A NEW FLEET OF TRUCKS! | Truckers: Season Two | All Documentary

- Following the well-known haulage company Eddie Stobart, famous for their iconic green lorries and smartly dressed drivers, as they work around the clock to load-up, drive and deliver their cargo to their deadlines.
This highly popular observational documentary featuring haulage firm Eddie Stobart shows Stobart’s Haulage, Rail and Air divisions. The programme joins the drivers as they take on the challenges of delivering everything from the new pitch at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, to a London Landmark - the famous Piccadilly lights. It's all a bit sensationalist though, with perfectly normal traffic congestion being described as the drivers' "worst nightmare" and standard delivery deadlines made out to be life-or-death cut offs. The series also meets a new breed of drivers, as 20 young lads compete to win a place on the firm’s coveted apprenticeship scheme.

As a trucker of six years from the United States, this is so interesting. I would love to drive.
Los camiones trailer de EEUU son más espectaculares que los europeos
we all know that was barry sending the 100 emails hahahaha
That lady was way to excited to see her name on the Grill of a truck....cool to see her so happy but very weird....
😂
What a great guy Barry is.
Didn’t realise Birmingham was north of both Manchester and Liverpool 😅
I'm surprised that, in this day and age, that the drivers can't check the temp of the trailer from the cab.
From what I can see it looks like a carrier unit on the trailer and I bet they choose not to go with the bluetooth connection system .. but they do exist in the states.
bear in mind this was in 2011 and things might have changed since then
They can, if they chose to install the technology. They can monitor temperatures remotely such as on the dispatchers computer
Tbf he probly can most rerailers wont use the in cab for there paperwork so some drivers dont use them either
This is ten years old. That would have been much more difficult to do in those days.
By 3 years the trucks are beaten up and worn out,68 plates I have driven have panels missing, bits hanging off the dash, oil on the beds, utter shambles.
They've interviewed the only employees who can speak English.
now now paul, wouldn't call some of that English!
what does smellness mean?
This movie makes me chill
39:10 So much for 3 points of contact hehe.
I love stobart truckers
I liked the fun fact about the roll 😂😂
I used to pull triple trailers in Oregon US 105.5 ft long. Road train? Todd the retired trucker.
I love watching it cause u can see all the ex stobart trucks ❤️
Bridges benares ! Public be fearful ! These boys mean business.
Why do they wash then de wrap? Surely they will need to wash again after de wrapping
6:29 apparently Birmingham has moved
70k £ for a new truck.. that is steep price for a new unit .. that is a COE sleeper with a tag axle
30:09 when did ross kemp become a crane operator?
Pharmaceutical loads in the USA can be very crazy.
53’ trailer
1 pallet
1 piece (carton)
Total gross weight 100 lbs
if you look at the map of steves journey birminham has moved up to longridge near preston excellent ?????
6:30 geography a bit off
Amazing Keep on doing these videos
Wouldn’t you think there would be a buy back agreement at the time of purchase
Thought they would lease the lot anyway
So they just let the spotter onto the yard…wow
Once you’ve worked for stobarts it dawns on you very quickly just how false the company is, that said there not alone the transport industry is a hard place to earn a reasonable living mainly because of very long hours and shift rotas. Stobarts try to come across as all is great within the company , when in actual fact it couldn’t be further from the truth
It's the truth my dads a stobart driver
But that's what the industry is like Ed, In Aussie trucks and trailers are loaded to the max , they even have to be careful with fuel tanks ,, lots have 6 tanks over a 1000 lt
why on earth did matt put those awful tassles in the cab of his brand new truck??
I LOVE SCANIAS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. SCANIAS ARE MY FAVORITE. SCANIA IS MY #1 FAVORITE & NO OTHER MANUFACTURER CAN'T BEAT MY #1 FAVORITE. SCANIAS IS MY NICKNAME

I was so hard driving an automatic in a luxury truck grow up come to Australia drive here
I'd hate to think what they'd think of a real road train there since they make such a big deal of a little truck and trailer unit.
Needed that sandwich fact file at 25:25 cheers
Yeah did not need the close up of the person eating thanks
No stobert's at Peterborough truck show this year. Wonder why???
There were so WS trucks which is the same company I think
WS Transportation is a different company that was started by William Stobart and his son Edward Stobart (Jr), the "Edd Stobart" that passes his HGV Class 2 and then Class 1 tests later in this series. William left Eddie Stobart in 2017 but went back in 2019 to help them out I think.
Also they may of not wanted to go this year because of covid
Pfff, Stobart trucks 1st class ahahahah lol 😆 😂 🤣. I bought 4 Volvos 16 plate I am not Impressed at all!
How much diesel does this company go through in a week??
Think on this FedEx Express uses 2.1 million gallons of jet fuel a month
A little over dramatic I think, I chose the transport industry as a second career, first trucks and now I've moved abroad buses. It's not all burger n chips either, out here you are actively encouraged to eat healthily. Great job tho!
how sad these lorry spotters are lol
Rates of pay arnt very competitive
I have to ask , is it only for Stobart that there are spotters or also other companies ? Are there other UK based transport Co. that name the trucks ?
There are many spotters for alot of trucks around the UK and Europe not just for stobart but stobart is the only truck company where all vehicles are named
@@kingsleyhealey1731 I know about emergency vehicle spotters as i myself was photographed in my own ambulance once in Belgium. Ans supercar spotters. I guess there are spotters for all types of vehicles. Thx for the response , after a year one forgot i even posed this question ...
Unhealthy in the USA as well... we have a health and fitness coach with the company I drive for.
