@@Basih Just watch the RPM gauge, takes it up to the redline and beyond. However I doubt the engine is still cold at this point and that they did a quick cut.
the area wasn’t prepped too nicely before the mirror went on. i can see a bit of paint went on the chips which is nice but still looks dirty and beat. i would’ve covered the chips a bit more thoroughly with paint and a quick polish before putting the mirror back on.
Looking back to when they 1st started to film this show the cars were nasty the engine bay is gross the cars really looked like shit seems like they just slapped it back together

They can be screwed on or they can use self-adhesive pads or strips. Gives a much cleaner finish but are a pain to remove and leave behind a sticky residue.
Was watching the new wheeler dealers on sky last night with the rabbit gti. I had to turn it off. Not wanting to sound funny, im sure the new mechanic is really skilled and good at what he does, but can you stop treating your viewers like fools? This incessant back to basics with a lesson on how a butterfly valve opens, or how a battery is connected to a bulb...its really silly and unnecessary, we already have mechanical knowledge, or we wouldn't watch the show. Ed used to show us how to do skilled tasks, this new guy is giving us lessons on what a wheel does on a car...etc.. come on guys.. tech it up a bit its embarrassing. And the 'comedy' moments when ant was drooling over cars on the internet, and made it look like he was looking at porn, and mike says that will make you go blind...what the hell is all that about. If i wanted to watch crap like that id put gas monkey garage on.. 1 lost watcher.
Honestly people have such short attention span these days that is why they dumb'd down the show a little. Ant is great, the show..... is ok/good I guess.
based on the nice green paint on the exhaust muffler, the place that did the respray was very professional.... : )
@ 03:25 lovely slip of the tongue when Ed calls a set of feeler gauges a 'Vernier Gauge'. Or as we called them a 'Very Near Gauge'
I am amazed that you didn't take the chance to clean up the engine and engine bay when you had the chance.
Of course I liked it, Edd was doing the work.
7:27 perfect cold start rev 😁😁
This is why i avoid mechanics in general
Didn't sound like more than 3500 rpm tbh, it's fine.
@@Basih Just watch the RPM gauge, takes it up to the redline and beyond. However I doubt the engine is still cold at this point and that they did a quick cut.
@@SlugPlays I think the RPM gauge is faulty. It bounces all over the place and doesn't seem to give an accurate reading.
Basih check the gauge. Revving any engine like that cold after a week of no start isn’t fine.
Now "How to deAmericanise WD"
1:30 Talks about "Top Money", the caps are visibly more darker than the rims.
1:25 what was the liquid Edd used to polish the caps? Just before he used the red primer.
A god among engineers,Mr China.

Edd needs to come back.
3:23 Vernier gauge or feeler gauge.
No idea why he said Vernier, they look completely different.
Brewer is still a bell end but why hasnT Jezza and co signed Ed up to make stuff for them ?
they did,,, remember the double decker racing on top gear? ed build those cars
Strange looking Vernier gauge, it looks just like a feeler gauge to me.

Thank god he remove the orange filter of the death..
Make sure to always rev a cold engine after a service
Noted. Thanks
@@bigsohc I was being sarcastic don't actually rev a cold engine
Wait, your license plate glues on?

good title
Professional respray? With all that overspray on the muffler, frame, etc. More like maaco
Where is Ed now?
Sorry Edd,wing mirrors go on the wing, not the door. You mean door mirror.lol
nobody will know the horrors underneath.....until you watch the show
Wish someone would de-Americanise my porch. People keep dropping by with fruitcakes.
Relax, people. It's a joke.
Witty, I like it. I wish people would just leave my porch alone.
Its Porsche

mike needs to understand it was both of them who got the show going not one
Edd you its king of the engineering,😁😁😁😁😁😁😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
Perhaps, you could de-Anglicize it by not calling it Poorsh
Bring back edd
He's fired the parts cannon at that oil gauge problem. I don't understand the excess love for Edd. Sorry
The problem can also be related to a bad seal on the oil cap. Can make the idle run very badly.

You are wrong when you say "we already have mechanical knowledge". Um no, most don't. This is why most people buy new cars. Period.

«PorschE» in German.
Good job deamericanizing it, now do the most American thing and LS turbo swap lol jk……do that to the 996
Kinda bad video ratio...
Well we had 4:3 ratio TVs back then. This show was from 2006.
@@aaryeshg.6526 Maybe the show was 4:3, but this isn´t 4:3, this is just badly done.
@@natjes6017 You can't really expand a 4:3 ratio to a 16:9 without the video looking all stretched

Never pay for a rebuilt gearbox when you have to trade in your old one! Scam alert
why...it's common practice here and saves time/money
Al T over here too, but it doesnt save money, it’s not that hard to rebuild one. Do it yourself.
All a load of bollocks
Quite possibly the ugliest car ever designed
