I love this band. No matter what people say they changed punk rock forever. Laura Jane Grace is dragging punks into the 21 century. She is the past present and future of punk rock.
right before the final chord of true trans soul rebel an ad played for a weight loss dieting scheme thing and I was instantly snapped back into the reality of this world. I watched the whole thing. when it ended I was back to Laura screaming into the mic for the last three seconds of the video and everything was fine again.
I just really hope Laura will have the strength to survive all the hate and keep the positive vibes because they rock and she deserves so much more love
This badass performance saved the absolute shitshow that was the APMAs. Brilliant, and I will definitely have to check out Mina's band!! What amazing voices!
Saw them in Boston last fall. Out of the 100's and more bands I have seen they were in the top five. Outstanding show, Atom Willard put on one of the best drum clinics ever.
Saw them at U of I in Champaign in 2017. It was the first time I ever heard the term transgender. Something clicked that night, like... it felt like someone understood how I felt. Sure enough, two years later, I came out as MTF. Thank you, Laura. Thank you for opening my eyes.
She was the first Artist whose songs really resonated with me, before I would listen to just Political songs or Sabaton, but She really clicked with my emotions and helped me accept my Transgenderism
You think so? I think she's usually really good and this performance was pretty standard at best. Not saying that you're wrong. Just interesting how perspective works.
IAmJessesus I've see on them indoors and outdoors and her voice fucking hit me like truck. Maybe it lacks in perfection but definitely not in heart. She's got one of the loudest voices I've ever heard.
Fuck yeah! Two kickass, Punk Rock ladies killing it on stage! I get the feeling the audience wasn't allowed to get up and move to the music because a few people in the audience look like they really wanna dance, but aren't...
1st song: Teenage Anarchist from White Crosses (album) 2nd: Delicate, Petite, and other things from Shape Shift With Me (album) 3rd, I'm not quite sure what this songs name is, it's on the tip of my tounge, 4th True Trans Soul Rebel from Transgender Dysphoria Blues. This band has always been a favorite of mine, seen em, met Laura, and Atom. Get their records, you will be pleasantly surprised
Just like shaq said about Ron artest... His mama named him tom Gable... I'll call him Tom Gable... Was a fan of theirs from their first album and are still one of my favourite bands
Not debating trans rights or what is disrespectful with you. To you it is so theoretical, so you have little emotional investment. I live it. Get bent. Your mama named you C. Lalrinawma but I am going to call you Chucklefuck.

deluded
Lol
not really the future no more but I'm forming a band so maybe that'll be us, i don't know
Can't believe people are sitting down for this.
Absolute heroes, and one of the best performances I've ever seen them put on. Mina was brilliant too!
Against Me always killing it
True

Laura looks so happy 🖤
When Mina kissed the trans fan that came up to the stage at the end, I lost it. Amazing and beautiful performance. God bless these rebel women
I just really hope Laura will have the strength to survive all the hate and keep the positive vibes because they rock and she deserves so much more love
Saw them at 2006 warped tour before she was Laura. Still just as powerful as back then.
She was always Laura, it just took a while for it to emerge.
awesome and congratulations for the award. rock it out girl. and the rest of the band too. they killed it.
Wow, theres a big difference between the comments on this video and the one where she won an award (aka a lot of trans hate)
I was in the room for this, and it still gives me chills to watch.... I love this band, that woman, so much!!

Always a pleasure to see you play when you're having fun!
God, I love them so much. I wish I had discovered them years ago.

Laura's voice lacks in their live performances sometimes, but FUCK she killed it this time
You think so? I think she's usually really good and this performance was pretty standard at best. Not saying that you're wrong. Just interesting how perspective works.
IAmJessesus she was phenomenal when I saw them for the TDB album tour. idk.

On my IG I have a pic of her standing next to me outside the venue listening to the crowd cheer. it's a great shot of her
The only thing that saved this mess of a shitshow lmao
Mina Caputo is horrible here. Dreadful. Laura and the boys tear it up as usual though.
Love tom gable
