.lowes.com/...

    - Minwax Clear Satin Polyurethane (clear coat)- www.lowes.com/...
